They had 48 hrs of darkness, and the time has come to say goodbye to my friends. I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! Big hug, lots of love and take care! ***UPDATE*** The final weigh-in is ready. I hadn't seen them in a week, because of my vacation. The humidifier I set up, had failed. So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! I smoke for medical reasons and it's used for ritual and healing purposes, never to be sold, as it loses its magical properties. Should I have to buy Gelato of this quality at the dispensary that I frequent, it would cost me at least € 15,-- per gram. 246 x 15 = 3690 euros. also, 49 car rides of 25 miles there and back, 250 euros in gas saved. The plants came down after 64 days in flower, and 99 days total. I'm super happy with the results as of right now. I love the color on these buds and they seem super dense. The smell while trimming was very gassy, and I think it'll smell great after curing. The buds still need to dry, which I expect to take just over a week. They'll be drying in the tent at about 70F and around 60% humidity. The humidity is a little high after being in the tent over night at 64%, but I'm hoping that will creep down as the buds lose more moisture. I'll update later after the buds have dried and I'm able to weigh them. The drying turned out great. I've struggled with some past grows getting rid of the wet grass smell after drying, but I let it go an extra day this time and the smell seems to have gone away. Ended up with about 4.5 ounces in total, which I'm happy with. Now the buds are all curing, and I'll probably wait close to a week before smoking any of the cured bud.

Comenzando semana 7 de estás nenas, aun las mantengo en 1L y hoy le hicimos su primera defoliación masiva, ahora a esperar que se recuperen para hacerle trasplante a maceta de 3,5L. La verdad no eh tenido muchos problema, todo sigue igual siguiendo el mismo orden de nutrientes, bacterias y hongos benéficos una vez por semana, enzimas ahora se las estoy dando día por medio o cada 3 día. Ya logramos sacar los primeros clones de la watermelon, punch y cookie y la thc bomb. la dss aun la tenemos tirando fuerza que no va mal pero no tenia espacio para más clones. Saludos

It’s looking lovely for the first week of flower

Welcome to week 10! First Time checking trichomes this week but were still far off (~3-4 weeks+). Deficencies are officially under control, theyre not getting any worse by now. Ramped up nutes, next watering will also be 4ml/l of bloom instead of 3. They really started to swell and build mass by now. Despite all the issues in the beginning, im happy with how they look now and i learnt a lot. well, i say lot, mainly just "dont overwater" lol. Didnt defoliate, just watering and checking on them. They smell really good and kinda strong, not overwhelming yet but im 1 inch away from giving them the "strong" here on growdiaries. Timelapse again at the end of the week.

4/15/25 Things are progressing nicely. Some plants dont seem to be doing too much but 3 of them or so that are really standing out. Im curious if some of these are going to be longer flowering time than anticipated with the very obvious sativa dominant plants.

Hello Canna Fam, So week 10 has come to an end and the ladies are doing well. I started to feed only PH’ed water yesterday and hopefully as EC levels drop the girls should go into overdrive and hopefully push to increase bud density before they get the chop. I have been struggling some days with extremely low levels of humidity so the environment has not been perfect but nevertheless things aren’t looking too bad. The late blooming Gorilla Glue will still be feed nutrients until she is ready for flush, roughy another 2-3 weeks. I hope you all enjoy the progress and happy growing to you all.✌️🏼

Hey guys! Started week #8 Day 52 Sorry for not uploading many pics these past few days ago but you get it we busy and sometimes can't do much even tho we want to! Please check on the last picture at Day 50 and compare to new picture on day 53 You will noticed many changes! We also expanded the net and modified some other lights from setup. We've been good and theyve been great Outdoors everyday and tons of lights and love so she can continue to flower :). Day 53 Fed them medium hard 1710ppm /3.79g floranova bloom Only 300ml followed by 900ml plain water Plus outdoors from 7.30am til 2.30pm Day 54 Ladies are looking good Great day great weather All day outdoors til 6pm Now under CFL til 6.30am Then back outdoors Got some videos today! Day 55 we've updated our set of lights to a new LED grow lights 600 watts plus 100 watts CFL :) Day 56 It's already rocking their bodies Rich in THC Content Look at those crystals!!!! 09/01/22: The plants have definitely stopped growing taller and now are just concentrating all their energy into the bud production. Trichomes everywhere and all over the sugar leaves. Had a look at a sugar leaf under the microscope - not cloudy enough to be ready. Should be done in a few more weeks. Slowly but surely some of the stigmas are turning orange though no brown trichomes yet. the humidifier is doing a great job of keeping the grow tent under 50% humidity. Despite having a 4 inch carbon filter and fan the smell is slowly but surely creeping out of the grow tent - I can but imagine the smell if there was no carbon filter or fan. Not much more to do but wait until the browners trichomes come and more stigmas start to flatten and some turn orange.

Changes again, this time it is what it is. Whatever comes out, in the end, is better than nothing. So I constructed a light board and have attached 120watts of CFL bulbs to this board so that it can surround the plants at a close distance. There is still more 2700k spectrum to it than 6500k, but it was either full 2700k or this. I have also added a fan and humidifier I got from a friend. I call it the moonball. So for +- 4 hours a day the plants will be in direct sun, then after they will go back into the moonball for the remaining 14 hours. Then for the very first time, and a new concept to me, I have started doing L.S.T. Excited about this, as I have seen many plants done in this technique and it always did make me curious as to how it is done. Now I will get to see it for my very own eyes and my own plants :) Hopefully, I am doing it, right? suggestions are welcomed, I am learning still. #justnotgivingup
