NOTE 1: Afgooey Auto pheno #3 turns out it's a MALE. Resembled nothing like her two sisters ran at the same time. In fact, I had to move her to the 12/12 tent to initiate flowering. Little did I know or expect She would be a He. Lola by the Kinks is rattling round my brain about now ;) FEEL FREE TO HIT THE LIKE BUTTON IF YOU LIKE WHAT YOU SEE ;) 2x4 French Macaron - at the time of this posting, FM is heading into week 8 flower. Second extensive flushing w/fresh rain water due to acidic conditions (ph >5). Been struggling with ph the entire flowering. I speculate ph issues due to over feeding. Ph is roughly 5.8 to 6.0 after flushing. At this point, flushing with plain RO water until harvest. NOTE 2: I've introduced two 5 gallon bubble buckets into the 2x4 grow tent. Both buckets have medium air stones running from a 125 gph air pump. Given French Macaron isn't scheduled for harvest until mid-January, I might not have cutting ready. First grow may have to be from seed. Update later. 3x3 Afgooey Autos and clones from previous grow - Afgooey #1 and #2 are firing on all cylinders. #2 running a bit acidic (>5), so flushed back to neutral with roughly 7-8 gallons of fresh rain water ph at 7.0 to 7.2. Same with clones (i.e., ph very low). Flushed with fresh rain water too. A couple days later plants look so much better. Wait till plants nearly dry before next watering. Trimmed and cleaned up three of the clones growing weird. Felt a bit like trimming a bonzai tree. Let's see how they respond.

12/30/23 - Day 54 - Hello All! I started this week a day early. I wanted to update everyone on something I have been thinking about a lot. Curing. I feel if there was a hole in my growing skills it would be curing. Last grow there was more than I had anticipated. I was not set up for curing 1 lb. I threw in an audible at the last minute. It worked out but I know I can improve with some trial and error and hands-on experience. So after reading a ton, and going off of some of my prior builds for drying, I came up with this design. I have a controller that will turn the air on and will run when the contents inside the box hit whatever RH% I want to set it at. I think the first week I will set it for 78%RH, then every couple of days go down a % until I hit 62%. The thought is that if the bucket gets above the set RH% then the air will kick on and distribute air across the buds until the RH% is back down to where you want it. It will force the humidity out. I won't need to worry about burping. It will happen on its own.... in theory. Ill update tomorrow with some pictures after the water change. 12/31/23 - Day 55 - Everything is looking good. The water change completed this morning while I was in the shower. Its adding nutes now and will do so over the next hour or so. She is starting to get stinky. I had to add the extra carbon filter to the room. I've got some pics up top of that. Happy New Year! Next time I post it will be in 2024! Have a great night and be safe! I got a comment on the bushy-ness and I got self-conscious and gave her a trim. Lol I have been going bath and forth for a while and that gave me the push to give her a little trim. She looks great and is growing really quickly. Ill update with more pics as it goes along.

Scratch what I said at the end of last week pests are still around just had some bug fly at me and bite/sting me on the neck now a got a welt on my neck smh, not sure what the heck it was it was some sort of black bug maybe a thrip but I honestly have no idea, did another neem oil drench on the medium only and tomorrow I'm going to use a hydrogen peroxide mixture again that way I can also use it on the tops and undersides of the leaves as well. Some of the roots started to become exposed on the top soil so I added more an inch or two coco to cover the exposed roots. Another successful week I guess the plants aren't dead so onto week 9, Week 4 of flower

Day 73: Early/mid flower for G. Crack & Mexican.. nearing late for CBD crack. These girls are thirsty, so much watering is happening, but the smell isn't nearly as strong as the first round is even though they are all bigger. This is a test post for videos, next one will be for the contest. Day 75: G-crack 58cm CBD Crack 30cm Mexican Airlines 20cm CBD is closest to maturity. Her leggy stature gives ample opportunity for the different buds to get light. Mex is starting to get fuller buds, but she's short and stout and her leaves are in the way. G is way too large for me to get the right amount of light on her, wish I had defoliated her more, will probably harvest in parts. None of these girls smell as strongly as the previous grow. CBD is a bit diesely but fresh. G is smokey but light right now. Mexican is spicey and woodsy. I can't really place the scents just yet.

June 6: looking good. Very impressed with these Quebec Cannabis Seeds genetics. This and Bubble OG are great strong plants. June 7: check out coyowolves howling on video. June 8: more defoliation.

