Schwazzzz continues and ScrOG begins !

It’s the eighth week of flowering, and the plant is looking absolutely gorgeous! The buds and leaves have turned a deep purple with rich autumn hues, giving the plant such a unique, almost magical appearance. The sweet smell has become even stronger and fills the whole grow space with a powerful, sugary aroma. 🍬🌿 I’ve noticed the trichomes starting to turn an amber color—just the sign I’ve been waiting for! Most of them are still milky, but the amber hints show we’re getting close. This week, I’ve started the flushing process to clear out any remaining nutrients and prepare for harvest. 💧 Everything’s on track, and I couldn’t be more excited for the final steps! 😁✨

This week was a big week for the candy cush. I noticed upon watering her to run off, that in the same day the pot would go super dry and light weight. I also noticed stress in the leaves and roots poking out the bottom of the pot. It was time for a transplant. So far so good! Upon transplanting i performed more LST to help her fill in the pot. She went from a 1 gallon to a 5 gallon. She was also defoliated thia week.

I’ve stopped tucking over the past week to avoid snapping shoots during stretch. At this point I’m letting the plants do what they do best and focusing on environment and nutrition rather than manipulation. Once the second trellis net goes in, I’ll start assigning individual squares, spreading the canopy a bit more, and following up with a defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration. We’re currently 9 days into flower and the plants are healthy, vigorous, and drinking well. I couldn’t ask for a better run so far. I expect to see bud sites forming across all tops by the next update as stretch begins to slow and flower development kicks in.

Aquí ya en mi 8va semana después de cambiarlas a unas macetas más grandes de un aproximado de 15 litros. Bueno, se preguntarán dónde está la tercera si eran tres y ahí se ven dos. Resulta que se murió, aconsejo de mantener lejos a tus gatos. Sí, mi gato macho orinó en su sustrato (aconsejo siempre mantener limpio su arenero para que no busque otros lugares donde orina) y pese de hacerle su lavado de raíces y cambio de sustrato, no sobrevivió. Aquí fue la única vez hasta ahora que pasó algo así. Hasta ahora sigo renegando con el gato, pero bueno no es culpa de ellos, sino de uno mismo. Hay que ser más precavidos. Buenos humos!

Problemas com mofo no substrato e manchas nas folhas 😐

La settimana della ragazza è trascorsa bene, si vede che la genetica e pregiata xké nonostante il poco spazio si sta sviluppando e acquistando spazio dalle altre piante ,quindi vuol dire che sta davvero bene, le foglie sono grandi a ventaglio corpose tipiche dei fenotipi principalmente indica , anche il fusto è davvero in espansione ,ad ogni internodo il volume aumenta esponenzialmente! Mi aspetto una weeda spaziale da questa ragazza vincitrice degli ultimissimi premi come migliore hibrido indica! Complimenti a Fastbuds! Tutto questo non sarebbe possibile se non ci fosse la luce Mars hydro che mi dà la possibilità di avere la stessa intensità di luce, e si vede con la crescita uniforme della ragazza ,nonostante la pianta sia relegata in un piccolo spazio di lato! Been wanting to try out this auto ghost og from original sensible seeds for a while and finally got the opportunity to get one wet. I originally started this setup to compete in the solo cup challenge, but I needed something that will be minimal maintainence and doesn't require hand watering. So this is what I ended up with. I will not be entering since I know it will bring controversy, but I am going to follow the rules and treat this grow as if I am competing. I didn't want to use regular solo cups because last time I had a lot of algae growing in the root zone when I harvested. I opted to use a black light proof cup. These cups were 27 oz originally so I filled them with 16 oz of water, marked the level, then cut them down to 16 oz. I set the drain pipes about an inch from the bottom so they have a little reserve if I have pump or power issues. I know people will see the drains as a way for roots to grow out of the cup but in reality I have to keep the entire pipe free of roots or it will clog and overflow. So I am actually losing a little volume due to this. I filled the bottom inch or so of the cups with river gravel to stop the perlite from washing into the reservoir. I am running a 5 gallon reservoir with a small air pump and the plants will be getting irritated 24 hours a day from an aquarium power head pump. I set the system up to be totally self contained and easily portable. It was all built from things I had laying around other than 97¢ for the cups. I will be keeping the feed simple as always feeding maxigro and maxibloom with a couple flower boosters.

Maybe she needed some defoliation on top but my focus was to clean the bottom half, she is is growing naturally into this bush shape so I will just leave her be. First first week stretch she drank a 10l+ of water plus good nutrients consumption, during my soil grows from this strain I almost always had some yellowing, so she seems to consume a lot in stretching phase!

Week 9 starting, plant is doing good, buds are growing fast. Will cut leaves in coming days. Day 59 - Cut a few leaves, gave her 5L with nutrients. Increased amount of BigBud, getting ready for last weeks. Buds are maturing by hours. Day 63 - Cut a lot of leaves. 6L water. Buds are looking very good. Noticed a lot of sugar leaves. Peace.

