3-11-2019 Into week 5 of flower and it's time for a change out of the Nutrients and add some Fresh RO water and Power To Bloom followed 4 days later with some UMP. She takes on a lot of feedings and running the RO water has been a daily task. She looks good and producing well. Buds have been close to the light with no burn so far, keep bending them down against their will every now and then.

This week went pretty well for my sour diesel auto. She Finally stopped growing vertically at about 48 inches to the top of the highest cola. We did have a serious heatwave and high humidity I been dealing with as well, but so far so good. The only thing I changed this week with nutrients is I raised my ec value to 1.6, at the advice of another grower, and the sour diesel took it like the piglet that she is. I am still on an 18/6 light cycle,which I plan to stay with the entire grow, and still feeding Maxibloom, calmag, and koolbloom. I am seeing some bright orange colored spots on the top leaves, but I am hoping it is just a little light bleaching. I have no experience with this as I have NEVER grown anything indoors before other than vegetable seedlings. the girl went out into nature, although the weather is not very suitable for them yet, but I think she will manage perfectly :) I will visit them once a week :).

This plant looks absolutely fantastic, great development in this 4 weeks, she has big leaves and she's ready to get big!! She'll be Transplanted and trained very very soon, can't wait!! 🤤🔝👨‍🌾

Thank you for reading! By the end of last week I finally had the light up to 100% power. I noticed a bit of curling on my one plant afterwards but I need to soldier on with it all the way up as the other plants are eating it up and loving it. I guess this isn't a true scrog, but I will continue to weave the buds and stems in and out of the net to try and keep as even of canopy as possible. I continue to remove lower offshoots to the nodes and I am really trying to focus just on sites that are getting enough light to make a decent nug. The tent is filling out nicely and I am loving it! If I touch the flowers to bend them under the scrog, my fingers STINK like a beautiful fruit. I can't wait to try this out and I am getting excited. I will continue to use the same nutrient solution mix for this week. As of 17 Nov I am starting to water 2x daily using the formula for 3part GHE listed in the picture above. After 12 hours I can see the 3 gal containers are pretty much dry from the last daily watering. Up to now I was watering everyday once (to runoff 2x a week to flush any of the excess salts away and allow my roots to stretch out a bit). Now that the roots have reached the bottom of the smartpots and fully sticking through, I am going to be watering to runoff at least 5x a week to make sure nothing is building up too much in the later flower weeks. Stem rubs are light lemon cake. Some have no taste. 3 are pretty big, 1 no smell nothing special. One is unwinding twisted root but has tight nodes lots of new growth but no stem rub. They all nice n hairy good immunity some are very fast and nice smell! Culled the two shortest ones after snell n node test they were just nothing special. Down to 3 with one lanky one small nodes but hairy n good smell gonna give her a week n see.

Not sure exactly when she finished I believe around 3 weeks more than stated. Again this lady too everything I had to offer, always stood proud and tall and gave me no troubles at all! A pleasure to grow and one I will run again in the future.

Sour wiz came out amazing. Not many problems during her grow. Each pheno came out really different but that’s from my doing. I trained each plant differently to see what the difference would be. Responds really well to stress and training. I can’t tell you in words how great the flowers are. They’re literally coated in trichomes and smell and taste so damn good. Fruity sweet gasoline. No change in fertilizing behavior I performed lollipopping today, as the plant started to shed leaves that did not get enough light on its own Plants look splendid and have also handled the pruning well I hope that the stretch will calm down by the end of next week otherwise I will have problems but as I said everything is tip-top so far If you notice things that I can do better, do not hesitate to tell me, Thanks for stopping by and see you next week :)

Corn fed. Day 17. - The ghetto CO2 generator did it's thing! They all exploded yesterday. I fed this morning @ full strength (1mL/L) Green Buzz Organig Grow Liquid, with about 1.5tsp molasses, and 1mL of Bokashi EM Juice (not bokashi tea, but the EM inoculant). After feeding I tied up and down. Ponytails for the top fan leaves, to expose the bottom nodes. And stakes to get the bottom nodes a bit more horizontal. Super Critical was the girl who got seriously droopy after the first round of LST. I'm fairly certain I ripped a few roots. But she bounced back fast AF, and is looking sensational. I bumped up the smell in my diary to 'strong'. It's not flower smell yet, but the veg smell is reeking. A friend noticed it as soon as I opened my vent-room door. But the good news is that she said she couldn't smell anything before then. When I open the tent, it's so strong that it's dank already. Again, not a flower smell...but I've never smelled a stronger veg-oder than these. Nobody could ever convince me that yeast is futile or too much work. The growth from day 16-->17 was simply mind-blowing. I'm expecting more tomorrow, after the heavy feeding today. Day 20. So...some news. Yesterday I got the new fan. Freaking sweet- screw that clip on fan nonsense. And today, I've been busy. Non-tent related... I put together a worm farm. So I'm hoping for castings in a few months. Fed the bokashi bucket. I've had a problem with fungus flies (look like gnats, but live in soil). Elsewhere, notice that this falls under 'Non-tent related' :D. So I removed the top inch of soil in that houseplant, sprayed a soapy water mixture and covered with 1.5 inches of sand. I'm including this here, because I was terrified that those dudes would somehow find their way to my tent (on the other side of the house). But I think I've seen the last of them. Tent related... I watered with a nice castings tea that brewed for about 24 hours. I hope I didn't f*ck up. I hit GG and Strawberry Cheesecake with it before I pH'ed it down. So they got dosed at around 7.6. I went back to them and hit them with a cup of pH'ed tea (6.5). Then the light cut off, and it was their bedtime. I had to wait for LST until after their nap. But while they were on black out, I got a package. Some dope-AF smartplugs. I can now control my LED, my exhaust, and my air mover from my phone. There's a built in digital timer where I can schedule on/off's. And it *measures* my usage! :D How cool is that?! Welcome to the space age. I also got a USB microscope, which is also badass. So look for pics from that in the coming weeks... Later when the light went back on (courtesy of my new smartplug!) I went back and did LST and pics for today.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. The white widow is still smaller than the rest but she is looking good. She is back row center. Gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. Been pulling some leaves here and there to keep budsites open. Going to keep spreading her out as she grows. Will switch them to flower in a week.
