New flowering continues to develop on this lady, she seems to be swelling up day by day. Yellowing of the fan leaves has started which usually means it's time to flush, I need to check the trichomes to see how amber they appear before I do just in case the flavour or yield could be effected.

Flowering day 18 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) The ladies have recovered well from the cold thanks to the heating mat and have developed beautifully 👍. During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately 👍. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water and put into the 100 liter tank so that the water can stand and I'll have enough next week :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned. So this grow is slowly going to finish. Most of the trichromes have turned milky and the first signs of amber are starting to show. The ladies have been fattening up and the nuggets are looking pretty frosty. The girls are stinky and sweet. Switching to the automated watering has made a huge difference. The girls are starting to slow down on water uptake and the leaves are starting to fade. The ladies all look quite different with 2 very distinct pheno types showing. One pheno of a short plant with lots of orange hairs and very dense nuggets. The other pheno is very tall with more white hairs and fluffier bud structure. I will harvest these ladies within the next 2 weeks, depending on how the trichromes develop. I have been using Plagron Green Sensation to help bud development. An Blütetag 75 fand sie ihr Ende. Am Vortag entlaube ich immer schon und sobald das Licht aus ist ziehe ich den Stecker. Am nächsten Tag ein paar Stunden nachdem das Licht normal angegangen wäre schneide ich sie dann ab und hänge das was ich mir raussortiere in den Trockenschranck. Der Rest muss leider auf den Kompost... Da blutet einem immer das Herz...

This week was a little late due to the holiday. This is the week RSQ Wedding Cake flipped to flower. I accidentally super cropped her when trying to bend a branch over. After that she started drinking a whole lot more (hence the underwatered pictures)

Week 8, the last feed! Defoliated to let more air flow and light penetrate down into the lowers of the plant. Bud's are smaller than i expected at this stage, but they'rr sticky, plant is covered in frost, the pics don't do it justice.

Just look at those buds! She's showing some beautiful colors, and displaying a lot of frost. She continues to he very thirsty, taking about 1.5L every day. No problems at all this week. In fact. I will be a bit sad to see her go. That said. I put her in 48 hours of darkness to finish her off.

Both plants have almost stopped growing in heigth now and are in full flowering mode now. Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) Plant #1 is 15 cm shorter than plant #2, but a little bushier. Both have grown very well and are strong and healthy. They get more and more flower clusters now and start to fill up all branches. Trichomes start to appear all over...the plants start to get sticky and develop a weak sweet aroma now. Its time to take off the biggest fan leaves now for defoliation, I took a round of pics before and after.

Its week 5 of flowering now(week 10). Smell is quite gassy/strong terpene. Nutrients are still same.

As always it's just a pleasure to grow this sativa dominant strain which definitely reminds me of a great indica with her extremely fruity and tropical sweet terpenes, very happy to have her in my garden and to be able to smoke such a high quality strain once again, hope you guys have enjoyed as much as me!

Day 92. Few more days for last Alaskan Diesel , amazing strain ! While chopping first two I ripped small bud and yesterday I tried it - piney, eucalyptus sweet diesel flavour ! Loved it ! Green Cracks getting frosty and calaxies start to form and fattening up ! So I think 2-3 weeks from now. Northern Lights are way behind, but smallest plant becomes a frosty tower ! Day 93. Last Alaskan Diesel is down. All info on strain harvest week . Rest keep going, think two weeks is max for Green Cracks. Happy Growing !!!

This lady is one hardy girl! Bud sites are already getting super dense and frosty. Bud sites sway from the shear weight like morning star maces. From the gentle breeze of my oscillating fans. Will need to teat them and kill em all off if possible. The thrips are also outdoors on some of my plants, I feel they came from the bagged promix I got or they overwintered and travelled indoors. Light was a bit to strong at 100% when i grew taller, turned it down to 80%ish now till it starts to blooms. currently at 45cm hang height, Tent is having some issues with cooling down, even running the extractor is not doing much, so I prop the door open at the top and it helps vent it out. Maybe because of the vents the air is not circulating though and just travelling up one side of the tent, IDK. its a waste to run it past setting 5 on a 2x2 so the door will stay propped indefinitely. Still no smells unless I'm rubbing them, no signs of flower just yet, temped to top or LST but I think I'm going to let them go as is and get a good gauge on how they grow and yield.
