Holy smokes another great week. I could not help myself and my snippy hands trimmed some of the lower larfy flower sites, and interior fan leaves. She exploded in bud production. Dialed back the nutes a bit as she nears the finish line.

Nuggets are heavy and frosty they can go little longer tho still some clear tricomes and white pastilles should be prime next week They are frosty and glittery more every day now so almost ready.

Day 22, 10-2-24: I did some trimming on them today for the first time! They needed some soil added, and I clipped the first 2 nodes and got them looking good! Day 23, 10-3-24: They are absolutely amazing. So vigorous... Great genetics... One of the few genetics companies I've gotten 100% ratios on popping seeds. These ladies are going to be some fine looking ones.. The bigger pot is definitely larger, but oddly, the six inches of soil is bigger than the control five gallon. Didn't expect that but it is what it is 🤷 Day 24, 10-4-24: The leaves on 1 and 2, and it has to be heat. I lifted the aglex 240 w about 6 inches this morning, the lights were reading good, and it doesn't feel hot under the light at their level, so IDK why they are curling. Day 25, 10-5-24: They are continuing to grow steady and robust. They are all generally the same again, and they feel good and flexible. Going to start lst'ing soon. Day 26, 10-6-24: I did some training on #1 and 2. 3, the control, is, lacking. Both more and less soil is doing better than the 5 gal.. 🤷 Life's a garden, dig it? Day 27, 10-7-24: I finally got my room moved around and got my 400 w Aglex in there and I have them at 17 inches from the light at 50% for around a 600ish par. Day 28, 10-8-24: They are growing like crazy! All except the control. #1 and 2 are doing great and are ready to be trained out more. #3 is slowly growing and it's just creeping along...

Hey all! Reminder: MIDDLE PLANT IS GSC #1. BOTTOM LEFT PLANT IS GSC #2. (Bottom right is mystery seed, two in the back are FastBuds Gelato. This diary is only focusing on the GSC plants). WOW wow WOW. I just cannot believe the rate of growth this past week. The girls have just EXPLODED with growth! These girls are definitely turning out to be waaaaay bigger than my last grow of GSC. The big fabric pots are amazing. Unfortunately, half-way through the past week I noticed yellow tips on the leaves. I have been using organic nutrients, but have not given the girls plain water in between any of the feedings. I've been feeding with nutes mostly once a week, but sometimes twice. I think this is definitely a sign of nute burn. So, yesterday, I flushed the plants out twice with plain PH'd water. I hope that has stopped the nute burn in its tracks. The bud sites are just starting to form. The LST that I did seems to be definitely worth it - top bud sites everywhere!! I cannot wait to start seeing some buds bulking up! This week, the plant continued to develop with no major issues. However, signs of a magnesium and calcium deficiency have started to appear, which may require adjustments in the nutrient schedule with Calmag. The plant was watered once with clear, pH-adjusted water to maintain a stable environment. A mild yet distinct aroma has also begun to emerge, hinting at the plant’s unique character as it matures. Overall, growth is progressing well despite the minor nutrient deficiencies.

Harvest is imminent! I'm basically just waiting for her to drink her last watering. So 1-3 days I guess - my last few "finished" plants basically stopped drinking much at the end, and she seems to be the same. But my last post was about a week ago so one more flowering week report! A few days ago I took off some of the brittle taco-ified fan leafs. My guess is they don't do much for photosynthesis anymore and just prevent lower growth from getting light. Upper leafs by now have turned a pretty violet/plum color! I put a leaf from another plant in the picture for comparison.😊 Structurally there is little change since last week. Smell is still incredible too! She is significantly more heavy and the stems seem to be losing the battle against gravity but as she's coming down in a few I'm not gonna go wild with jojos or garden wire.

She started flowering this week yay! Slowly upping the nutrients, have read so much about giving half strength of Fox Farms so I don’t want to over do it. Have a few leaves that have a few spots of discoloration, and I noticed the stems turning a bit purple but overall still really healthy! Overall going well! Going to keep upping the nutrients.

Longer warmer days

2 gallon cocoa drain to waste plant has been harvested now the only one remaining is a 7 gallon DWC in week one of flower. Enjoy to all a food wknd, GHL ☮️

Progressed as expected in the last 7 days. Will be using the Vitalink nutrient range on this grow as their prices are so much lower compared to other nutrient ranges available in the UK and there's a global cost of living crisis thanks to corporate greed, so it will be interesting to see the results when using what they recommend. BTW - This grow should have an asterisk next to "Wedding Gelato" I'm almost 100% sure I haven't mixed the seed up with any other, but can't rule it out entirely. I am stoned all of the time so it's a possibility. I guess we'll find out when she flowers.
