After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Start of week 5 today, everything seems to be going great! The Gelato OG is by far the biggest plant of the bunch so far but they all seem to be taking well to LST, HST , Topping & defoliation! Will be going in the flower tent as soon as the other ladies harvest so they will probably have atleast 2 to 3 more weeks of veg!

Gave her a good defoliation this week along with spreading out the branches a little. Couldnt bend the main cola over as it is still recovering from the damage. Overal she seems to be healthy. Been removing leaves here and there and she doesnt seem to mind at all.

This is week 8 day 4 video. I have tried about 30g in testers rapid 1:05 dry. I’m waiting on seeds to finish. Plants are 7ft tall super cropped 3x on some branches and monsters just pop up. I highly don’t recommend super ripping or manipulating breaking stems. You will have jungles and delicious harvest. Some tops were touching doides so lights were raised to maximum tent ceiling. Every day is 2tbsp soluble pk into 5 gal water, 1/2-1tbsp folvic acid, sometimes humid acid, sometimes fishsh!t, sometimes microbial mass. 2 times only I added 1tbsp of magnesium phosphate into5gal. Every watering in 5gal has 2tbsp of carbs, I don’t use black molasses but it’s bluesky organic booster. Buds smell sweet, 2 and 3 are where the terps are but no1 is frosty af. 2 is og. As numbers left to right. Split between the middle bar. Running about 840w. 640is my reg along with 5x 20w blurples and my friends 100w “lm301h” but I beg to differ. My 640w is lm301h. I wish I had more light but I am not a facility. I just have a 4x8x7h. I’m very happy with this grow. Everything is to the max been flushing last week and it’s burning my plants lol. Just 1tbsp ph down. I have not been using ph down in my entire flower because the soluble pk 1-1.5 tbsp per 5gal water is enough to lower and make things happy. Every day is watering and every plant gets 1gal water daily. They could do a lot more but I don’t have the space as you can see ❤️

Veg Week 3 Day 21 to 27 - 4/17 to 4/23 A lot more to talk about this week. It's topping and transfer week. I started the week off (day 21exactly) by making sure I had at least 5 to 6 nodes of growth and topped P1 down to the 4th node and P2 down to the 2nd node as a test. (typically I top to the 3rd) I also removed all other node branches and fan leaves and usual. I left a large stump in my tops so the nodes can use it to grow around and help support the larger weight of a mature plant. I gave a couple of days of recovery while I hand spread the nodes daily to train the new waterways through the nodes. I changed my schedule and watered a day after and then transferred the plants into their forever pots/top watered in Feed this week was .5gal transfer and top feed at 100ppm total before add-ins. I used 100ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) I then also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) and ph balance this week was for 6.2 Feed plan next week will be a final top feed of .5gallon and then turn the reservoir on. This week I moved them into their own grow tent because I realised I couldnt wait for them to naturally flip into flower. It would have taken atleast 4 more weeks. Im really excited for the orange sherbert as the stem smell amazingly orange like. They are under 300watts of LED from mars hydro (samsung evo LM301H EVO). I might add another 250 - 400 watt HPS later in the flower stage as the plants will fill the tent. I will give it another 4 - 7 days before i start tying them down (LST) to make sure I maximize the grow space and allow time for the final stretch. Like this i estimate a yield around 500g to 700g of dry weight once harvested

Day15 - Day17: I had some difficulties to get the humidity right. It was either too high or fluctuating too much. I ended up getting a timer for the plug and running the humidifier 15mins every hour. To help with air flow, I have the main duct fan running 4 times a day for an hour. To ensure that there's airflow around the plant, I have a fan in the light as well as a smaller clip-on fan that runs during light hours. I'm not sure how the camera moved on day17... I only watered it mid-day. Day18: The timer on the humidifier and Duct Fan is now keeping the humidity in a good space. VPD now under control Day19: The Vivosun controller perfectly adapted the lighting schedule to an hour earlier, to ensure 6hrs of darkness. UInfortunately the RPi kept it's 04:00 schedule (makes sense). So I captured an hour of darkness. Adapted everything. Will have 18hrs again from Day20 onwards. Day20: In the next days I'll lift the camera higher for a better view of what's happening up top. My mesh-netting-dingsbums will arrive and I'll use this as a platform for the pi+camera. Day21: I'm not sure if I like this angle. I'll only keep it like this until she goes into veg-mode. It at least shows the new nodes growing from different perspective

