Everything’s wonderful. But a lot of work to do @ the moment.. Today I had to realize once again how different a run can be. One Dark Devil has given up. So I had to harvest her. About 2 weeks early. This specimen had already resented the topping, I think. She didn't show much effort to become more branched and was already pre-flowering in week 2. I am looking forward to a few suggestions or opinions from you, dear garden friends. I'll put photos in a moment... Normally, I wouldn't top an automatic of the Red Family from Sweet Seeds from experience. Somehow they had problems more often, when I did. When they were fully grown, they were usually very productive and healthy. She simply had too weak nerves. But that's ok. My nerves are also pretty down. Due to the loss of my beloved Quimaria - I miss my sweet cat girl insanely. That's why I didn't want to interrupt this passage with the good old Secret Jardin to set up the Homebox. Too many beautiful memories stick to this tent, because my ladybug always sat at the edge of the bed, when I did my gardening. For me, this also means a kind of farewell. This plant also began to bloom after a very short time. But I'm happy about more space, because all the other comrades-in-arms like it very much and everything is progressing properly. She behaved as if she was already slightly over time. Little perspiration. And no changes were noticeable. Leaves with an autumnal touch. But a wonderful berry-like scent. Now I have hung up their flowers to dry.

Hello all and thank you for stopping by. Not much drama this week as things have settled down and we're finally seeing big growth. Day 16 - Really nothing happened here. I did water with my remaining BS Molassis/Epsom salt solution. PH corrected up to 6.5 Day 17 - Here is my only real drama. If you see in the corresponding picture I have shriveled and yellowed tines on my 3 bladed leaves. This is because I left my light to close for too long. Because I wasn't paying attention to the distance between the light and canopy (Only monitoring the height of the plant) for about 3 days the canopy was getting closer till this day when I realized. I raised the light to 20" about canopy and remaining at 60%. Good news is my exhaust fan controller switch and ducting came in. I set it up and love how much more stable my Temps and RH have become. Day 18 - Today I started bottom watering and what a difference I'm noticing. She just sucked up the water and the growth moving forward was satisfying. Day 19 - Just monitored the environment on this day. However the damage to the leaves is done but the colour came back so Ying yang ☯️ Day 20 - again nothing but monitor the environment. I started rotating the pots 1/4 turn per day Day 21 - Bottom watered today and she took almost 500ml. Sprayed top down As well to moisten top. Added sticky traps for pest control. Also adjusted light up an inch to please the canopy. Day 22 - Today I rotated the pot 1/4 turn, misted the top of coco and monitored environment. She has about 3 nodes now although tightly packed. Breeder did say she was a short bushy girl. Overall the plant is coming along nicely and I'm happy with her growth. The stunting could have been my over watering in seedling or maybe it wasn't that bad, looking back that is. Logging has helped me so much as I often feel I'm not doing enough, then look in my logs and see, no you did that shit yesterday. Thank you to everyone who said to keep notes. 💙 Project Blue Tent – Week 11 🥒 Pickle Lemon Haze F1 – Pheno A 🌸 When The Best Intervention Is No Intervention Hello everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of Project Blue Tent! 💙🌱 And honestly... I think this might be one of my favourite stages of the whole project. Not because we're doing more. Quite the opposite. Because we're finally at the point where we don't need to. 😂 Pickle Lemon Haze F1 Pheno A is looking absolutely beautiful. The structure is established. The canopy is open. The second SCROG is doing its job. The irrigation is running beautifully. The drainage system is working flawlessly. The nutrition is consistent. The under-canopy lighting is now part of the equation. And the flowers? Oh my God... The frost levels across this tent are something else. 🌸❄️ So this week isn't about another big intervention. It's about observation. It's about appreciating what we've built. And most importantly... it's about letting this beautiful girl do what she knows how to do. Grow. Flower. And shine. 💙🥒🌸 🌸 WEEK 11 – THE GIRL IS JUST DOING HER THING Pickle Lemon Haze F1 Pheno A is still sitting at approximately 145 cm. The stretch has settled. The structure is established. And now we're watching the flowers develop across the entire plant. One of the things that continues to impress me is just how even everything looks. The flowering sites are developing remarkably consistently. The canopy is extremely even. The bud formation is happening at very similar stages throughout the plant. And the frost... well... the frost is absolutely beautiful. 