Hey Guys, Growth has taken off a lot this past week, have had to add a heater to the grow which isn’t ideal but with warmer months coming this should only be temporary. I have the thermostat set to start the heater when temps go below 23°c. Watching Dr Bruce Bugbee on YouTube, he stated that growth does start to suffer below this temperature. One of the plants has some odd colours and growth which I’m pretty sure is Mg deficiency, which is probably due to that particular girl being more sensitive to PH swings than the rest of the ladies. I have had to insulate some of the circulating pipes as the water cooler was struggling to keep the water baths cool. Seems to have helped keep temps down a couple more degrees, I mate have to reconfigure where my water cooler is in the piping run after this grow Finally a special thanks to the GD team for selecting my previous diary for DOTM, very flattering considering some of the great content that was submitted for March 2020! Cal-med 1ml/L Top dressed a sprinkle of Gaia green dry amendments (power bloom). I was away for new years and it was underwatered along with the others, but I don't see much scope for improvement 😂 side by side in the tent is this guy and another of the same seed (critical +2.0). The difference between the two was expected but still astounding!

So Tuesday will be the end of week 8 of flower these are mostly ready to take but I’m gonna wait a few more days. I like a bit more amber than most.

Herrrrro gang! Welcome to another week of Daank's grow! 8/2: Brought back the Great White. I was reading that it works well in conjunction with other root excelurators, like Rapid Start. I got 2 more temp/humidity sensors for the tent. It allows me to keep track of 100% of what is really going on, I find it to take away worry (b/c temps are very important!). Today was a "eureka!" moment in terms of understanding run-off pH and it's value to telling the grower how healthy the plant is and what nutes may, or may not, be needed. I also got some new LED glasses so I don't burn my fucking corneas when tending to the garden - they are phenomenal and I suggest them if you grow with an LED. Check the videos and photos. Pistils are growing rapidly and baby budlets are starting to form. I'm actually getting a nice subtle purple color - it's very neat. Today's run-off pH was 6.3, and I gave it 6.3 for water - so that's a good sign (I bounce the pH all around from 5.5-6.3). I'll keep track of this moving forward in the diary. Minor defoliation. ***Pro-Tip: If you're wondering what the run-off should be... around +.5/-.5 of what you put in is good. By the end of this week I assume we'll be in full swing. Day 39: I have ordered new nutes, Advanced Nutrients. The reviews, photos, and research all point to using this for the best results. I found them to be a bit expensive, but if I can always get perfect pH values without much of a hassle... I'm down. They will be here by end of the week and I'll transition that over this weekend. I can't wait. Day 40: 8/6 - Advanced Nutrient nutes arrive today. Watering will be a pleasure. The plants look great. The buds are real. Small smell. Trimmed last night quite a bit for bud production. They love George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue". It perks 'em up.

The plant seems to grow very slowly so lots of vegging time will be very beneficial for this one overall health smell and looks are doing fine and the plan seem to enter flowering stage and it's starting to create the beginnings of the buds. Day 44 the plant is very bushy and today I have to trim some more fan leafs a bit more mostly in the centre area of the plant so that I can encourage maximum light penetration. Kinda left the diary forgotten but hopefully for the next ones i should be more consistent.

These 8 plants had a vegetative period of 3 months and grown organically, these ladies had a lot of training and came out beautifully except 1 plant which was both over and under watered. I don't seem to understand why these plants are not smelly at all literally there is no smell, not while in vegetative stage and nor in flowering, don't know is this a bad or good thing while trichomes are clearly visible at day 7 of flowering.

Good growth on them little bit of nutrients burn on the northern lights. Won’t get much out that small one but I just couldn’t let it go

First week in flower, took some cuts before flip. Moved into a short 2x2 for a stress test.

Week 8 +-, She got another cleanup, removing lower leaves and branches. I always keep the lower third of my plants clean, especially with hydro plants it helps with ariation. Feeding is still the same as before, no changes, its just a case of refill the res every 3 days +- and change and clean res every 7 days roughly. This rythm will continue till we hit a later stage of flower where we will add Green Sensation.

Day 61 of flower 🌼 today. On Day 59 I used koolbloom one last time along with a dose of recharge. Going forward I'll only use the Ripen this week and allow the flushing out to continue. Rainbow cake is almost finished and looking great. The listed flower time is 68 days, so we're definitely getting close. The fan leaves are really green still so there's definitely some more flushing needed. Pineapple express is flushing at a faster rate than the other 2 plants. I recon it's the size difference. Flower time is listed at 56 days but it's not showing finished yet. Buds still have a lot of white pistols and a lot of clear tri. Hopefully she'll be good in around 10 days. London mint cake is doing well. Flower time is listed at 60 days. Tri is 50 percent cloudy and 10 days of flushing out will put her ready right on time. Thanks for checking my diary everyone.
