Week 10 Flower After 4 whole weeks of flush this girl has finally met the scissors ✂️ It took her quite some time to fade out, but after cutting down the most faded half of the plant that was closest to the light on Day 65, and then the rest on Day 70 it was long enough. I'm very impressed with how fat and chunky this girl has become. I wasn't expecting quite this size from first look at her thinner stems and branchy structure earlier in flower, but her buds have swelled up nonetheless and she's stacked well. I always cut my girls down around half an hour (or a bit more) before the lights are due to turn on. This prevents her from starting any chlorophyll production in order to maintain the best flavour and burn. Only a few fans were taken off before being left to hang dry as she's absolutely covered in trichomes! Don't throw away your sugar trim (leaves with trichomes) as this can later be used for dry sift, which can then be pressed for some dank rosin. Harvest update coming soon! Made it threw seedling phase. The soil is a little too hot for the second one but I gave it some Recharge and she has recovered. I should have added 10% perlite but its too late now. Im going to hold off on giving them any nutrients for a while and let them live off the soil for a bit. I will be giving them microbes, micro nutrients and boosters. Very good growth for 7 days imo. I gave each one a 30cfm 120mm fan each. It seems to help temperatures and stimulate growth. Temperatures have been perfect 69-78, its like a nice sunny day in side.

Week is going good aside from me accidently cutting off a stem on pheno 2. If I can properly save the cutting though I might have a chance at another female. Pheno 3 I'm hoping can make some comeback as I really want to flower the plant, its not dead by any means but the way its growing I just cant see it allowing itself to flower the top leaves were barely growing so I topped. Hopefully positive changes within the next week.

Scary mutations - yes, but I was once again allowed to learn and suffer so much... ;-)) But patience and love pay off. I can tell you that much. 😁 At the end of the third week, I decided to prune the two bulkier phenotypes. Finally, I wanted to make sure that the plant canopy of all 4 would end up as homogeneous as possible in the flowering.

Big beautiful frosty buds, the smell is kicking up and I’m starting to believe these carbon filters are not so effective. Trichomes are mostly cloudy but no amber. One of the Sour Diesel plant is my favorite bud structure and scent from the whole tent. The tall OG Kush in the center of the tent got some photobleaching which I took care of with dimming the light intensity! Have some Super Buff Cherry cuttings in the CloneKing rooting while these finish up to move into the tent already!

Dutch Passion - Melonads Runtz, 120 days from seed and 72 days in flowering. The trichomes are still clear, so we will continue to wait until at least 20% of the trichomes turn brown before harvesting. Our beauty is still being fed with Xpert Nutrients, which keeps her in excellent condition. I want to express my huge thanks to Dutch Passion for such an incredible strain! Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been a couple changes this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plant. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more light penetration. Then finally switched to 12/12.. Just 36 hours after the defoliation she looked fuller than before. Leaves pointing up and out. By how she's doing I'm sure she'll stretch a good bit these next few weeks. Great reaction to the defoliation. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how she flowers. Stay safe!