😂❄️🌸 This is one of those moments where you walk into the tent and think: "Okay... I really like what I'm seeing." And honestly, that's exactly where I want to be at this stage. The major work has already been done. Now the plant is showing us the result. 💡 THE UNDER-CANOPY LIGHTING GETS SERIOUS Last week we introduced the first LumiFlora under-canopy light into the project. This week, we decided to bring a second one into the game. And looking at the size and density of this room... it just made sense. The main LEDs continue providing the primary light from above. But these plants have developed a very substantial structure. There are flowering sites throughout the middle and lower portions of the canopy that naturally receive less direct light from the fixtures above. So instead of continuing to remove more foliage just to chase light penetration... we're bringing supplemental light to the lower canopy. And I really like what we've created. But we didn't simply place the two bars side by side. That would have been too easy. 😂 Instead, we decided to play a little. The LumiFlora bars are approximately 1.20 metres long, with the central section around one metre, and because of that length we were able to arrange them in an X-cross configuration underneath the canopy. From corner to corner. And honestly? It looks fantastic. 😂💡🌱 It's functional... but it also looks really cool. The two bars cross through the lower portion of the tent, creating a much more interesting distribution of supplemental light underneath the plants. The idea remains simple: Don't replace the overhead lighting. Complement it. Give the lower canopy another source of usable light. And then... watch what happens. 🌿 TWO LIGHTS. ONE EXPERIMENT. This is one of the parts of Project Blue Tent that I really enjoy. We're not simply installing equipment because it looks impressive. We're introducing something because we have a reason for it. The plants have become tall. The canopy has become substantial. The lower portions naturally receive less direct light. So instead of fighting the structure... we adapt the environment around it. That's cultivation. Observe. Adapt. Measure. And then observe again. And now that the second under-canopy light is installed... I'm extremely curious to see what the lower flowering sites do with that additional light over the coming weeks. That's the experiment. And Pheno A gets to be part of it. 🕸️ THE SCROG IS DOING EXACTLY WHAT WE WANT The SCROG structure is also looking fantastic. The first net helped us build and distribute the canopy. The second SCROG is now providing additional support as the flowering branches continue developing. And at this point? We're not really touching it. That's intentional. The structure has been created. The branches are where we want them. The flowering sites are developing. And the support is there. Now we let the plant use it. This is another one of those moments where doing less can actually be doing more. We don't need to constantly move branches. We don't need to keep pulling everything around. We don't need to keep opening something we've already opened. The architecture is there. Let her work. ✂️ DEFOlIATION – NOW WE WATCH THE RECOVERY The major defoliation from the previous weeks has also become part of the story now. When we performed that work, the difference was dramatic. The plants went from extremely dense to much more open. And now we're seeing the result. The flowering sites are much easier to see. Air movement through the plant is much better. The branches are easier to follow. And the plant has had time to recover and redirect her energy toward continued flowering. This is exactly why I don't believe in constantly interfering with a plant. There is a time to train. There is a time to defoliate. There is a time to support. And there is a time to stop touching things. We're at that last one now. 😂 The plant doesn't need us to keep proving that we have scissors. She needs stability. So stability is what she gets. 🌬️ AIRFLOW – TWO LEVELS, ONE HEALTHY CANOPY The airflow setup is also continuing exactly as planned. We have movement through the upper portion of the canopy and additional circulation underneath. With the under-canopy lighting now running through the lower structure, maintaining good air movement down there becomes even more important. The goal isn't to create a hurricane. 😂 It's about avoiding stagnant pockets and keeping air moving through the entire plant structure. The canopy has opened beautifully. The flowers are developing. The lower lighting is now active. And the air is moving. That's exactly what I want to see. 