Did a good defol this week and immediately she starts to pray, very cool. Buds are swelling up every day and there is a nice fresh smell in the tent. I will bring it to the end, i think 4 more weeks to go..

Overall very happy with the grow. Got 24oz of very dense nugs! I also managed to get 2oz of less dense but still pretty bag-appeal, and a shit ton of trim which I made into tidy ass brownies, which have made typing this incredibly difficult😂! Both of these strains are definitely bed time strains. The Critical kush is has the usual overwhelming kush taste, however the peyote(purple nugs) have a very sweet / flowery taste and smell. Disappointed I only done 1 peyote but more than happy with the critical. Would definitely grow both these strains again!

After 48 hours of darkness, the time had come and the Purple Lemonade were ready for harvest. Since she reacted very well to the training and grew with enough space between the buds, I decided to dry upside down. Dry weight and smoke report follow after curing. Stay tuned...

Yo ho ho things are getting a little out of control here. By the end of this week the single plant has grown from the windows to the waaaaallls, measuring 30 inches across and somewhere around 20 inches tall. Humidity is a real problem now with all that transpiration, and because my house is 60-65% RH it is pretty hard to keep the tent humidity below 70% even with ventilation and a dumb thermoelectric peltier dehumidifier. The dehumidifier pulls 160-170ml of moisture out of the air each day but I feel like I might need something bigger (although I'm pressed for space already). VPD ranges from 7.6hPa in the morning and climbs to around 9.5hPa by lights out as the tent warms up. I've seen a lot of people who use the Growmau5 / RapidLed "Far Red Initiator Puck" to help kick their plants into bloom but $37 shipped and it doesn't even have built-in scheduling? I designed my own puck with 4x Cree XPE-2 Far Red (730nm) LEDs, a driver, wifi access and control for scheduling and setting brightness, and while I was at it I added in 0-10V dimming with override dimmer potentiometer, as well as a DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor for logging. I call it the Initgnokt. I am also seeing pairs of fine little hairs coming out at nodes, we definitely got a ladyplant here, hope to get some blooms coming soon?

Was bummed out plant got red mites at the end but that’s fine, it didn’t not impact the grow (or at least I didn’t notice.) Harvested at the end of the 6th week of flower. Trichomes had already started turning amber due to heat degradation (couch lock party) what trichomes that were not dust ridden or amber was milky so I’d say it’s ready. Choosing the best time to harvest is still puzzling for me due to the fact that this is my 4th time harvesting cannabis. Thanks for reading... more info to come ...TBC

Light defoliation and training branches at the bottom with stakes… I mistakenly pushed down too hard and you know the story after that But overall plant still moving forward.. Any advice on spots on leaf.. please reach out and let me know if you have any solutions

Temps have been hitting 30c last week due to sunny weather and no a/c but its still smashing its way through its cycle. OK the buds aren't massive but it smells like fruit loops and is so sticky. We had a cheeky smoke as I ripped a bud off last week and it tastes exactly as it smells. Very sweet and punchy 😄 high thc as we were pretty high after it. Certainly the best start to my coco growing. This little lady is doing great. Both new tops are going to be super stacked!! She is not going to get any bigger than like 3 foot i can see...which is fine with me. I'm having problems with my other plant getting to tall. All in all I am super happy with her and the gamble I took topping her!!

Week 6 2nd week of flowering: Slowly but surely, the whole thing had taken shape. And in the way I'm usually used to. "Sow love, reap happiness." Hello dear plant friends, please forgive me for my time delay in the grow diary. A lot is happening in real life for me right now and I had to get used to it. Unfortunately, one of my beloved cats died suddenly for a reason unknown to me. A long-time friend and companion. And in addition, I am very busy modernizing my grow room, expanding capacities and the current grow also requires a lot of attention, as I am passionate about new crazy training methods. All this distracts me from my grief and the loss of my dear furry friend and helps me a lot to get back on my feet mentally. Day 50 from seed and these BCN criticals have a lovely citrus smell. When i open the tent, its the first thing i smell. Theyre all healthy and running. Lights are still on 20/4. Bit of redish/amber hairs showing up. When i loom at other pictures its just the genes of the genetic. I Cant wait to harvest this! Ive started adding more biobizz as it states on the chart. And then i water with normal tap water every 2 days! I will post an update for week 8 next week! One love!
