This week went by quickly. They're doin their Pre-Flower stretch and getting big quickly!! I added my Pre-Flower mix to them this week. My Nutrient Pre-Flower Mix consists of H20, Coconut, Bananas, Pineapple, Sweet Potatoes, Kelp, Alfalfa Meal, All Organic Non-Pasturized Whole Milk, Epsom Salts, Black Strap Molasses, and L.A.B. or Lactic Acid Bacteria. First, I boiled the coconut, pineapple, sweet potatoes, the bananas, and left the skins on as well except the coconut of course! That I had to split in half and make sure to keep the water inside to add to the boil. After boiling everything I then let it cool and then added it to a blender to blend little by little. After blending I left separate and placed into the fridge. Then I took 1 Tbsp of Alfalfa Meal and 2 Tbsp of Kelp, 500mL of the milk, 2 Tbsp of Epsom Salts, and mixed them in a 750 mL bottle. Then I took 1L of the mix and added 2 Tbsp of L.A.B. and 2 Tbsp of Black Strap Molasses and then shook the bottle well! Then I took the 750mL bottle and the 1L bottle and fed that to the plants adding 250 mL of pH H2O to the plant as well to flush the ingredients all into the plant with the H20. I wanted to also note that I choose to slowly defoliate so that the plant doesn't go into shock and also fan leaves collect light in all spectrums so taking too many off at a time could hurt or slow the growth of your plant! The amount of light your plant takes in daily is called DLI or Daily Light Index. Overall, they're really growing and have a ton of bud sites developing! I'm excited to see the growth weekly and their colors!

I think 1 more week and I’ll be flipping o flower. This week watered with no nutrients.

Our Zamnesia photoperiod plants have also started their journey into the magical flowering period, this is the first week. ---- The general environmental conditions are good, the heat has increased a bit again but for the first weeks of flowering it is not a big problem, let's remember to never exceed 27 degrees centigrade in the last 4 weeks to avoid jeopardizing the quality of the flowers. If necessary, open the growbox but never let it exceed 27-30 degrees where 30 is already a lot. The good thing is that as soon as the lights are turned off the change is already visible a bit and as autumn progresses we will also improve. The humidity is fluctuating but we try to control it with two dehumidifiers when necessary, pushing both possibly not into the growbox but directly into the room. (I dehumidify the room and the air in the growbox should also be dehumidified) - Our two Karen Kush plants had a bit of a hard time during the vegetative stage and I applied my emergency rule when a plant isn't doing very well. The plant that was having the most trouble was topped and is now about to send out 8 central tops and two lateral tops that were LSTed and have been branched out, really beautiful, great work, I told the guys at Zamensia that I was trying to come up with something and fingers crossed it seems I succeeded. A result that is obviously pleasing to the eye as well. Beautiful. This one is still in the vegetative stage in a separate small growbox. The second plant was also having a hard time, it seemed to be going into deficiency, it showed signs of over when I tried to recover so I gave it a good clean to give the plant less stuff to manage and now it seems we're going straight up well. She's flowering with the others. --- Technique chosen as I mentioned one of the two plants was left to vegetate, topping on the main central line up to 8 buds now growing. However, unlike the main lining, I left two side branches which also have some nice branching and I applied a symmetrical and pleasant LST. --- Feeding Program - The fertilizers are always Plagron and I am following the table that I generated on the site depending on the substrate chosen. Create your card and follow it, never be presumptuous my friend as I have been in the past, follow the card and look at the plants, not all need the same amount of fertilizer. This week I will maintain the same techniques from previous week. Noticed that main leafs got bigger during the weekend, both plant look healthy and happy and are now looking wider. Also to note that I have been rotating the vases so they catch light in different positions/sides. It does not replace the real sun movement however it will stimulate the growth in different parts of the plant. Hopefull by the end of this week we will have a new set of baby leafs.

Well... What a very very stressful week this has been, A few pistils started browning. I went over each girl no Nana’s definitely all female, started panicking thinking I maybe had bugs, root rot e.t.c. Flushed for two days and all new growth showed healthy signs kicking out some serious trichomes! Smells beautiful and PH for the run off was exact. Gave 1/2 Nutrients/Feed today for the first time just to ease the girls back in but fingers crossed I have either had some PH issues or wind burn possibly. Had to Defoliate again today as the foliage was ridiculous😂 I hope next week isn’t so stressful 🙏🏻 Wish me luck man please I need it 🤦‍♂️🏻😅

the cold has arrived and it shows!! what a nice progression towards purple/orange colors!! I absolutely love those nuances. had a little check on the trichomes, we are almost there, the brownish/milky ones are still few against the transparent ones, but in a matter of a few days I hope they are gonna balance. i wanna exploit those last sunny days, then the average temperature is gonna be too much cold, making impossible all the biology process, or at least too slow to be appreciated. So next update is gonna be the cut, early in the morning.

Havested about 90 days after seed posed. She is a kind of giant: about 1.8 Kg of buds and branches from only one plant. The buds seems a little bit dry. I hope this will be not a problem after cure.

So, my method of germination is, I use a small glass container with some distilled water, I place that with my seed in a cabinet on top of an (AC infinty) seedling mat on 14 strength. My seeds develop tap roots within 24 hours. After that I place seeds directly into my medium. Btw, I do not put her in the amended soil, I dig out the center and use a seedling starter mix to prevent stunting from the nutrients. On day 12 she was looking thirsty and I was going to give her another day but decided that I was going to go ahead and give her a small dose of recharge, she is one day now away from early veg according to FastBuds timeline. I'd say she is right on schedule, also looking very healthy. It is day 13 and her height is 5" , and this will conclude my germination portion of this grow diary.