💧 IRRIGATION & DRAINAGE – ZERO COMPLAINTS And I have to give some love to the irrigation and drainage system this week. Because honestly... there is nothing to complain about. 😂 The irrigation is working beautifully. The plants are drinking well. The water distribution is consistent. The drainage system is working absolutely spotless. No drama. No complaints. Just doing its job. And that's exactly what good equipment should do. It should quietly do its job while we concentrate on the plants. The girls are drinking. They're developing. And the system is keeping up with them perfectly. I'm extremely happy with how this part of the project is performing. ⚗️ NUTRITION – SAME RECIPE, DIFFERENT EC Interestingly, despite not changing the reservoir recipe, this week's EC came out slightly lower. And honestly... I don't have a definitive explanation for it. 😂 The recipe itself hasn't changed. We're still running: PLAGRON Hydro A — 2.2 ml/L PLAGRON Hydro B — 2.2 ml/L PLAGRON Hydro Roots — 1 ml/L PLAGRON Power Buds — 1 ml/L pH Plus — 0.03 ml/L pH Min — 0.03 ml/L pH adjusted as required Yet the measured EC came out around 2.24 mS/cm instead of the approximately 2.49 mS/cm we saw previously. My guess? Possibly the rainwater source was simply a little softer this time. But I'm not going to pretend I know exactly why. Sometimes the numbers simply move. 😂 And that's another reason I like documenting everything. We don't have to invent an explanation every time something changes. We record it. We observe the plants. And we continue watching. The important thing is that Pheno A looks happy. She's drinking. She's flowering. She's building. And visually... she's absolutely loving life. ❄️ THE FROST LEVELS ARE INSANE Now let's talk about the obvious. The frost. 😂❄️ Seriously... look at these flowers. The amount of visible trichome development across the tent is absolutely beautiful. And Pheno A is certainly not being shy about showing hers. The flowers are developing with a heavy, frosty appearance, and the sugar leaves are absolutely covered. This is one of those stages where photography becomes dangerous. Because every time I take a close-up... I end up staring at it for five minutes. 😂📸 The flower formation is progressing beautifully. The structure is becoming more defined. And the frost levels are getting better and better. We're still not at the finish line. But we're getting into that really exciting part of the journey where the flowers begin looking less like early flowering sites... and more like proper flowers. And I absolutely love it. 🌿 SAME TENT. SAME CONDITIONS. REMARKABLY SIMILAR PLANTS. This is probably one of the most fascinating parts of the entire experiment. All four girls are sharing the same tent. Same reservoir. Same irrigation. Same lighting. Same environmental conditions. Same nutrition. Same cultivation approach. And when you look at them... it's honestly incredible how similar they are becoming. Very similar canopy development. Very similar flowering stages. Very similar bud formation. Very similar frost levels. And yet... each plant still has her own personality. That is what makes this project so interesting. We're not comparing four completely isolated grows. We're watching different cultivars experience essentially the same environment. And the response is fascinating. A LITTLE CULTIVAR LESSON And since we're documenting this properly, I want to take a little moment to explain something I often mention in these diaries. I like using the word: "Cultivar." You'll sometimes hear people call every plant a "genetic" or simply say "the genetics." And I understand what they mean. But technically, they're not quite the same thing. Genetics refers to the genetic makeup and inherited characteristics of an organism. A cultivar is a plant variety that has been selected and maintained through cultivation for particular characteristics. So when we're talking about these F1 plants in this project, I prefer referring to them as cultivars rather than simply calling them "genetics." And honestly... if you already knew that? Fantastic. If you didn't? Now you do. 😂🌱 There's never too much information when we're talking about cultivation. I love learning. And if something we mention here teaches somebody something new, even better. That's another reason I enjoy documenting these projects. We're growing plants... but we're also learning from them. 🌸 PHENO A – HER OWN PERSONALITY And although the four plants are looking remarkably similar right now, Pickle Lemon Haze Pheno A still has her own story. She's been through the stretch. She's been through the major canopy management. She's been through the defoliation. She's been through the SCROG. She's been through the structural adjustments. And now she's simply showing us what all of that work has created. Her canopy is beautifully organized. The flowering sites are developing evenly. The frost is impressive. And the plant is drinking beautifully. She's not asking for another intervention. She's asking for time. So that's what we're giving her. 