Wow what a week. We are at 48” as of day 20 on the Enemy of The State plants (both are the same height now). The two White Criticals were 36 and 38 inches from the top of the tanks and the taller tops on Purple Purple are about 34”. Wedding cake is about 30” now. All my plants seem to love the 5.2 pH. Enemy of the state are on a lighter feed of about 950ppm and wedding cake is still eating from a vegetive reservoir at 1125ppm. Thanks for looking!

Week 2 underway and she's developing accordingly. Everything is in the soil so we continue to just let her sip from the reservoir thru the wicks. I'm still misting the top of the soil to make sure she's getting enough to drink.

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. I am waiting, and for the moment, everything is good! My plant looks healthy! I'm happy to see that :) I just started watering with nutrients, I'm quite worry about the quantity and I'm not sure about what I'm doing. For the moment, prevention is key, I don't water too much (maybe not enough but still ok I think) Edit: I stop watering with nutrients because it's bad for my plant(thank you guy for your recomendation!)

Howdy, So this last week has been about learning, quickly. Plant 2 has been suffering from yellowing, I noticed that at first it was a darker green than plant 1 - (first signs of Mg deficiency I have since learned). As plant 1 was doing so well until a few days ago, I originally assumed that plant 2 was just a bit of a slacker. I think basically it is more susceptible to PH differences than plant 1. First mistake was not knowing about the benefits of PH range... What I did not know earlier in the week is that Mg and Ca are only absorbed efficiently at 6.0 and above, my OCD kicked in and I refused to let the PH wander above 5.7; as from what I have read in forums, 5.7 is the sweet spot. Main lesson from last week is that I'm not going to be so anal about PH levels, I will let the PH rise to 6.3 before I drop it back down to 5.7, this will give the plants and window of time to grab hold of some well deserved CalMag before I drop it back down so it can retrieve some Mn and P if it needs any. My plants told me they were in need of Calcium over a week ago, but I naively thought that maybe I spilled a droplet of water on one of the leaves, and that caused it to burn. As I was adding CalMag+ to the solution when I replenished the reservoir. My second mistake was panicking... After realising above, I bombed the nutrient solution with 35ml of Cal Mag, bringing up the PPMS to 460, this subsequently gave the strongest plant nutrient burn. On top of this, I gave both plants a foliage spray during lights out with some diluted CalMag as well. So anyway, the main thing I have learnt is when the plants are ill, its probably best to take it easy, do a res swap at the very worst and concentrate on my PH levels first before throwing more variables into the fray. Positive notes: Plants 1 & 2 is now working on their 5th node, I know I am technically allowed to top at this point, but I am going to wait until they are working on their 7th before doing anything, this way I will be able to tell if the new growth is looking healthy, and my investigations are correct. I have now installed a Hailea 150a, with a submersible pump, this is now keeping the reservoir at 20ºc and its keeping the nutrients well mixed, I'll post a video later this week showing the set up. The roots at the top look a little dark, but I have done a sniff test and they don't smell at all, I think it is just where some of the tea has built up where the bubbles meet the air. Roots do seem rather large, maybe they have stretched so far looking for Mg and Ca :P Decided against increasing PPMS, going to do another week, so 5 weeks veg, gives the ladies some time to recover. Trimmed the burns off of leaves mainly so I can keep a track to see if damage is continuing. Anyways, I hope the above makes sense and draws other newbies attention towards PH ranging for hydro; I have posted a pic which shows the PH range for each important element. Thanks! 😊

Week 13 harvest! The girls are getting 12 hours of darkness before the hang! I can’t control my humidity yet when it’s completely dark otherwise I would’ve gone for a bit longer. My stinkiest frostiest prettiest plants yet…very excited to jar them up!!! And i’ll clean my fan soon too hahaha

Hello. This is the end of week 8 and the beginning of week 9 of flowering. Although the seed description said 10 to 11 weeks, I going to cut these girls down at 10 weeks. I need the room to grow and flower some Mac and Crack that's already growing.. Getting close to harvest I'll start flushing, But I'll give them 1 more feeding and then nothing but water till the end. I get much better taste and the buds smoke better if I flush and get the chemicals out of the soil before harvest. Well, that's the end of the Freak Bros. book # 10... I think there are 3 or 4 more books left in that series. I'll show them in future diaries. My other diaries have the old underground comic book, Weirdo by Robert Crumb if you want to check them out to see. The buds are really getting solid now and some are getting heavy and heading for the floor. Good times... Getting some great smells now. Musk is the most common. But some, smell of Citrus with Musk under tones. The smell is overpowering my carbon filter. I can smell these plants out by the street if the wind is blowing that way. Pure Lemon Skunk smell by the street. Nice. Getting near the end of their lives now and there are more yellow leaves as the plants pull what they need from the big fan leaves before turning the leaves brown. Some plants have sticky resin and some have slippery resin. OK. Have Fun. Chuck.

Plants smell amazing, and seem too like the banana juice. Will continue to use stash blend as well for the next week or two.

Week 5...Over the last couple weeks I have been LST the plants...The goal is to create a blanket of green so I can have the most top budds as possible...Also tweaked the Nutes a lil bit adding another tsp to grow and micro

This is been a pleasure to watch flower and grow. In the earlier seedling stage she was a bit delicate and there was a little cupping to the leaves but that ironed out later on. She started showing flowers or a pre-sex real early but then just started filling out Calyx on top of calyx. Flower flower flower. This was a strain that I wanted to grow as long as possible we’re gonna be going into week 13 so I decided to cut her down branch by branch. I’m going to be doing a cold drying process that I’ve been experimenting with. It’s where I will place it in a cool and preferably low humidity area. I have a cooler that has a small heater air conditioner installed into it. I will keep the flowers that are drying half the time in the cooler and half of the time at room temperature so that way we retain maximum Terps.

Started her (Betty) 1/3/22 when I was drinking and pissed that one of my double grapes 🍇 seeds didn’t pop. I’m trying to start 2 new autos every month so I can get a cache of bud stored up. Betty shed her helmet on 1/7/22 and looks like a lil banana 🍌 she’s so cute

Day 78 from seed touching soil. #1 was eaten by bud rot, really heavy, buds all in dirt, she was very low, overstreched from lack of light and water, so went all to bin. Two plants were worthless, last hope on late one . #2 is still going, shows preflowers, big plant. Happy Growing !!!