***** Week 4 Veg - December 26/20 to Jan 1/21 ***** The girls were transplanted on Christmas day, after three weeks in the solo cups from seed. They had been growing well in cups but I must admit that I feel the root mass should have been larger after that time period. I am working with a new nutrient line that I have not used before and have not been adding microbes to the feed schedule thus far.........or hardly any. I feel this is why the root system, while looking healthy, is looking too small. Over the next couple weeks will ensure they get lots of microbes in the 1 gal pots to fill those up with roots before moving to 5 gal pots.......the last upsize for this girls. Counting my weeks for finish I am wishing that I had started these girls a couple of weeks sooner so they may not get to veg in the 5 gal pots for a couple of weeks before flipping to flower. For these girls it is still pretty early on in their lives and not many exciting things to happen the first month of seedlings. We have done one upsize and another to go. Keep the feeding in line and follow the week 1 veg feeding for these girls, bringing up the ppm closer to 700ppm range. Overall, happy with first couple of weeks of veg. Need to get more roots going, we will, but otherwise just give them the time to mature and take it easy......they will come along😀 Little more detail....... Dec 26/20, Day 22 Veg - Dry out day after being transplanted yesterday. - Pots were still heavy. - Let the microbes in the media do their thing and start pushing root growth harder than what has been happening. Dec 27/20, Day 23 Veg - Gave the girls a little splash of the left over nutes from two days ago to add a little oxygen and they can take the extra microbes and bacteria right now😀 - 200ml with Microbial Mass and Piranha @ 2ml/L = 650ppm and 5.7pH - They are really happy today!!!! Loving the bigger pot to let those valuable roots expand into nice fluffy new coco and soak up the nutrients👍 Dec 28/20, Day 24 Veg - feeding day today with more water to get some runoff from the 1 gal pots. They have not been watered to runoff yet. - 0.5L each girl with the full line for this week. No other additives, just the IPP line = 700ppm and 5.7pH - seems a little high to jump from around 300ppm to 700 but will follow the companies recommendations👍 Dec 29/20, Day 25 Veg - Dry out day. - they are happy today......not much to add otherwise today Dec 30/20, Day 26 Veg - going to give them another day without watering. - I feel like I should be watering today but I am not as I am not sure how much moisture they will have consumed and the roots need some air to breath so holding off. - think it is a CalMag only feeding tomorrow. Dec 31/20, Day 27 Veg - feed day today since it has been a couple of days. - 500ml with CalMag @ 2ml, Gold Storm @ 7ml, Sea Storm @ 5ml, Blackstorm @ 2ml, Vitamin B @ 0.5ml = 525ppm and 5.7pH - keeping the humic and fluvic acids going in, plus Kelp and CalMag👍 - the girls are happy and seeing forward movement everyday, looking for more aggressive though from the girls. Jan 1/21, Day 28 Veg - doing very well......like really well💪 - didn’t push them today and left them alone for watering, pots of course still had some weight and I didn’t expect them to need today. - Optic Folier Overgrow given today. Folier spray to give them just an extra boost since everything is otherwise dialed in👍 Finishing off the week very strong!!!!!! They have been looking very healthy and perky everyday. The roots are a concern and will be taking it easy on the nutrients for another week yet and keep up the microbes and beneficials. Will get them in line......my hope is too keep their time in the 1 gals down to two weeks max......maybe 10 days?? Looking pretty good ETS as we move through the first upsize. Her stems are stiffening and they are taking varying temps and humidity in the first weeks well. Feeding has been moderate to light and no signs of any issues......again, still pretty early on but its all good so far😎

Same this week. Some stretching and lst as it follows.In the second watering with 1L saw run off for first time. I think that I will lst again in (if necessary) the first days of next week and then stop.

Hey hey growmies! another longer week, as I wanted to show these girls bouncing back from some problems I ran into with my Kratky experiment. about halfway through the week my plants started drooping and showing signs of overwatering, my guess is either the plant outgrew her air roots or the reservoir was too hot, inhibiting the plants ability to take up oxygen. either way, a quick peek at the roots showed some very healthy looking noodles, so I decided to not take any chances and come up with a solution that would solve both those problems. I took a 3 litre container, put a coat of primer and black paint on it to keep light out, then a layer of plumbers tape to bounce some of the grow lights off of the container, theoretically keeping the heat out, some other things I could have done was paint it white, or put some wall insulation around it. I could have also kept my jars and tried some troubleshooting, fill them less and more often. but I am happy with the roots created by Kratky, that's the nice thing about that system, it forces the roots to grow more horizontally, the roots have now created a sturdy foundation for low stress training and are perfect for placing into DWC. so that's what I did, I added a tiny pump and air stone, and for now both plants will sit in this tiny container, The Runtz will be moved to the tent as soon as possible, hopefully before these girl's roots get entangled, If that does happen, I will have to trim back some of the Runtz roots, I don't want to hurt the autoflower. now you've likely wondered what is up with the host of deficiencies the plants are showing, honestly that's just neglect on my part. I can tell there's damage from overwatering, pH fluctuations and even some lockouts. I am more on top of it now, the pH is more stable, the plants are getting oxygen and will recover plenty before flower. Plus I get to show off how hardy ruderalis is, look at the auto-flower compared to the photo period, she barely cares about the high temps, pH fluctuations all she appears to want is more food, so I have increased the ec to 1 ms, but most importantly, ill keep the pH in a range where they can actually take up the nutrients now That's it for now Growmies, Thanks for checking out my diary.
