Aug 31: now done six weeks of flowering. Started force flowering by putting her in the dark garage for 10 h plus two hours of bonus darkness by using a 730 nm far red light at dusk as a bloom booster. After three weeks of moving in and out of garage I’ve just been using the red light at dusk. I use Civil Twilight as listed on dateandtime.com for my location. Civil Twilight is getting earlier by about 3 min per night and will be at 9 pm tonight. Awesome plant should be 2-3 weeks to finish and the weather forecast is perfect for next two weeks. Should be a strong finish, and we’re still in August. Awesome. Sep 1: flowers are huge and progressing quickly. The top buds seemed to change colour a bit today. Overnight temperatures are still above 10 C so no purple colour showing yet. Maybe right at the end in a couple of weeks she’ll show some extra colour. Sep 3: buds are getting big, dense and sticky. Perfect. Sep 4: flash pics are okay if using the 730 nm far red light right after. If you don’t have a red light, don’t take flash pics of your photoperiod plants. Nice big buds are quite hard too. Mandarin XL auto has sprouted, and us looking good. She is getting acclimated to the substrate, and roots should be seeking nutrition soon. She will be in the organo-mineral Gen1:11 nutrition. So WHY is this auto taking so damn long to mature??? Is this normal? It's my first hydro grow, but my wife's soil grow started after mine (more than a week) + was grown in the exact same room .... but has been harvested over the past TWO weeks. Thoughts? Not much needed doing this week. Did a huge trim mid week that was posted to a mid week update in last week's diary entry. She didn't like it at first but then bounced back pretty well. I think I have a very slight touch of nutrient burn on some of the tips, but it could also be a touch dry as we're having a hard time keeping the room over 40% humidity as the outdoor temps here are stupid cold recently. Hoping to harvest in 2 weeks or so.. but could be longer. Urgh. She's a big, bountiful, heat-loving lady that's finally a under a bit of vegetative control... but apparently REALLY likes to take things slow.

2018-04-02. Week 3 day 1. It was time too upgrade the 0.1 liter pot too the 1 liter. Did the transplant today. They are a little bit overwatered but i will let them dry out now. This is the newest release from DinaFem seeds. And i will veg her under a Apollo 10 led and flower her in Growroom Nr2 under a 600 w Hps on a light mover. Its a organic grow and i will be using BioBizz nutrients. Strain information. Purps #1 is a feminized indica dominant strain with outstanding parents, high THC content and with very beautiful flowering. It is the result of crossing between Blueberry and PAK. The plant demonstrates purple and autumn-like colours and produces very intense fruity aromas during blooming. It develops a typically indica structure with wide leaves. It grows up to 1.3-1.5 m tall. The harvest comes after 7 weeks and brings 500 gr/m2 indoor and 600-800gr/plant outdoor. The smoke provides a pleasant feeling of relaxation and very unique bouquet of flavors. The amazing mix of fruits and berries with pineapple notes brings unforgettable senses. Leicht den Überblick verloren. Wurde krank, dann viel Arbeit und keine Zeit gehabt. Die Pflanze hatte zwischendurch mal Probleme, weil ich ihr viel zu viel Wasser gegeben habe und das hat sie locker eine Woche gekostet. Egal, jetzt sieht sie fit aus und geht in die Blüte. Sie hat 1x 100 ml FertiPlus 5-1-5+ bekommen und eine hohe Dosis Pflanzengeflüster, das hat sie wieder auf Kurs gebracht. Trainiert wurde nur durch gezieltes Entlauben einzelner Sonnensegel und mit LST Clips Tag 34: Insgesamt sieht die Pflanze wieder super aus, vielleicht etwas klein fürs Alter. Heute wurde auch stark trainiert.

So things are getting serious! The smell gets stronger and was amazing when I defoliated the plants. The G-13 is forming very nice buds, but the reason it is a bit later than the Strawberry Banana is I accidentally used Strawberry Banana auto, so as soon as the first pistils appeared and I realized what was going on I switched the light schedule to flowering to have it on a similar time. This is also the reason why I started flowering them so small. Looking forward for next week!
