D29: Pistils are clearly showing now. She's looking really good and vigorous. I did notice a (very) small number of brown pistils. Might be from being a little bit careless while doing LST and toching it with the iron wire, could that be? Or could there something else going on? Speaking of LST, from now on I'm going to let the main cola grow upward again. I kept her really low to give the lower branches enough space, and I think that's the case now. I also tucked away most of the fan leaves that were blocking the light of certain tops. I think I'm going to plant her out in full ground by the end of the week. Temperatures are supposed to be 20+°C then. Any thoughts about that? D31: I decided to let it stay in its current pot, in order not to stress the roots right before flowering. She still keeps on growing every day, still at a surprisingly high pace. Also, I'm tucking away the fan leaves and other leave that are blocking the sunlight from the tops. Tomorrow it's watering time again, right before the start of week 6. Since I'm only watering her after the soil is almost dried out, I'm probably not watering her for another 5-6 days. My question now is what fertilisers I should be adding. There's already 60g of granular 6-3-3 fertiliser in it (added over the past two weeks), so I won't be adding any more of that anymore. I have phosphorous grains (6-16-0), and potassium grains (2-0-20) and I'm wondering if I should already add those potassium grains or just stick with phosphorous grains this time and add potassium grains next watering when it's (probably by then) just started flowering. Any advice?

Ein gesundes neues Jahr allen! Bis auf den Jahreswechsel, ist nicht viel passiert. Die Damen arbeiten fleißig an der Fülle. Beim ersten Trichom Check, zeigt sich das, was mir die Damen auch langsam signalisieren. Der Herbst kommt und in ca 2 Wochen, dürften die Trichome genau den gewünschten Grad haben. Für mich, relativ viele Bernstein farbend. Wobei die LCC etwas mehr als die BPP haben wird. Die PH sollte genau ihren Höhepunkt haben. Wenig klar, der Rest milchig. Nährstoffe werden nun auch nicht mehr geben. Schauen wir Mal wie es weiter geht. 🏻

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. SUMMARY: Its finally time to start the flush and I'm aiming to flush for 2 weeks. I started the flush on day 95 flushing with tap water straight from the hose. I’ve heard you’re supposed to flush with 3x the container volume, however that would be around 57 litres for a 5 gallon pot which seems absurd. I didn’t record the amount but I took my time and flushed with at least 30 litres. I am now continuing to water twice daily until harvest aiming for 20-30% runoff each time. I water once of a morning around 11:00 giving roughly 2-2.5L and again of an evening around 18:00 giving a further 2.5-3L. DAY 93 ----------- Friday 26th March 18:30 I fed Jesus 3L of late bloom nutes which produced 740ml runoff (25%). [26°C/48%] DAY 94 ----------- Saturday 27th March 18:30 I fed Jesus its last ever feeding, 3L of late bloom nutes which produced 560ml runoff (19%). [26°C/48%] DAY 95 ----------- Sunday 28th March 18:30 I flushed Jesus with tap water straight from the hose. This week we should really see these colas blow up and start stacking really strong. The mixer of 7 hours of sun and 17 hours under my LEDs has really helped my girls grow strong. Nothing compares to good old Mother Nature.
