Week 9 of flowering! Franky is faaaading....faaading....faaading.(Shoutouts to Toro y Moi) Uhm....I think we at the end now. I've only been giving water and picking yellow dead leafs. Most strains look really really ripe, and I don't like overripe stuff. So even if a few might look like they could go longer, Imma end this with the next upload in a few days. Having this grafting project was a blast. Thx everyone for tuning in and watching this grow. If anyone has any questions on grafting just hmu with a comment or pm. Ps: I haven't seen blue runtz in two months but it was there all along too...oh and the permanent marker as well :D. Very fun to watch things uncover now.

Always cool to see what old school strains are all about. If there’s something experience has taught me is that classics are classics for a reason, and that’s the theme of this cycle. The germination was exceptionally fast, followed by the development of a thick stalk and huge broad leafs, this Gorilla surely started strong. Humidity and temperature kept fairly high throughout the week (70%/ 24°C), with regular misting, which they love! So far so good, feels like a happy and healthy seedling. Let’s see what she’s got 💪🌱

Gestern haben die drei einen kurzen Regenguss abbekommen, war nicht schnell genug draussen. Heute ist das Wetter ideal, leicht bewölkt, 27°C und 45% Luftfeuchtigkeit. Es wird weiter 2x am Tag jeweils 1,5 Liter gegossen, den Schachtelhalmextrakt gibt's nur 1x alle 14 Tage. Tag 32: Die Fat Banana lässt sich ganz hervorragend biegen, nichts gebrochen bisher, obwohl die Zweige sehr dick sind😁

Going well this week. Playing around with the cycle times courtesy of my new find, a 20$ repeat cycle timer. We will switch to flower as soon as the tent is available, hopefully do this entire grow on fog alone.😬 Root prune test, two plants on the right are getting pruned, the left are not. The goal is to build thick tap roots to form a beard-like rhizome. The largest root is roughly 5mm diameter. I believe it's working.

Day 21 and the girls are really starting to take off.I did some LST on 3 of the 5 so far and will get the other 2 bent over in the next few days. Day 27 I watered with recharge tea and tied down some branches to get some more light into the center of the plants.I have increased the light intensity to 50 percent and slightly lowered the humidity this week.

Added nutrients to top off reservoirs everything looks good …I am content so far with testing will be dropping light schedule to 11 on 13 off to accelerate bud development hopefully shortening flowering time

The girls are starting to wrap up their cycle. I have been watching the trichomes closely, and we are getting very close..Trying to pick the best day for both of the strains I have going at the moment, the Apple Betty are a little closer than the cookies, but they are very similar in readiness… I’ll be checking daily, I did get a wireless microscope for Christmas so it has become much easier to tell👨‍🔬 I’ve got mostly cloudy, with a few clear, but I am waiting for a bit more amber to give them the couch lock that I like when I smoke. This week I added CO2 to the garden. My pH in the DWC dipped to 4.6 which was scary. I knew something was wrong bc usually I'm adding water every 36 hours and it was still alot left. I adjusted it to 6.1 and hopefully she recovers...I must say the dwc is so sensitive compared to soil..good grief. During week 4 they only got hit with nutes once then water throughout the rest of week. Update: I decided to drain the dwc and just put in 1gal of water at 5.8 pH. I'm being extra cautious since it's up in the air if the issue is light burn or nutrient deficiencies. Update: Two days before the end of week 5. The purple punch is doing great so far..glad I took cuts. Ice cream cake is absorbing nutrients but the pH is still dipping to the 4s almost every 6 to 8 hrs. I'm just going to keep adjusting the pH and keep her rolling.