🌸 THE TOPPING AND CANOPY STRUCTURE Looking closely at Pheno A, one of the things I really enjoy is seeing how well the topping and training have opened the plant. The structure is no longer fighting itself. The branches have space. The flowering sites are exposed. And the canopy has developed into a very even structure. The work we did earlier in the project is now becoming visible in the flowering architecture. This is the part of cultivation that makes all the earlier work worthwhile. You train a plant weeks ago... and then later you stand there looking at the flowering structure and realize: "That's why we did it." 😂🌱 And Pheno A is showing that beautifully. 💙 NO UNNECESSARY INTERVENTION So what are we actually doing this week? Honestly? Not much. 😂 And that's a good thing. We're monitoring. We're checking the environment. We're watching irrigation. We're checking drainage. We're watching the flowers. We're watching the frost. We're observing the response to the under-canopy lighting. We're maintaining the reservoir. And we're letting the plant do the rest. There's a temptation in cultivation to always do something. Change something. Adjust something. Move something. Cut something. Add something. But sometimes the best decision is: Don't. If everything is working... don't fix it. If the plant is healthy... let her be healthy. If the flowers are developing... let them develop. If the irrigation is working... let it work. DIFFERENT EXPRESSIONS. One of the things I'm really looking forward to over the coming weeks is seeing whether these similarities continue. Because right now... it's impressive. The plants are developing at remarkably similar stages. The canopy is extremely even. The flowers are forming beautifully. The frost levels are high. And yet, if you look closely enough, each cultivar still gives you little details that make her recognizable. That's exactly what we wanted from Project Blue Tent. A shared environment. A consistent approach. And individual plants telling their own stories. 🔭 LOOKING AHEAD – LET'S SEE WHAT THE FUTURE HAS FOR US At this point, I'm genuinely excited to see where these girls take us. We've built the structure. We've managed the canopy. We've supported the branches. We've established the airflow. We've got the irrigation and drainage working beautifully. The under-canopy lighting is now in place. The nutrition is consistent. And the flowers are developing incredibly well. Now... we wait. How much more will these flowers swell? How much further will the frost develop? How will the lower canopy respond to the supplemental lighting? How much weight will those supported branches eventually carry? And most importantly... what will Pickle Lemon Haze Pheno A ultimately become? Those are questions I don't need to answer today. The plants will answer them for us. And that's the beautiful part. 💙 FINAL THOUGHTS – LET THE PLANT SPEAK Week 11. And what a beautiful week. There were no dramatic interventions. No major restructuring. No big defoliation. No desperate attempts to control the plants. Instead... we watched. We introduced a second LumiFlora under-canopy light. We arranged the two long bars in an X-cross configuration underneath the canopy. We kept the irrigation running. We kept the drainage running. We maintained the same reservoir recipe. We observed the slightly lower EC. We kept the airflow moving. And we admired the flowers. 😂💙 And those flowers deserve some attention. The bud formation is beautiful. The canopy is incredibly even. The frost levels are absolutely insane. And Pheno A is looking healthier and happier by the week. What's perhaps most impressive is how similar these plants are becoming under the same conditions. Different cultivars... same room... same environment... same reservoir... and remarkably similar results. That makes me even more curious about what we're going to see later in flowering. Because if this level of consistency continues... we could be looking at something very special. But we're not going to rush it. We're not going to force it. We're not going to keep changing things simply because we can. We've reached the stage where patience becomes the most important tool in the room. So for now... we watch. We listen. We measure. We maintain. And we let Pickle Lemon Haze F1 Pheno A do what she does best. Grow. Flower. Frost up. And shine. 💙🥒❄️🌸 The future is looking very, very interesting. What a monster I'm happy to have stepped up to the big pot. I'm going bigger 😳🤓.... This girl is a little restricted but I gave her a good defoli and the smooth light is spread out as best as i can get.

