Still having this weird potassium lockout. Some new growth is burned/spotted. Very confusing situation I don’t know wether to back off the feeding a little. Wouldn’t the plant just leach the potassium rich coco and burn it more? This isn’t a huge issue for me right now but I’d like to find out what is causing this. non buffered, coarse coco

Seeds were inside a glass of water for 2 days and then in a paper towel until they were long enough to be planted in soil. The soil is a light soil, I think is Top Crop. I added a little of mycorrhyzal fungi to the light soil with another little of trichoderma powder and diatomaceus earth. I also added some well cocco coir and that was it. With this gentle mix the medium of this babies will be just fine. In the first irrigation I'll add a bit of molasses like top candy to feed our micro friends and a root stimulator like top deeper.

Flowering day 18 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) The ladies have recovered well from the cold thanks to the heating mat and have developed beautifully 👍. During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately 👍. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. This week the plants got very bushy and wide. Stopped using Root Juice and Used Recharge microbes for the first time one day out of the week. LST also began this week. I noticed separate issues on two of the plants on their 21st day; the girl on the right showed some yellow color in some of the tips of the new growth at the top of the plant, while the girl in the middle had low hanging leaf tips which look burned / discolored. I think I might be over-watering. I'll confirm all of their soil is completely dry with my a moisture meter before watering next time.

Day 14 F and i went for full defoliation, lets see how they react. Today 7/30/19, day 57 and the start of week 9. I'm still continuing to alternate between days with my pesticide treatment (especially after finding that bug living on one of hulkberries fan leaf) and thrive alive green daily foliage spray as a prophylactic solution against any possible pests or mold going into these last few dog days of veg. I will flush them with distilled ph'd water for two days this weekend in preparation for flower. Then I'll start them on some "flower fuel" bloom booster on top of my secret for success flower recipe at 1/4 of the recommended strength. Outside of that still no adverse issue to report for the end of the 8th week. After my last trim, they both have responded very nicely, I was kind of worried about fat banana stalled growth. But one thing I noticed when I topped her at the 6th node, yes the main stem stopped growing but it developed many bud sites up and down every stem. Whereas hulkberry was topped at the 8th node, she has mainly focused on developing long stems and only 2 or 3 bud sites along her stems. Even though hulkberry in structure, is much bigger than fat banana and has a way bigger root system. Fat banana is bushier and has developed way more bud sites than hulkberry. I can't tell which strain will yield the most at this point only time will tell! Also, a big shout out to "J"@RQS, thank you for the excellent customer service. Another reason why Royal Queen Seeds is top 3 in breeding!!

Cant take my eyes off my plant. This is my second round of growing and I am the type of person who learns through failure (not gonna upload the pics of the first round plants lol). The buds are thickening up very nicely. Hoping to get between 3-4oz , the strain is high yielding but I have a smaller tent. My auto yielded 2oz with the same space (2 plants in one tent splitting the space), but the buds definitely didn't develop as well as these buds.

