Week two of flower nothing exiting happening yet. The plants are very healthy and happy for the most part. The Purple Shah #2 has a slight mag def I have not been able to keep up with but nothing major.

They don't have brains like humans, but they have evolved sophisticated ways to perceive and react to various environmental cues, including light, gravity, touch, water, sound, and even the presence of other plants. So it becomes a dance of initiating a stretch to seek to higher ppfd, then whenever you want the stretching to slow down,UVB inhibits the stretch by altering hormone balance,, coupled with the high-intensity dli once you get her to a height where you want. Being autos I don't have much time to play around. So we are playing fast and loose, get stretched, and then spread her open. You get the idea. 86F 30% RH with the lower side of optimal on ppfd, with a smudgering of infra-red to initiate response of making her stretch more so than normal. Once she sprouts up in height, I drop metrics to 77F 55%RH% while upping the ppfd, giving her a dash of extra 430nm, giving the grow more of a 6000K. This encourages denser growth with less elongation. Higher side of optimal PPFD, with the auxin hormone balance changed, the side stems are starting to shoot up to the same canopy level as the apex (almost). Normally takes me 2 untrained toppings before a plant will flatten its canopy. I didn't take enough off the apex to do it in one chop, it was only day 10, so there really wasn't much to top from without creating unpredictable results using fim, opted just to keep it to a clean topping. Even predictability over the Chaos of the"Fim". Brainfart: Remember, the veg stage creates the skeleton that will stretch out into flowers. How dense you create the skeleton through light intensity will determine the density of your clusters as they form cola, as long as you can keep up with the demands. Increasing light intensity generally leads to plants having shorter internodal spacing, meaning the distance between nodes (where leaves grow) on a stem is reduced. Well, there's not much to say, I was only waiting for the trichomes to ripe, and I finally got a good percentage of opaque compared to the transparent ones with almost 0 amberish also because all of them are mainly Sativa. Yesterday I started the 72 hours of complete darkness so Saturday morning I'm going to harvest the babies and hang them for the first drying process. 😊 I'm really curious about the final yield I hope is gonna be enough for me and my flatmates. 😋 Keep growing fellas! 💪

The plant on the left has definitely developed quicker than the other. Not quite sure why the right plant is curving all sorts of ways. Currently dealing with fungus gnats which could be the reason but I'm glad one plant is showing strong signs. Trying to avoid harsh chemicals that may deplete microbial life so I'm hoping the plants can withstand gnats. I'm also sparsely watering to avoid further life cycles for them. Enjoying watching them grow. So far so good I hope.

The week has passed quite normally, and our girl continues to delight us with her growth. She has already grown by a whole 10 cm, and her leaves have become even wider and greener thanks to the Xpert Nutrients fertilizers that we use with pleasure. However, we encountered some unpleasant situations related to Sensi Seeds. We reached out to them with an issue of seed germination, not only with Skunk but also with other strains from Sensi Seeds. We provided them with all the necessary information about the purchase, although the receipt was not saved due to various circumstances. But, to our great disappointment, Sensi Seeds denied us, citing the lack of a receipt. We provided them with the date and place of purchase, videos, and photos, but it was not enough. Honestly, we feel deep disappointment from Sensi Seeds' attitude. We were ready to immerse ourselves in the world of their genetics, knowing that many legendary strains were bred from their seeds. But now we are disappointed not only with the quality of their product but also with the lack of honesty and support. We no longer want to have anything to do with Sensi Seeds and will seek other ways to fulfill our dreams. People, please take a look at the photos and videos and share your opinion. Did I provide enough evidence to Sensi Seeds, or should I have provided a receipt as well? I believe that integrity should come first. Sensi Seeds, you have shown your lack of integrity. People, I appeal to you: no honest and self-respecting grower can stand aside. I ask each of you to voice your opinion.

Phew. Beginning of week 3 flowering.... So it seems as if Franky has decided when to be lollipopped. A bunch of leafs and branches stopped being supported in the shaded under canopy. They have not being getting enough light and air so I had to take off the whole blueberry muffin branch and one of the korenji phenos. Besides that I noticed that some of the upper leafs have very light chlorosis and red stems. From my experience it's most likely due to very high level of calcium in my tab water and eventually also due to lack of PK. Next watering I will add some pk booster and some Epsom salt to enrich water with magnesium and eventually stop chlorosis. Also at the end of the week I will do a big defoil. Ps. I took photos and did the video after watering. That's why the leafs aren't praying as much as usual right now.

Top leaves are turning yellow probably due to excess light and heat. Temperatures are very high above 30oC in southeastern Brazil. I increased the lighting distance 30cm from the top. QB LM301H 120W

06/04/24. Going into week 5 flower. Not much to say here this week. Everything is pretty much same as last week. Seems like things are slow going. I feel like the buds aren’t doing much really and should be bigger. These are a longer going strain than my other so maybe that makes a difference. Maybe I’m just impatient. Guess we’ll see. Only thing aside from that I find concerning is #2 seems to have some pistils turning color. Seems way too early for that. I keep checking for hermie crap or pollen or something lol. If this was just its thing it seems like both plants would be doing it, but I guess you know what they say about assuming. Thanks for lookin & have a good week.

Permanent Marker was the last one standing and got the chop at day 75 of flower, nearly 11 weeks. The trichomes were still not very amber anywhere except the top sugar leaves, but it was about 90% milky white, and the leaves were all drying out. I bagged 36g of larfy buds and trimmings, 20.5g top buds, and 12g small buds. 32g smokable is not bad. I will update with smoke report in a couple weeks, but initial tests were promising. Strong chemical taste not far off from its namesake, with a KO strength punch.

My 2 permanent marker plants they are loving the light being turned up they are praying constantly there internodes are so close together they have not stretched out very far yet. I'm thinking they are going to be on the short end but who knows some plants do complete opposite when they hit the flower strech. I still have not gotten the nutrients down for the one plant I'm thinking when I flip to flower it will it will turn around nicely I love the shaoe and look of it's leaves. The day has come and it's time to flip these ladies to flower. I was planning on letting them go untill Friday and let the smaller ones grow just a bit more but they will be fine. I have the eternity cup contest in mind and I'm thinking timing so I need to get these lady done and out my tent lol. This past week I turned the light up alot getting them ready to flower they have grown a bunch inhavendone lst maybe 5 it 6 times on the branchs and they arw nit bendy anymore that will help durring flower.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are topdressed @ ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 We missed the scattered showers but it's been 80-90% humidity all day. It's been real sunny but the pots are very wet. Day 2 we had sunshine and temperatures above 80° F. The soil dried out a little today. 🙏 Day 3 we have clear skies and temperatures hitting mid 80's F. Pots dried out enough that I watered 1.5-2 gallons from the hose. Well water is 7.6 pH and 50°F. Day 4 we had thunderstorms and rain in the morning. There was lots of sunshine that afternoon, then rain and severe thunderstorm overnight. Day 5 we had lots of sunshine, temps in the mid 80's and thunderstorms and rain in the evening. The thunderstorms became severe overnight. Day 6 we had rain in the morning followed by rain and thunderstorms intermittently into the night. Day 7 we had rains early morning and then cloudy most of the day. We have sunshine in the forecast for next week. 🙏🙏🙏. This week was a very wet success. The plants doubled in height and began to grow their side branches. The rain has been constant and nearly eliminating the need to water. It's a concern to have constant rain and high humidity. I've seen fungus gnats but these plants haven't shown any signs of stress. Once again fastbuds can thrive in a challenging environment.
