BIG UPDATE THIS WEEK !!! ---------------------------------- FEEDING MISTAKE / TRANSPLANTING THE PLANT ------------------------------------------------------- Last week, the plant was showing some feeding issue (some burned tips). After discussing with another grower ( @Asnoriu ) and carefully listening his advices, I decided to transplant the queen to a bigger pot. 16L can be ok, but I had a long veg (10 weeks), and this was getting too small for the lady. So starting from now, I will always transplant before flowering, since I understood & learned how it help the plant to develop good roots network. The plant probably suffered from too much feeding with Fish-mix. Asnoriu told me He was using it at 50% of the recommend dose, and not at each watering. This totally make sense, especially when i look back at my first grow : I used no fish-mix during almost all the veg, and she grow verry well. My gardening soil was probably rich enough for my plants! I transplanted the plant to a bigger pot (16L -> 30L) and filled the new pot with Biobizz All-Mix soil. I took the plant from the old fabric pot like if it was a sock : what a niiiice and easy technic ! (Thanks again Asnoriu). Watered with pure water (ph at 6.2-6.5), without any nutrients (All-mix is already rich enough). I will feed again in 1-2 weeks. BIG ERROR WHEN APPLYING LST BACK IN THE NEW POT --------------------------------------------------------------- I had to remove my strings (LST) to switch to the new Pot. When I was applying the LST again in the new pot, I went too far with tension... And the main-lining broke 😟 So I fixed it verrry quickly by releasing LST tension, and using a string to tight the stem where it broke. In less than 5 minutes it was fixed. I was verry worried that it may have killed my queen.... But she didn't shown any sign of stunt, and 48h hours later, I can say that she look verry good. This doesn't slowed her. She seems to grow faster since transplant, so all good :) So, note to myself : never try to LST when flowering started, or only verry carefully, with just littles adjustements. Last week I fought some yellowing of the leaves. Did some small adjustments on PH to keep it in the 5.6 range. Seemed to stop it from progressing. For Week 3 Veg I topped the plants. I plan to flip the lights at the end of week 3 and move into flower. Day 15 I continued to have yellowing leaves even though I had everything looking right. (Added Pic). I decided to look into the PH to see if I was having issues with it. I have a meter in the water 100% of the time taking a reading every 1 sec. It all looked right. But I decided to Calibrate it in 4,7,10 solutions. Found out that my meter was off. So new to the check list is to calibrate the meter before each grow. I was thinking my PH was High, when in reality it was low. put in some PH up to get it back to 5.5 and over the last 16 hours things look pretty good. Leaves look darker. Day 17 Things are looking good. Leaves are getting darker and new growth coming in. Day 18 Turned room temp down to 73F from 76F. Fearing it is warming up my res tank too much. Day 19 Starting to get yellowing again. checked everything and can't find a good reason for it. Did notice some cloudiness in my res tank. Added 2 ML/Gal of peroxide. have Hydroguard on the way to help. I'll be adding more fans this weekend. I have light air movement currently. Also found a few spider mites and sprayed Greencleaner to all plants. Current environment settings: Room Temp 72.74 F Room Humidity 63.63% (After spraying, Trending down). Room CO2 589PPM Tank PH 5.70 Tank PPM (500 Scale) 953 Tank Temp 74.05 F Day 20 Recalibrated my EC probe just to be sure it was also accurate. wasn't off by much. Dialed back my flooding to every 5 hours to encourage Rooting. <-- Strong roots = strong Plants Sprayed for mites

Que pasa familia, vamos con la novena semana de floración de estas Kiwi x Papaya feminizadas de Mavericks . Vamos al lío ,se trasplantaron en macetas de 7 litros definitivamente. El ph se controla en 6.0 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 24/20 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 12h de luz, el foco está al 100% de potencia. De momento van creciendo a buen ritmo y tienen un buen color. La flor está cogiendo forma y madurando, produjo bastantes tricomas, se ve potente. Nov.8 - Watered girls 250mL each, 0.25mL of each nutrient for each plant Nov.9 - Moved these girls into Vivosun tent under Phlizon 1200w light from a Marz Hydro tent 5x5 with Marz Hydro ts 1000 light. We needed to move these girls to this tent and have our DWC in the bigger tent so the DWC plants don’t get too hot at the bottom *once girls were transported to new tent the leaves turned to curl and lift upwards, the light is on veg and is 24” high Nov.10 - Watered girls 250mL each, 0.25mL of each nutrient for each plant Nov.10 - Decided we don’t like the blurple light and took one of our Mars Hydro lights from our big tent and switched it Nov.11 - Watered each plant, 500mL, 1mL of each nutrient. Our girls drank soo fast so we are bumping it up a bit Nov.12 - Our girl #1’s leaves are a little droopy and are looking a bit weird in some spots (darker green and almost wrinkled). Our girl #2 though is going great and we started some LST training on her today. Let her growww Nov.14 - Started our girl #1 on LST her leaves are much happier now! Ohhh boy #2 is sprouting so nice she’s starting to fill out so well and she just blossomed once we started LST, she was facing upwards in less than 24h!! Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 9 May 18– 24 FLOWER 5 Nutrients : 3 gal GH Micro 20 ml GH Gro 10 ml GH Bloom 30ml CalMag 15 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 15ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/18 PH 6.67, PPM 935, temp 68.5 1 ltr each 5/20 PH 6.67, PPM 1330, temp 68.5 2ltr each 5/23 PH 6.6, PPM 1570, temp 68.5 2ltr each 5/24 pics & vid Since all 6 gals are getting frosty, I did some trichome pics. The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. Pheno hunt is rolling along smoothly. Gave the plants their first feeding. Top dressed with coast of Maine lobster compost cut with Stonington blend to give a little aeration. 3:1 ratio coast of Maine plant food 5:2:4. Roughly 1 tbsp per pot. Mixed in with compost and soil and scratched into top 4 inches Watered in with a blend of Neptune harvest liquid fertilizer in ratio 1:2:1 (npk) watered down to 1tsp/gal in this order: Fish: Crab: Kelp The ZB is definitely a shorter stockier plant with short internodal spacing. Originated from very tiny seeds which might explain the smaller plant form at the start. Once it puts in some biomass it might pick up the speed. HP seems to like to stretch a little more. Growing like crazy Rainbow belts looking like the model freak of nature that it is. Near perfect. 18hrs post feed/ top dress and the plants are recovering beautifully. Liquid fertilizer is not ideal as it's expensive and you're paying a lot for water. But for my grow it's very necessary to lower solution pH into something acceptable. Next week I'm hoping to harvest some young plants in a nearby forest to create a brown sugar fermented plant juice in order to get away from the high nutrition of emulsions. Update day 19 Seems that ZB HATES having it's roots dry. Really needs to be watered almost daily to keep it happy. Strange

More lessons learned. Temps in the tent were hard to keep below 26-27, so I followed the VPD chart to see that early vegging plants can thrive in the 70-75% RH range under those temperatures. They did quite well for a while, and I was seeing some very very promising growth vs. what I had going on in previous weeks. However, they continued to grow closer and closer to my new (and more powerful than my past) LEDs. I was gone for 36hrs and by the time I came back to my plants I noticed widespread light burn on the leaf tips of ALL my plants (helping me eliminate a lot of possibilities).