Day 36 from seed touching soil. Devil still biggest. All girls started to smell strong. Development is nice, Mars TSL2000 making wonderfull job. Light is on 75% output. Watered today , 3.5 liters of 6.3 phed dechlorinated water went in. Thought to instal scrog, but its hard to reach anything even now, plus lifting pots becomes a problem. So will do heavy clearing next week or at the end of this one. Day 39. Girls got heavy training. Looks sad, they were ready to sleep, i did it very late in the day and watered next morning. ***Sponsored Grow*** = Medic || https://medicgrow.com || Grow = ***Sponsored Grow*** This week has been interesting, I was getting some weird runoff numbers in terms of EC/PPM and PH, so I decided to try and bring the PH up with a flush of high PH water into the medium. I did not have any PH up on hand so I used borax, PH of 9-10 plus it will help kill off any microbes in the soil that I believe is causing the PH swings. After doing this and getting the PH I wanted in the solution I released that the amount of B in the solution was to high and would cause more issues down the road, It was late in the day so I left the next flush to fix the excess B till tomorrow morning. Morning came and when I processed to flush I added in a bit of peroxide to the water and a dash of dish soap to break the waters surface tension so it flows through the pots more easily. This was going fine till it started to not drain out at all. I think it was foaming up in the medium and preventing a normal flow, plus on two of the pots I lost my perlite that sits on the top of the medium. I had to massage the pots "like when you transplant" to make then start draining again and then purchased a Yucca extract to help it flow through. Everything is back to normal. The pots are really root bound and should be transplanted but its mid flower and that's not going to be happening. I also don't know if I'd even have the space for it. I added in a b1 vitamin as well on recommendation of grow shop as apparently their other lineup I purchased did not have any. No idea if its working well only first week in the feeding. The Cytokelp is fun, but the one hormone in it is similar to a PGR but its not a real PGR. I am skeptical of it and not using it as foliar, just root watering. I also added in a bit of CaMg supplement that gave the plants a boost in N and Ca. The mg of this product was lesser then others I have seen about a 5:1 ratio of Ca to Mg. after the big flushes the runoff was hitting 120ppm so I gave it a good feed at 1.8EC Time will tell If i fucked it up royally by doing all this, this seedstockers plant seems to be the least problematic of them all and its the bushiest of them all. Hardly any issues with the temps getting low and seem to be able to get N a bit better out of the medium then the others. All the plants are still stretching but it seems slow to me. Maybe it will continue going but it only put on about 1cm in the last week and a half. Feels slow. I may see more stretching in the next week upcoming and it just had a ruff start. Lights still running at 100% with V1 spectrum, everything seems to be working just fine, no light burn. Okay sooooo big big sighhhh! I’ve been dreading making this post so I’m sorry I’m behind 2 weeks. I had to go outta town for 8 days. I had everything set up for my brother to take care of the plants. It was a really hot week the week I was gone and these plants were taking a beating and started to get burnt from the heat! One plant died and I’m super sad about it. But we living and learning out here! I have tried to trim the dead leaves without taking too many fan leaves off so I don’t shock em more. All last week was surviving giving the plants a little over a gallon of water a day! Doing some of the nutrients every day but not all. I like to run water in Between the nutrients. But with coco coir I’m not too sure if it’s needed. “Learning over here” so ya thankfully it’s been cooling down and I’ve learned some new tricks to cool the tent off! I got a air water cooler that’s blowing cold air into the tent and my 6” duct sucking out hot air. Things are looking better! One more week with nutritions then a week of flush and Harvest is what I’m thinking. Any suggestions thoughts or ideas for me! I’d appreciate it!

This girl kept me busy this week. I had to clean up the bottom of her as I have another plant that has a touch of powdery mildew so I have to be careful going forward. She’s free of it thus far though and I plan to keep it that way! She has been stretching out and starting to really kick into high gear flower wise this week. I tried a different feeding routine and I think she isn’t totally digging it as I have a little clawing going on so I’ll have to go will just plain water to get her balanced out again. I dug out the straw mulch I use that had a bunch of top dress amendments and replaced it with some fresh straw and no amendments. She’s been easy to stress in that sense. Not a hungry lady at all. All in all I am happy with the progress of this sweet seeds lady! Looking forward to another exciting week! 😎🍿
