First glimpse it’s perfect. Now I will cure the buds in a jar

The plants had been a little root-bound before transplanting them into the bigger pots, this showed in a yellowing of the leaves and a slowed growth. During week 5, now in the bigger pots, the plants are recovering quickly. The start to grow in a nice healthy green color and quickly get bigger in size. Since the light-mix has nutrients in it for appr. 2 weeks, I only add a little BIO NOVA Roots and BN-Zym to my 'FLEXITANK' reservoir. After adding the nutrients I measure the ph-value and see its 6,6. That is too high for cannabis-plant on soil, they cannot take up all nutrients at that ph-level. Therefore I use ph-min from BIO NOVA to decrease the value of the 100 liter nutrient solution in my reservoir to ph=6,0. At this ph-level the plants can take up all nutrients they need for a healthy growth. My two SANlight EVO4-120 LED-fixtures are hanging 75 cm above the plants and are tilted inwards by 11 degrees, following the recommendations of the lights manufacturer. The fixtures are dimmed to 60% of power (=1 green light ON on the dimmer) at this stage, so they plants get a nice stretch and grow into bigger plants fast.

the week started with a novelty for me: the appearance of nematodes in my tanks... strange little worms, which gather in the water and move in little spasms (see video 👆) When I started growing, I bought a whole range of products against infestations, paranoid as I was (I'm sure others have experienced this 😅); Among other things, I bought NeemAzal, neem oil in emulsion. So I took a chance. I emptied my tanks, cleaned and dried the bottom, without much conviction as the worms must have been in the coco already. I made a new soup with my fertilizer, adding 20ml of neem per 10 litres. Well, I don't know if it was really the right product, but for the last 5 days there has been no trace of nematodes! The water seems soapy, the grease film is more important than without the neem, but if it takes the small sacrifice of a conscientious cleaning once a week, I'll gladly do it! In any case, my plants are doing absolutely no worse : the first one got its leaves back in 2 days, already forcing me to a small pruning 4 days later, now showing well several colas; I also defoliated the 2nd one for the first time, which produced leaves already bigger than my hand in 2 weeks of life! happy with this hydroponic experience so far 😊

The strain came out amazing very purple an very dense didn't have a very strong smell but deff a nice one got 3 ounces after all said an done

So this week the little gelatocake is on week 8 and is really starting to eat herself now, full of trichomes and smells like tutti fruity chewie sweets. Last week of nutes for her then mollases only. Week 7 for the othere gelatocake and shes starting to fatten up now as well as fade also. Babys have got big since re potting I will.bend them over later. Sherbert mimosa are still taking there time I think they are starting to get bigger 🤔🤣 I Will keep you updated lol. Happy growing guys 👌💪💚

Two phenotypes - one purple and one white/green. The purple was very difficult to train and resulted in a couple inadvertent breaks - luckily it was repairable. The other trained very well, very flexible and worked very good for SCROG. Both produced heavily and are beautiful. The purple tends to be much more fluffy, with very long pistil hairs - the longest of any grow I have done. The white was super dense, very crystally and sticky. It will be very interesting to see how they smoke. Also, the purple tended to do very well with some nute mistakes I made as well as fluctuating pH in my water feeding. The white did not do as well in this regard but was able to get to harvest fine. Wet bud weight is prior to trimming. The buds off of these plants were HUGE!!!! Plant #1: (Purple): Wet weight - 76.58oz prior to trim; 15 colas; Terps: White - 60%, Clear - 20%, Amber - 20% Plant #2: (White): Wet weight - 71.65oz prior to trim; 16 colas; Terps: White - 70%, Clear - 30%, After 3 days of drying, took them down to trim for my jars. After a few hours filled mostly quart jars 3/4 full but also tried an Infinity jar and a gallon mason jar to minimize the number of smaller jars. Dry weights into jars: Plant #1: 14.79 oz Plant #2: 11.76oz I did pull them after a day to dry rack them for 12 hours due to a little bit higher moisture content then I would have liked ( 70%rH). Re-jarred on 6/1/23 and now holding steady at around 60% rH. Cure Check In (Week 2): 6/10 - 6/12/23: rH ~ 63 - 66%. Daily air exposure & fanning. Very smelly. Looking good - another couple weeks and will be ready.