The plant has become a real monster. I expected it to be stretched for another 4 to 5 days. But it has stopped growing and is now producing flowers. I used the vegitative fertilizer again for the nutrient solution. In a few days she will receive a nutrient solution for the flowers and then I'm very excited. The treatment with BAC was very successful

Week 8 of flowering: Managed with only water this week. It's noticeable that this is a slightly slower strain: it's maturing slowly, with compact buds turning golden hues. The aroma is old-school, earthy-sweet, very promising.

WEEK #23 — THE FINAL COUNTDOWN Spoiler: Just moments before the axe. Slush Mint Cake has lost a few stems already during the week, great evening occupation. Im still not so sure about her. The blossoms and general impression looks totally ready imo, and some leaves even turned „necrotic“/crispy. The smell is heavy and nice, with a certain, kinda insane spiciness. But there are almost no amber colored trichomes. Like really just a few scattered ones. But all things must end. Worst case the result is not perfect, i guess, and will it even get better on the other hand with a few more days? Well, i have one seed left, so i can find out next time. 😎 Reasons for that could be plenty: the switch of fertilizer last minute and connected change of ph. And again, also might be because of the tacky LED-controller: i realised touching it the wrong way just resets it (fml). And how have i found out? Because the light was switched on way later as it was supposed to be. The solution then was to re-apply the „scene“ in the App and it magically works again. Manual timer switch has been ordered already. 0 points, dear Mars Hydro (maybe it's bad luck and incompetence from my side, take it with a grain of salt). And that's — i guess — also the reason (spoiler) why i found some bananas in the Bottom half of Skywalker Haze. And i surely do not blame the genetic for that (at all). Hmpf 💩. Well, still lucky this happened right before the showdown, so it want matter all that much, i suppose. Back to Business: SMC very, very pretty. Rich and loaded all over, pictures speak for themselves i think (have a look at last entry as well, please). For Skywalker: clear visible Amber trichomes, especially on the top buds. White ones not so easy to distinguish from the clear ones (at least for me) The outer most tips of the leaves turned light, so another sign of the advanced state of the plant. I Like. Some cute pink tips as well. Similar to SMC rather small buds, but hey, if qualityquantity thats Fine for me. 🤩 Also a very pretty plant, with a more classic look, dense, a slightly more proportion of leaves. Smell? Yes its true: lemony-herby all oover, in a way also spicy Rich (lemon Pepper). In fact both plants have been harvested, for Skywalker mainly the top Part, as the bottom buds were light and soft. As i have mentioned before, probably should have removed them After Stretch, but: All buds are equal, the deserve it. Let's see what will happen. So far: Bravo Dutch Passion for both These extraordinary strains, looking forward to the final results and the effect of both. See you in about 3-4 weeks with the "harvest" posts, peace! 🙏

Day 1 drying: Really nice strain! Easy to grow, medium dosage of nutrients. Smells amazing, I’m really curious how they will end up after the drying. Let’s see in some days. Drying day 7: finished and damn the terps are amazing! Smells and taste amazing. It reminds me of amnesia but in a mix with mimosa. Super special. I do really recommend trying this one out. But I would recommend using living soil over coco!