- WEEK 8 - ----- Day 50 ----- Woo hoo. End is in sight and the plants are still PACKING the pounds on. Big Bertha is 11 inches long, 2 inches wide. The hidden massive Gertha is 8 inches in circumference in the middle in just bud alone and isn't even the largest part of this 8 inch long nug... Fed 1150ppm 13L 6.4pH 5-15+ days left. 2-4 days till I start looking into trichome finish period. Forgot to take a regular full shot and shots of tropicanna glookies. oh well. Later tonight if I remember. I stopped bud candy cause I'm using a lot more molasses and its literally a sugar in itself so why put in bud candy which is just sugars... seems redundant. ----- Day 51 ----- Easy day of watching. Some nice bud shots today. The whole basement smells of weed candy. Back right Tropicanna is pineapple gummy bear, front right is just gummy bear. Wedding Cake is like sweet weed, you get the regular smell of pot but instead of skunky its sweet but that Tropicanna is just alllll candy no weed smell at all. I did the first 60x shot today. 5% cloudy 95% clear on the Tropicanna. Long ways to go. I'll be doing the Wedding Cake later tonight, got side tracked. ----- Day 52 ----- Fed 1200ppm 6.4ph 12 Liters Tropicanna Glookies is going full blown purple. Should be covered in dark purple coloration within the week. Wedding Cake is just fat. Super fat large nugs. Easy day. Forgot to take trichome pics of Wedding Cake will do that later today probably. Well, the largest bud is 1 foot in circumference now... rofl ----- Day 53 ----- Easy day. Fed some water, they're getting thirsty again. I'm going to do a 13L feeding , then next day 5L water. So that's what I did today. I'll be dropping the Kool Bloom Powder & CaliMagic by day 56 and only feed 1/2 strength molasses only. Will pick the buds off as they finish, not gonna do 1 big chop unless it manages to turn out that way. Colors are going wild. Will check Wedding Cake & Tropicanna trichomes before lights out will update pics then. ----- Day 54 ----- 1300ppm 13L 6.4ph fed Here's some pics. Wedding Cake is nowhere near ready by the trichomes. Barely any cloudy, no amber. ----- Day 55 ----- Tropicanna really turning purple now starting to infect the leaves at top of canopy. Can't wait for what Day 63 holds for all these ladies. Not going to check trichomes till probably day 58 Easy day, last fert feed with chemical nutrients tomorrow, after that its just molasses. ----- Day 56 ----- Didnt even bother with ppm/pH. Molasses. roughly 30-50ml in 13-15 Liters. Smoked a tester of the Tropicana Glookies (Sativa) God daaaamn. Shits fire. Extremely strong. Very Cerebral and its not even at its peak yet... I've chosen Tuesday as Harvest day for both Tropicana Glookies plants (they're clones of each other) A single Wedding Cake testing nug is drying right now, I'll judge when it gets harvested based on the high, and if not sufficiently near my level i'll give it 2 days before drying another nug and trying again. I want heavy ass couch-lock. 6 days for Tropicana. Probably 8 for Wedding Cake. Will send samples off to Canvas Labs for testing like I've done in the past and will be making both edibles and bubble hash and will post those here as they happen. Once thats done I will see if I can restart veg mode in this grow, and if so I will keep this going until the plants die (and just make side diaries for each individual plant variety grow). Slowly continuing on haha. Very light smell coming from it but i had a look at trichs and think its time to start winding down towards no nutes. Colas are not very large or dense but there are quite a few due to the topping so eager to see total weight.

With this being my fourth grow...I’ve realized the best way to germinate cannabis seeds is by sprinkling it in the Grow medium and just watering daily...let seed sink as opposed to letting it soak in water which worked for me before but it takes away the dangers of transferring the seeds from a glass of water to soil. 1 year ago this January I germinated my first grow and I had a good harvest because of the dry season stepping in the Caribbean...I am definitely looking forward to a fine grow with some males and females so I can expand my seed storage.

They are all forming buds but only #2 is green like I want to , the 2 others are pale ------- Day 60 - I made a short video to show them how they looks when they are outside from the tent. The #3 have a light burn due to the nights under 150w how. The soil I used was a regular gardening soil from the local store but It's astonishing how heavy this soil is even when It's dry bit when drying the surface becomes hard like rocks ( more than usual ) ------- Day 61 - Due to the rain I did not not them out today , I think it's the second time it happens and I hope it will stop soon because they are clearly too high and whatever the position I choose their is always one leaf touching the HID bulb 😒 I also made a short video to show you the box , I have add an extra 10w white light spot under the canopy and a 7w full spectum bulb under just because I had them at home , it wasn't planned at all.

8/6/21: Harvest Day!! We'll update the week to "harvest" once everything is dried..My camera scope broke somehow so we're back to using cheap jewelers loupes for now but trichs look completely milky, a few amber spots closer the bud's base, we didn't flush as long as we wanted but I felt it was good to get her chopped down before the heatwave and space is becoming a real issue again... we dry in cardboard boxes, in a room controlled to 65F...we don't usually get bud weights, as its all for personal use but ill try my hardest to get an accurate dry weight before my husband smokes it all lol...Thank you for reading and happy growing everyone! 😽❤️💡🌱

420Fastbuds FBT2308 Germination Week Time has come yet to start another amazing Tester strain from 420Fastbuds FBT2308. Started germination on 2/7 by soaking the seed in just water for 48hrs then planting it directly in the soil (Roots Organic 707) in a 3gal fabric pot. I spray the top soil with my gallon sprayer keeping it moist for the next week. After 48hrs in the soil we have sprouts that emerged that appear to be healthy and happy. All in all Happy Growing