Budding coming along nice, frost is also starting to form on the sugar leaves.

Packing on the trichs now, all expressing their own tings. The cherries Jubilee has a great bud structure nice and dense but has lots of packed in sugar and fan leaves sticking out of the colas. Looks nice but is a bit detrimental to the lower stuff. I’ve defoliated but it really is dense and awkward to trim, so I’ve kinda left it.

Start of week 5 for White Widow Shes still getting bushier & bushier! Its really making me debate whether to defoliate some more...but greenhouse told me not to? 😂 Ive sent them an update video so lets see if they change their mind. Still feeding her every day from the bottom.

21.11 Middle of the last week i start to saw that plants are giving sings on soon harvest(pistons darker color, curled in bud, trichomes (big transparent-cloudy, middle cloudy-amber , small also transparent-cloudy) From yestrday they are in rest and dark mode Didnt do water flushing becuse i am using bio nutrients, last watering 18.11 Environment in tent is solid now without light,lower temperature( 0-5°) and more humidity(50-55%) ,so thats good I will wake them up soon, but need to wake up myself in morning also😴 Gn 🥦🍀💚💆‍♂️ 23.11 After 71 day of which two days in darknes , looking for 40-45% humidity and solid temp 20-25 i did cutting part and take them in more darknes, for drying 😁🤤 24.11 Situation in tent is how i want, becuse of the smell in room is colder then it should be so humiditiy is bit lower ( now 47-51%) but temp is also low ,i hope that will do solid exchange with not drying to fast becuse of lower temp, they look more frosty after few days in dark, smell is better and more aromatic, but i guess when you grow in tent, it could not be intense smell like outside, on constant fresh air,condtitions in real time, but its good, checking every day situation with buds, 24/7 good good air flow in all directions , ifan and carbon filter also doing solid good job with killing smell thats going down the pipe outside. Whole run was very good and i didnt have much problems or questionable situation, setup from mars hydro did well and equipment didnt make any problems in work, nice amount of watts for 3 plants, good size of tent to work normaly, from 1 place reach everything you want, and yea biobizz soil and nutriens also show up quality and results, with good dosing of nutrients and accurate ph level, resault was there. I also see flaws and thing that i could do better, but in total i am proud on me for doing my first grow, think that this change perspective about lighting buds and enjoying them. Ginger Nut Cookies and Aussie music videos week six Thursday 6th feb 2020 Hi Growers well I decided to bite the bullet and attempt some LST and topping , I gently bent it over and tied each branch down to a predrilled hole in the pot with some soft wire. I then topped each node that was showing. If any one has any extra tips or advice on how I should go about my training I would welcome it as I am still learning . This girl is definately showing some Indica dominant characteristics about her and looks nice and healthy. I will continue to train the branches as they grow and tuck fan leaves that block light . Now for the Music Videos ###### This Week I chose two songs from two different Music Videos and two different artists both spreading the message about Reconciliation and land rights for our Indigenous Brothers and sisters here in Australia . This is something I feel is very important and is still a major issue over 200 years later. Environment and Conditions Tent: 3x3, kept spotless to ensure the best possible growing environment. Lighting: ViparSpectra P2000, continuing to provide the perfect spectrum for our flowering ladies. Watering: TDS at 420, pH 6, and water temperature at 21°C, keeping everything balanced and consistent. Nutrient Regimen We’ve made a critical adjustment to our feeding schedule this week: TopBooster: Phased out as we shift focus. P-Boost: Cut from the mix as we near the final stages of flowering. K-Boost: Increased to provide that crucial potassium boost, ensuring maximum bud density and potency. This tweak in our regimen is aimed at enhancing the final development of our buds, making them as dense and potent as possible. Growth and Development The PCRs continue to fill out the tent, with their buds growing denser and more aromatic by the day. The increased K-Boost has given them that extra push, and the results are clear – we’re seeing some seriously impressive bud formation and trichome development.
