Managed to sex out the males this week, especially since the girls were putting out some pre-flower pistils. Moved others around a little using my potato fork and now everyone is in a much better spacing. Bummer that 2 out of 3 were males, but that's ok! The ladies that are left will have more room to stretch. I gave them a little Big Bloom and some molasses.

Deep Forest is still bulking. She is growing slowly and is not showing any brown pistils yet. Which is good. She can get as fat as she wants. I have been super excited with everything up to this point . I have made all my preparations that I think need to be made and did some trial runs on my environment. I starting preparing around the 15th of January and my set up was complete around the 19th of February. I spaced my purchases out based on budget constraints. I wanted a cheap and efficient grow area. Some thing I paid more for because through all the research I did I felt quality was more important. If you are as excited as I was, you get pretty anxious when awaiting order status when you first order your seeds. You should remember you are ordering from an online seed bank not amazon. Most work Monday - Friday and are in a complete different time zone. I ordered my seeds from seed supreme Seedbank. I placed my order on 31 January and mailed money as directed. This was the scariest part for me especially when I didn’t hear anything back. I finally received a email on the 12th if February saying my invoice was paid and then subsequently mailed out on the 15th and I received on the 20th. One thing I would like to note that recommend to anyone mail cash is to make sure you spend the extra cash and track your payment. Day 2 - 2/24/19: Nothing new to report no activity on the surface, misted watering at 5.8 PH. Day 3 - 2/25/19: Plant number 1 which had the longest tap root broke the surface I started a time lapse on it to cover the first moments of birth 😭 daddy is already so proud lmao. I have another light watering today with my humidity domes on, the intent is to have the plants roots work to get the required water and hopefully promote root growth. I also added 1ml of Rapid start and diluted into 1 gal. Day 4 - 2/26/19: Checked the status this morning prior to work and two more have reached the surface only two more remaining which I suspect will reach by the time I make it home from work. Misted this morning pot was looking pretty dry with the exception of the humidity domes, which I removed on all the sprouted seedling. I intend on shifting to a 20 on 4 off cycle and starting my other fans. Day 5 - 2/27/19: All five plants have broke the surface. I did a normal watering this am still utilizing the dome to avoid watering on top of the plants. I lowered the light again some of the early sprouters we stretching a little more than I wanted and appeared leggy to me. Day 6 - 2/28/19: Nothing really to report today. Excited for the name reveal tomorrow. I did a light watering. I played around with my ppm meter and ec I definitely plan on using in conjunction with my first feeding this weekend. Day 7 - 3/1/19: Was watering this morning normal levels. I also mixed a new feed to be ready for them tomorrow. While I was watering # 5 fell over I accidentally tipped it with the spout. I grabbed some left over soul to help prop it up hopefully she is ok.

Easy harvest she did well despite being heavily affected by the gnats in seedling/early veg. Strong strain guys but it did hurt her More after dry

Day 70: Brain Cake seemed thirsty and wanting more nutrients: Topped off water yesterday, added +3ml of hyro A&B and +1ml of power roots & pure enzyme. EC went from 0.8 -> 1.0 Day 71: Brain Cake is showing symptoms, many top leaves have deformed tips and light interveinal chlorosis starting on opposite end of the tip and dark interveinal chlorosis at the end of the tip. EC is 0.8-0.9 (not very accurate meter :/ ) Not sure whether this is a nutrient deficiency or excess/lockout. The ph has been between 5.6 and 6.5 most of the time the past week, the reservoir change was 4-5 days ago. Plagron indicates to give more hydo A&B in proportion to their roots and enzyme nutrients in the first weeks of flowering (during veg these are given in proportion), so maybe these new problems are due to the different balance of nutrients that I may have times wrongly. Finally the problems may be due to the water reservoirs holding approx 12 liters in practice and the Brain Cake drinks approx 2-3.5L a day so maybe the water res is very unstable but after a day the PH usually remains in range and the EC usually drops a bit the first day after adding nutrients and stays pretty stable the rest of the week. Any suggestions are more than welcome! Day 72: Yesterday evening made an upgraded reservoir for the Brain Cake dwc (as we suspect the leaf problems may be due to instable water because of small res and roots nearly completely filling the res). Now the Brain Cake is in a 60L box with approx 32L of water, EC set to 1.0 and ph 5.7-6.5. She seems to be happy, nice and perky this morning. FYI the roots seem more orange in the video! They are on the white side though, just a bit of stain from the nutrients but looking very good overall.