Update 12/8/2021 Keep on Rocking!😎 having a hard time getting the climate at a constant lvl. doing the best I can with the equipment I have🙌 Update 15/8/2021 from day 43 on i've started to add Calmag to each watering. but after a couple of day's it seems new leaves are still getting brown spots. not really sure what to do.. The nutrient schedule I'm using 1/4 of what is recommended by the Bio-bizz schedule. all plants are given the same amount.. 3 of them are showing some deficiency's and 1 plant is looking really healthy. Update 18/8/2021 Hello Folks.. pffff deep breath My plants are really suffering.. only 1 is doing a really good job. the others really look sick. leaves starting to yellow cetting curly and crunchy.. I did pluck away most of the dead leaves but at this rate there is going to be nothing left 1 one week. I have no real clue what's going on as it's looks it could be several things. it really feels i'm constantly running behind the facts. I know this is my first grow and all and every decision I make will teach me a great deal for the future. Today I ordered a digital PH/EC/PPM meter so I can actually see what exactly is going on and make decisions from there. I am afraid the PH of 7 really blocked out the Nudes that have been given but I am not really sure so let's wait like 2 more days so i can start measuring stuff. the past 2 days it only flushed the plants with water at an estimated guess of 6PH. but the crappy analogue PH meter that i put in the soil still tells me the the soil has a PH of nearly 7. What I really don't understand is how 1 plant really doesn't show any symptoms while i gave every plant the exact same water/nutrients etc. Well fingers crossed. what a hobby🙌💪

On peut remarquer 2 phénotypes, l’une un peu plus claire en terme de couleur des feuilles et l’autre plus foncée. Évidement je suppose que la qualité des Leds compte.. j’ai observé par rapport à d’autre journal que la plante ne s’étire pas comme d’autre mais elles sont en bonne santé c’est l’essentiel ! One is lacking behind from the start. They look good to me.

All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids)TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate what will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely with the ppm and ratios listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 3. Bloom Mix recipe is on week 5. Day 49 VPD is okay now - temps at 75F RH also now at 65% with ILVent at 50% = VPD of 1.04 - ppfd also same as yesterday mostly 480 to 490 around the ring with 510 and 520 in the center Took ph readings as well - 3 readings 6.43, 6.48, and 6.37 to avg 6.426 Which is good because she's starting to show signs of stress after the topping and defoliation from a couple days ago. The leaves are starting to curl at the tips and the bronze color stripping is happening again - however this time seems to be a slower progression so Im hoping that having the correct ph this time will help while she's re-routing her resources. I 'did notice also that the growth tips seem to be growing at a slower rate than before - I think she's at her limit in colas and the roots are having to find more space to spread, may even be too big for the 5 gallon pot. I have no plans to change her out just yet, but will monitor. Soil is drier today - so I will be watering tomorrow with de-chlorinated water at 6.4ph Day 50 VPD was good at 74/64 with the tent open while I feed that I left it open for a bit and took time in feeding and cleaning - after all that still good at 74F/61%RH/50%ILV ppfd was checked after water and setting back - same as yesterday as most of the newest growth is still coming from the new colas - most seem to be adjusting 1 at a time in each split but both are showing growth now on all cuts. Started feed by making new ph buffer solutions, calibrating/testing both meters. The have about a .15 variance between the two. Checked weight and made 1.5 gallons of feed. started at 228ppm added 450ppm veg and 150ppm bloom for a total of 833ppm feed/epsom salt - splashed h2o2 and ph'd to about 6.4- I fed via watering can and spray and fed the whole amount slowly since I was feeding until bottom drip and she took it all before starting to bottom drip. Afterwords I let her drain (about a quart came out) and checked ppm from runoff at 2500 (telling me she's okay but isnt eating as much as before her topping yet) ph is a mystery - I show 3 readings from top level of 6.62, 6.57, and 6.57 for an avg 6.586 but 2 separate readings from 2 meters (4 readings total) on the bottom runoff showed 5.3 and 5.6 then confirmed later. I expected a variance since the wood ash probably stuck to the top side of the soil - but I didnt expect that much of a difference. I will monitor but honestly dont know what I should do, if anything other than watch. made a video of the fan movements and runoff drip Day 51 What I am calling "stress burn" is progressing as expected. I am monitoring the ph from the top as I did before, but again, not much I can do other than over