These gals are slowly getting those lower branches going, they are still tied down to let that light in. I’m not super happy with the speed of growth...or the soil, or the pots, lol. They need more space but the grow room got delayed. Day 26: I decided to cull #8 from the group. The mainlining is happening too slow and I snapped off one of the main branches. RIP. Might turn it into a cutting or keep growing it but it’s out of the main group for now Day 28: Moved to 3.5 gallon air pot with sunshine #4 mix, biochar, and HnG rhizoforce pellets

Dropped temperatures to 55-60F, added 2 hrs of darkness, and adding only water from 250 ppm - through finish. I guess I have to make them purple? Most trichomes are cloudy, so there isn’t time to freeze them to color. Going to chop in two days and call it a grow! Dumped half the res and dropped ppm to 0 and added FloraKleen. Will chop in a day or two. The bells toll…

Started flushing. Buds are getting tough, most pistils are turning brown and some trichromes are already amber. I harvested the two bigger stems on Wednesday (because their sugar leaves were getting yellow and crispy) ; will harvest the rest of the plant on Saturday !

Alright guys, this girl was stunned and stressed at the beginning because it didnt have the right nutrients in the soil mix due to lack of money and couldn't get any for the time being, thank god we did some hustle and ya know!... So for the next time we will grow another amnesia way better than what we could do with this one. Anyways... at first we didnt think she was going to make it but since amnesia is super fast and strong she did so. We could have waited a little longer for harvest and probably get better yield but we really didnt think it was going to make much difference at that time.... Of course, every single seed is a new experience for me every time, which is good because i keep learning In the other hand, sucks because you waited this long and didnt get what you expected, just keep trying until u get better right!? xD! haha... well here we go again, we love it tho so forever we will keep trying and with all the support and help from all the community at the grow diaries it makes me feel even better! DAY 53 Had to take out of the room the Amnesia XXL hermaphrodite; cant take the risk of turning the rest into males too. DAY 54 FUUUCKKK!! The wind dropped a piece of heavy wood onto the plants!!! 1 of the Moby Dick was totally broken. Some branches of the neighbour plants were affected too. So that's 2 plants lost at the moment (the hermaphrodite and the broken one). Day 56 Two days after the tragedy. Had to reorganize the room to prevent similar accidents in the future 🖤😢 Saved the most I could but definately this stressing event will influence the plant’s development. Also, considering taking out the claw leaved plant, which has signs of hermaphroditism (FML again 😫). Hope these 7 make it till the end. PS: Also, there’s 1 Moby Dick which has no signs of flowering at day 56, cant figure out what’s happening with it. I’m starting to think that it’s an Regular Feminized seed instead of an autoflowering.

Let’s dive into all the details and talk about the key elements shaping this transition. 48 Hours Dark Period & Transition to Flower Before flipping to flower, we implemented a 48-hour dark period. In my experience, this technique helps the plants transition more smoothly and accelerates their hormonal shift into flowering. It’s a method that has consistently worked well for me, and I encourage growers to explore different approaches to find what best suits their setup. The Power of Reds - Far Red & Deep Red As part of this transition, we have introduced far red and deep red lighting. These are turned on 15 minutes before the main whites and stay on for 15 minutes after. The reason? This simulates the natural sunrise and sunset effect, which helps optimize the flowering response and enhances overall plant development. The red spectrum plays a crucial role in promoting stretch and enhancing bud formation early on. Light Schedule - 11/13 Cycle From the start of flower, we are running an 11 hours light / 13 hours dark schedule. Over the years, I’ve found this lighting strategy beneficial in inducing faster flower onset, increasing terpene production, and ultimately producing better-quality fruits. This is something I personally swear by, but as always, I encourage others to experiment and see what works best for their unique environments. Spending Time with the Girls One of my favorite parts of the grow is spending time with the plants, enjoying some good medicine, and simply being present in the garden. The connection we have with our plants is invaluable, and I believe they truly respond to the energy we bring. It’s a labor of love, and every moment spent with them contributes to their health and vitality. Monitoring with TrolMaster TM + App All data is being closely monitored using the TrolMaster TM + app, and I highly encourage everyone to check it out. Gear Spotlight - AeroFan Extraction Let’s talk about one of the essential pieces of gear in this setup: the AeroFan Extraction System. A good extraction system is key to maintaining ideal airflow, temperature, and humidity control, and this one has been doing an incredible job. Current Environmental & Nutrient Data Water pH: 6.0 Water EC: 1.36 Water Temperature: 16°C (a bit low, will be adjusting soon) Soil EC: 1.44 Soil Temperature: 20°C (decent but could be slightly higher) Maintaining the right balance of temperature, pH, and EC is essential for a successful flowering phase, so I’ll be keeping a close eye on these numbers and making any necessary adjustments as we progress. Mixed nutrients today. Last night I added 2 ml of oxy science h202 to 18L of Kamloops City water filtered through our homes water filter, no idea what it does exactly lol. I put an air stone over night and let the water bubble off any chlorine and the rest of the h202, I use microbial mass so I just wanted to sanitize the water but not kill my soil. Mixed in bases first into 21.7 C ph 8.1 Water in the morning. Important not to mix concentrated solutions, I used syringes that I rinsed well between products. I find that with this product you just follow the instructions and it’s pretty awesome results.
