Gave all the girls a thorough haircut today and worked on trying to get canopy under control. Vegatation was very thick. Doesn't look like deficency issue with F7 is spreading. Continuing to watch for any changes indicating the problem is still ongoing. Also found 4 of 5 fan leaves with Calcium deficiency over the last couple of days. Runoff is PH 5.8 and EC is 0.78. EC in runoff has been very low. I'm pretty confident it's not a PH issue at this point. Seems plants are rapidily soaking up the nutrients in the water. I also found 8 or 9 fan leaves with slight nutrient burn a few days ago. Nutrient burn seems to have tapered off and haven't noticed any spreading. Going to try adding an additional watering to the schedule to see what happens. I'm hesitant to mix stronger nutrients due to nutrient burn I started to see earlier this week. At the same time, need to figure out the cause of the nutrient deficiencies. I'm currently using the Light Feeding Schedule from Mills Nutrients (says "light", but is still 2.06 EC including 0.54 EC for water + CalMag) Need to switch to flower soon but need to figure out deficiency issues before the switch. Defoliation: * Removed quite a bit of fan leaves suffocating nodes. Girls are 10lbs lighter. Despite the nutrient issues, the girls have been filling out fast. Did a timelapse over the past couple days and can see significant growth in a short period. 02 October 2018 - Day 99 3rd day of flush and we see her begin to grow nicely. Day 100 - Happy lady as she gets densier and begins to really smell. Day 101 - She is maturing lovely. Day 102 - Orange pistols curl. She is on her way. Day 103 - Mature and ready. has thickened up significantly. Day 104 - Water topped up and pH balanced 5.4 Day 105 - Trimmed after the video.

Full on flowering. Gave first 10ml dose of bio pk 5-8 on day 37 with 1tsp bactrex in 1L water. Triton Biscotto Lime Auto is a bit behind but looks ok. All got massive defoliation and still tons of leaves... Natural form maybe was a mistake hahahah

This is where I'm at so far with them 5weeks into flower, they've had lst plus supercropping (I'm still not too sure about this so didn't do a lot of it) and at week 3 of flower I stripped both plants of all their large fan leaves they looked pretty bare but seems to have done the job

Momma Shark II is healthy and growing slowly by design. I’ve got the 400W ballast dimmed to 250W. Lots of clone sites available when needed next. Bowl design seems to work well in these 2 gal pots in a 2x2 space that should be able to accommodate 4 moms if I stay on top of training! The two trainees - 8BK and XXL and doing well with manifold development. I have 20 branches on each plant now. My plan is to transplant very soon before tying any of these down. Then start training them out to the edge of the 2 gal and then upward to create more bowl designs. They’ll be moving to the Mothership to join Momma Shark soon 😎

Great growing plant topped it at about 3rd node but it stayed a shorter plant. Very nice growth, dense buds and a hint of lemon gasoline.

Today, day 23 was the last repotting. Girls went from 11.6L to a 20L pot. Now there in the right place, serious things can begin ! I planned to top the girls on wednesday or thursday. It will depends on hos they will recover. Actually, it's my first time with smartpots. If smartpots have a lot of advantages, repotting is not one of them ! I made a mistake : the plants were 60% dry, and abviously, it was not a good idea ! It should be clearly moist. Nextime I think I will water the girls 1 hour before repotting. I hope it will be ok and they will recover from this tough moment.... Will see in a few days 😰😨 Anyway, I have generously watered them right after repotting with no nutrient. Juste clear water with the right Ph. As they are in some brand new light-mix medium, I thought they have enough nutrient for a at least 2 or 3 days. D-25 : Everything is ok. Girls seems to have recover very well :) Anyway, I'll wait at least one more day before topping. D-26 : Topping the girls. Hope everything is going to ok... Also feeding the girls right after the top. During the topping process, the plants were reduced from 25cm to 12cm.

Sour Diesel Haze is coming along. I'm starting to see what looks like a little bit of foxtailing to me. I'm going to start flushing her, then harvest in about 10 days.

What up fam, weekly update on these lovely ladies. I put the scrog net out this week for support and am I glad I did. Only after a couple days they grew right through it. The greenhouse is 6'5 feet tall and they're pushing 5'6. I'll go in there and take off some of the lower fan leafs at the bottom but not to much defoliation needed. I'm seeing preflowers so I'll also switch the nutes from grow to bloom. All in all Happy Growing.

2/4: Photo session day! Both of these girls do seem to be mostly sativa, as billed. The have a very pungent aroma..not quite normal. I removed most of the lower fan leaves. I had a total infestation of Cattus (felis) which I documented in my photos. Eradication seems impossible, so I'm opting to allow a degree of predation, but hoping trichome production will, at least, deter them soon.😁 2/5: I fed everybody today with about 3/4 gallon each and sprayed them down with Axiom harpin proteins for the last time this run. I made a DIY CO2 generator today using a 5 gallon cat litter bucket, a small aquarium pump, some air line tubing, and a bubble stone, plus 6 cups of sugar and 30 grams of wine yeast in 2 gallons of warm water. I put the tube where the CO2 is exhausted up against the back of the oscillating fan that aims down over the plants so they are being constantly forcefully bombarded with high levels of CO2(1300+ppm) from above. I set the ac infinity controller to allow the temps to climb up to 89f before the fan turns on. 2/6: These girls aren't stretching much, but continue to spend energy on their lower branches. I bought some Gro-Pro pot risers to elevate the pots so that they will dry out faster..seem pretty effective. 2/7: I foliar fed with big bloom and tiger bloom today. 2/8: I ordered a second 6" AC Infinity fan to connect to my controller, some ducting, and a diffuser which I'll mount to the wall, down near the floor. The fan unit will be in another closet, adjacent to the garden closet, and I'll run ducting up through that closet ceiling into the attic, with a filter on the end to keep bugs and particulates out. For the next 6 weeks or so, it will provide a supply of colder fresh air. I did the math, and it will now only take about 1 minute and 40 seconds to completely exchange the air in the closet. Depending on the outside air temp at the time, it should take anywhere between 8 and 20 minutes for the closet to heat back up to 80f and the fans to kick back on again. This Spring, on days when it's warmer than 72f outside, I'll disconnect the duct in the closet and stretch it into that bedroom, clipped to the window unit air conditioner output, cranked down as low as it will go. This Summer, I'm gonna just run a pair of the quantum boards and grow 4 or 5 autos in there, but this should help keep the temps cooler in summer as well, without dedicating an air conditioner to the grow op.🙏 2/9: I foliar fed them with grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom and checked moisture in their pots. They're due for a good watering tomorrow.