1-Starting the week strong, plant is looking good. Not sure if the buds should be bigger or not but according to the strain it’s a 70-80 days flowering time so I still have plenty of time to see those buds fattening up. 2-Added 75W full spectrum LED to increase quality of pictures. In my opinion, totally worth it. Got to see my plant from a different light was amazing. Everything is looking good and the soil is still slightly moist. Probably water tomorrow. Separated all the branches to allow more light to penetrate the middle of the plant. 3-Soil completely dry, water plant with flowering nutrients. The smell seems to be a little stronger today. 4,5,6-No major changes.

This week is sunny 🌞 . Started giving Big bud. Watering 2-3 liters per plant.

Her flowers are continuing to bulk up and are covered in glistening trichomes. I watered today with 1.5g of de-chlorinated water which was then ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ turned her pot and shot a few pictures of her. 10/6- Today I watered her with 1.5g of her usual straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's definitely starting to fade, is still stacking her flowers, bulking up and has an incredible amount of trichomes which I'm beginning to monitor daily. 10/8- The routine of watering every other day continues like clockwork. Yesterday was a 'no water' day and I did a basic check over of the plant, removed a couple of yellowed lower leaves and turned her pot. Today she got the usual 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that's ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and had her pot turned. I've also begun to check her trichome development with a digital USB microscope to try to identify the ideal harvest time which will be in the next week +/-. 10/10- Well, Week Eight has come, gone and has been a trial once again of my patience! She's so freaking frosty that I've wanted to chop her several times but, I know from experience, good things come to those who wait... then wait a bit more. I anticipate that she'll be ready by the end of this coming week, and I can't wait! I've cut the wattage back on the HLG 650R to 500w at the wall now to simulate the way that sunshine becomes weaker as fall approaches due to the lower angle of the sun in the sky. This helps outdoor plants to know that winters on the way and they need to hurry up and complete their life cycle. Cutting the wattage back creates the same effect on the indoor plants, especially when coupled with lowered temperatures in the tent. I have also noticed that her water uptake has slowed. After her heavy watering on the 8th, her pot still had some weight to it and she was looking great so I went ahead and skipped watering her today, watering her tomorrow at lights on with her usual. Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas Gorilla Melon de FastBuds. Por dónde empezar, las flores son bien compactas y van repletas de resina son muy pegajosas, tienen tonos verdes bonitos, y tiene unos aromas dulces y exóticos bastante marcados con toques terrosos. Es muy sencilla de cultivar, es de ciclo de 2 meses y medio, pero bien agradecida, tiene buenos satélites, de las que plante de fastbuds, podría decir que mi favorita hasta el momento. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

week 9 was another great easy week she is growing like a champ I think I'm in 😍 💘.. Hoping for no hitches from here till harvest shouldnt be to hard

back from holidays and the Quick one has grown so much more than doubled in size since last week! most leaves are fine but some are weird shaped and dark coloured leaves? any advice is appreciated. have fun growing! Day 19 update, flushed the quick one as it had a nitrogen toxicity from being overfed when i was away. still growing new leaves but very droopy from all the water in the medium. Day 20: Posting pictures to show progress! new node appeared, leaves are still full of water and a friend said to let them recover and dry out. il leave all plants for another 3 days before feeding anything :) fingers crossed for harvest time.

I harvested 226 grams of dried and trimmed bud plus a bunch of trim and popcorn buds that I didn’t weigh. Definitely had it's ups and downs with my pet rabbit eating one of my plants in the first few weeks :( One of my girls also didn't make it to the end, I must of overfed her at one point and the stress was too much. This amount of buds though will keep me and my friends happy for a long time though! Thank you to all those that helped with making my first grow a success! I certainly learned a lot & can't wait to do it all again - for now I've been enjoying smoking the buds and making edibles :D It took me a few hours to trim all the buds. I didn't measure the wet weight of the plant as I hung the whole thing up to dry as soon as the lights came off. The roots were plentiful and healthy. Even my girlfriend tried smoking with me for the first time ever and she loved it!!!

ALL of the color came back, I removed the last of the yellow leaves and will feed the plant one last round of Gaia green power bloom before flushing. About a month left.