Hey fellow gardeners, Unfortunately, I couldn't complete this diary earlier because was busy with family stuff and work. So finally here we go with the last chapter of this wonderful grow session. Thanks for Barneys for another masterpiece, we had a truly unforgettable journey with this breed. Its a bit difficult to remember after so long time but we try to collect the most important feelings and thoughts.🌞 So i decided to choose this time a hybrid strain to complement our most sativa collection. The seeds germinated in no time and we were able to put them in the first small pot after only 3 days, after another 3 days except one, they emerged from the soil so the fun could begin. The vegetative phase was actually easy and vigorous, but we made a mistake that made it a little longer than planned. Luckily the broken main stem healed really fast so this extra week wasn't so bad. In this phase we had an experience that we never had before, and yes this was the 13 finger leaf which means that the plants seem doing very well.🌱😎 When we entered the flowering period I was afraid they wouldn't stretch enough as other growers reported. Luckily these ladies got lanky and even didn't want to stop the stretching, which was cause for concern because the time for the last defoliation and lollypop session was almost there. At around day 23 of flowering we made the last trainings and we finally could sit back and watch the magic happen. It was really touching and lovely to see how the colors and aromas change from week to week as autumn approaches. Basically, we could distinguish two phenotypes. One with the purple silk on the leaves and a smaller but rock hard bud structure. The smell of this lady was more pine and sweet at the same time. The other 3 ladies were pretty much the same when it comes to smell and bud structure. Sweet and fruity aromas were characteristic here. Apart from the previous ones, both phenotypes were characterized by cinnamon scent throughout the whole flowering period. It can definitely be said that it is the most frosty variety i have ever grown. I am really satisfied with the outcome in every aspects. First the purple pheno went to darkness with our DWC lady and after two days the other 3. Dried them for 7 days at 21 degrees and 60% humidity and for another 5 days at 50% humidity.⚔️ Trimming these variety was a bit challenging threw the closed bud structure but it wort all the time. We ended up with 368 grams of juicy, rock hard dried buds and 48 grams of larf and popcorn. After placed it into glass jars with Boveda 62% humidity pack. Was a very pleasant strain to grow. Hello colleagues! As I expected, in the middle of the week all the plants bloomed, especially pleased that almost in unison, including our medical strain. I did nothing except remove the extra large burdocks, I will do a thorough defoliation after the large "dandelions" appear. In the meantime, I continue to observe. Thank you so much Kannabia, for allowing me to grow a much wanted strain. And what a beast she turned out to be! HOLY!!! The buds are all giant grease balls, covered in frost! She smells very sweet, but while trimming some funk hints. No much, but kinda ripe smell maybe. I can't wait to try her, was a crazy sized harvest! Oh and she was only 2 gallon too. Im very glad I have more seeds of this mammoth! 😻😁🤘 Cheers

Heerlijke harde volle toppen en voor het eerst dat ik harsdruppels zie. Een heerlijke strain om te growen. De plant wordt in zijn geheel opgehangen en ik zal het droge gewicht wegen.

Nothing much to say here. Thrips are leaving their marks and i tried everything but i think i noticed them too Late and i Hope they dont ruin my yield completely. Leafs are yellowing and falling down, but buds Look nice and are growing so i stay positive. I Hope i can give them at least 2 more weeks. Originally, i Planned 4 more weeks until harvest nur we will see

This week we kept everything pretty steady in terms of EC and PH levels. We focused a bit more on training as the week went along and the plants are reacting well. The biggest challenge is keeping the environment steady, but the humidifiers seem to be doing their thing.
