Day 92: what’s happening guys! Week 14 is here. Temps have been okay and humidity has been okay. I’ve got the 400w hps set up and it’s dropped temps slightly and slightly raised humidity which is what I wanted. In my opinion she’s looking ready for the chop! I’m seeing plenty of cloudy trichomes and a few ambers and I’m going for less of a couch lock so I’m thinking around now she is ready. I started plain water 6 days ago and she’s recieved 2L,1L and then 1L again today. All leaves have started yellowing, I imagine this is the plant pulling the nitrogen from the leaves as there’s none at the roots. How much longer does she need to be fed plain water for before she is ready for the chop? Thanks! Stay safe and happy growing✌️🌱🍁 End of the day edit: I decided to harvest the majority of her. The bottoms just a bit under developed so I’ll leave it going a bit longer. After chopping and taking photos out of the hps light the nugs are looking a tinge purple although I can’t see it as strong with my eyes. Hopefully I’ll get a wet weight later so I can add it to the diary later on. Temp is around 24c and humidity is 45-55. How does that sound? I’ve got extractor at the top and a fan at the bottom. We’ll see how long it takes to dry, hoping to go for atleast 5 days. With the virus going around I’m really making use of what I have at home so hopefully the climate will hold up🤞 any tips and advice about drying and curing etc is hugely appreciated🙏 I’ll be back with the harvest update once she’s dried out✌️many thanks happy growing!🍁🌱 She weighed in wet at 110 grams. Ok, very nice week here. Plant is stinking haha, very sweet smell. Trichomes are looking very cloudy and are starting to turn amber so am gonna hold off on nutes, or at least cut them down. Hopefully harvest end of this week or next week. Issues with the leaves seems to have stopped after adjusting the pH and adding some calmag.

A-Day 53 (into week 8) B&C-Day 49 (end of week 7) A - She is stacking well, and feeling greasy! The smell is coming on stronger everyday, frost is just starting to build up. There is a distinct transition as the leaves go through veg to early flower to late flower. Uniform all around, not very tall, but she is hardy and thiccc! B- Full flower now, so many tops! She has shown to be a slower flower developer than A, but the flowers she are developing are almost completely uniform all across the 🌱! I assume because there are so many they will be a little slower. I put her ties back on, and the middle shoots exploded with new stretch and growth, so she is still in that stretch/flower stage. C- what can I say, patience is a virtue. She is looking lush and vigorous. With this being a slightly longer to finish auto strain, she has had time to recover from a) being a runt, B) having slow growth, c) having almost no training and lighter nutrient feeds her whole existence. This is also my control for Topping, she was not, A and B were. This strain is clearly hardy and able to withstand multiple techniques, we’ll see what the end the result is compared to her sisters. All three plants received a full nutrient feed x2 this week. That was: 3 gallons dechlorinated water mixed with 12 ml Micro, 12 ml Bud, 20 ml Grow, and 6 ml Sensi Extra CalMag, PH’d to 6.2. And another very low feeding of 1/3 that mixture mixed into 3 gallons of water. Ive heard many growers who instead of just watering, they will do a much lower strength of nutrients included in their watering, and ultimately never not feed their plants nutrients until flush. Thoughts?

Our Blue Dream by Zamnesia is the only classic strain we are growing in this round and since your friend breadandbuds loves that golden one I could only try to bring out the best in her. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and one left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed, in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same strain. In this diary we find the plant worked with the main lining. The low internodal distance flats are fantastic but not the most suitable for this technique, I enjoy applying it anyway because it is too much fun. The small arms of branches are less workable and tend to be less elastic because the stiffening phase of the hemp naturally comes earlier but it can be done. In fact, little by little we are arriving at a very good result, not even in too much time to tell the truth always a month and a half of veg maximum and then we go into flowering. Slow down with nitrogen while doing this technique, you may not need everything that is recommended by the manufacturers, so if the leaves become too dark or worse, the tips of the leaves arch downwards and the leaf becomes "crunchy" we are at the moment to lighten or stop the basic grow fertilizer. . Comparison is the salt of experience, so the plant in the other diary will be worked very differently, go and see it to compare them. My 3 Jack Herers' have started to pre-flower. Nutrients will be the transitional between veg and bloom . Lots of side branching on all the plants with Ellie may trailing behind

This is the sixth week of flowering. The plants feel really nice. Their water consumption increased, so I have to water them three times a week. First time I give them nutrients, the other two times I only give them fresh water. This week I gave them Green Sensation by Plagron. This is the first time I am experimenting with this additive. The lights are still at 80%+ sunlight simulation is on.

FRIDAY 11/9: I rotated them and increased blue spectra for their 6-hour "nighttime." Added another 25w 15.0 UVB with reflector over them. Lowered all the lights about 2 inches. SATURDAY: Today was their last feeding. I went heavy with the cha ching, terpinator, bembe, and bud candy, and just a little big bloom and tiger bloom, plus calimagic. I'll let them dry out for a couple days and start flushing. SUNDAY: Rotated them and plucked some necrotic stuff. Need a close look at her trichromes, but all three of them are about ready to be flushed. Super stinky!😋 MONDAY: I took some photos and zoomed in on them with my PC..they are definitely ready for flushing. They'll be ready for a big clear drink of water tomorrow.👍 TUESDAY: Today, I douched all three remaining bloomers with a few gallons of ph'd water each and plucked some dead shit. I'm so glad this crop is almost finished! Can't wait to clean out the big tent and get it ready for the new crop. They'll start flowering any day now.. WEDNESDAY: I did nothing really except for taking a few photos and re-positioning the UVB lights a little.

It’s another week of flowering for my plant, and it’s turning out beautifully. You can slowly see purple colors appearing on almost all the buds. All the buds are covered with tons of trichomes — I can hardly believe it, such a beautiful plant.

Alright... not everyone bounced back and it´s like they´re working in two speeds! 😩 Some are thriving and I´m struggling to keep up with the training and others are lagging and don´t offer me much to work with. 😅 I had to rearrange the pots to even out the canopy and did some more defoliation. 😉 Was planning to experiment with the light schedule by removing an hour a week until it reach the 12h, but its getting too cold and the temp drops a lot with the lights out. I might keep them at 17 or drop to 16/8. But definitely I´m trying it out in the summer. 😎 The damage is done and now just have to make the best of it! ✊

This longevity provides a lasting positive effect on soil properties, particularly by increasing the cation exchange capacity (CEC) over time, while regular organic matter breaks down much faster. Biochar generally offers a much higher CEC than coco coir, though specific values vary greatly; while coco coir might sit around 40-60 cmol/kg, biochar can range from tens to over 200 cmol/kg, with sources like Acacia wood biochar or even coconut shell biochar often surpassing coco's capacity due to its porous structure, creating significantly more cation-binding sites for nutrients, making it superior for nutrient retention. Needs to be charged similar to coco but at a much higger rate. But shhhh.. it's a secret. Recommend a balanced ratio of key cations, particularly calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), and potassium (K). A widely accepted general "ideal soil" cation saturation ratio is approximately 65-85% Ca, 6-12% Mg, and 2-5% K. That's roughly what mine gets.