water, so I'll just watch for now and compare rate of spread until she fixes her resource pathways. It seemed to take about a week to clear up after the ash treatment last time, so I am on day 3 of 7 for now with no treatment. Looking for a spurt of new growth to show and then I'll know she's better. Adjusted the lights to accommodate a week 6 level of 500 to 600 ppfd - that means I can raise the lights to the top of the tent and increase power. So now set at 3 tick up and 37 inches from the soil or 26" from the plant top. Now her ppfd reads about 540 on both of the center colas and 500 to 510 on the surrounding ring. Adjusting lights meant I had to adjust the fans up to medium power and re-directed them to blow at the edges of the pot; made a video. VPD is steady, but still warmer than typical (only by a couple degrees nothing too much) 76F/61%RH/50%ILV for 1.15 kpa on room VPD Day 52 VPD is higher now that I have the lights to the top of my tent and the fans on the lights blowing down at the pot. I moved the IL Vent to the top sucking out with the motor and vent outside the tent now. I also opened two lower air holes with my heater set for fan on the opposite side of the tent than the vent. Currently, I am at a max of 1.2 room VPD and ranging down to 1.0 so I'll take it until it does something else. 74F/65% RH/75%ILV - I will monitor to ensure it's stable. ppfd is same as yesterday as there's little growth still. Spots are still progressing on the oldest leaves at the same rate as before - however the newest leaves are not showing signs yet, so I will continue to monitor. Day 53 ppfd was a little changed today, showing that there's growth coming back now. lowest on outer ring was 500 with most at 520 and 530 highest, center colas were tested at 540 and 560ppfd. VPD was stable as I watched it most of the day since I made changes yesterday. Temps were 74 to 76 and RH was 61% to 68%. ILV was set to 33% with the bottom heater on fan to draw in air. lockout continues on the oldest fan leaves at the last top nodes. New growth is already marked in a couple of spots. I have about 6 gallons of tap water burning off chlorine now and will use about 2 gallons to flush at 8ph. I plan to dunk this weekend with feed so this will allow time to dry out and hopefully reset the ph and lower my ppm readings at the lower part of the pot before then. Day 54 Took Control pics measured VPD and ppfd Lights are at the top of the tent and second tick from highest power level. Lights to soil is 37 inches and lights to plant is 12 inches shorter so 25 inches leaves to light. currently ranging 530 to 550 around the ring and 575/580 ppfd at center (after feed and replaced). Moving the lights (day 51) made the tent hotter so I changed my ILVent to suck out at the top and fresh air in at the bottom - I have been fighting to keep temps under 78 managed to hit 74 to 75 with the heater being set just to fan for the bottom air vents- I did also raise humidity to a setting of 65% a day before moving the lights, so Im hitting 61 to 68% between power cycles on the humidifier. Overall Tent VPD is 1.0 to 1.2 as max. Took controls for feed. Weight 16lbs 11oz. tested and calibrated 2 meters and took 4 ph readings of 6.55, 6.77, 6.53, 6.85 to avg 6.675. from top of soil (last runoff measured 5.6 and 5.3 on two meters) prepared 2 gallons of feed at 500 ppm over tap. (burned chlorine off overnight) starting ppm was 217 - added 75/25 veg/bloom ratio. ph balanced to 7.8 and 7.63 on separate meters (rinsed and retested to be sure got 7.79 and 7.63 again) I used 4 knitting needles in the soil about 3 inches from the plant center. Poured feed water over the needles until it pooled slightly on top of the soil, I then pulled the needle out a little to allow the water to drain into the holes better. I did this in 8 different spots. As soon as she started dripping water from the bottom I poured a little on the leaves and then moved the plant to another drip pan to finish pouring the rest over the top of the soil without dripping any over the sides. Took videos of the drip and waited 10 min before putting her on another clean drip pan and back in the tent. Runoff from second drip pan was measured twice at 5.8ph and 2410 ppm - and first pan 5.85 and 2670ppm (expected higher ppm since I moved perlite on the bottom with the needles) Defoliated the oldest leaves before lights out. Day 55 She mostly looks like she appreciated the clippings and ph balance from yesterday - slower progression of the lockout issue and largest new growth since topping day. So speaking of new growth, I plan to use LST in the next few days to set these colas in what will hopefully be their last bind around the ring. VPD is steady at 75F to 77F and RH is between 63 and 68%. My ILV have been set to 33% and the lower fan blowing rather than heat. top soil ph was measured with 3 readings, on a tested and calibrated meter. 6.47, 6.7, 7.12 to avg 6.763 (kinda wild in those readings so I double checked them all twice and got the same in each hole)
