Have been slacking on keeping notes however in the past weeks I have top dressed with 1tbsp/gal of GG 284, treated her with a generous amount of growers ally crop defender 3 that got rid of 95% of the bugs on her, moved her to a spot that is not in the path of light put out by a light on a power pole, and trimmed off all of the large yellowing leaves. After weeks of waiting she has finally shown her preflowers and will be getting one more good defoliation this weekend before flowering fully kicks in and she is focused on bud production. All is on the up and up even though we had a slight decline in plant health and my worriness for her but it seems as though she is loving life at the moment.

Might be experiencing some nute lockout I'll dial back the nutes even more to flush, flush, feed. Watering daily, the medium drys out almost completely every 26hrs and then she wilts. Lots of air flow in this setup with a fiber pot so just trying to keep it wet really. 1000w HPS is amazing in this small of space I could get 2 or three plants in here next time.

Aug 3: this is a very promising looking plant. She’s quite big and flowering quite quickly which is a great combo. She was the exact same size as my other photoperiod until the start of flowering two weeks ago, and now she’s bigger and flowering faster. Humidity is quite low during the day so I’m continuing to mist the leaves a few times during the day. Did a foliar spray of Extreme Blend and potassium silicate this morning. Aug4: did a major defoliation to remove small lower buds and stuff that was growing in toward the centre. This improves light penetration and air flow which are super important but also forces the plant to direct the energy where you want at the main colas, and not wasted down below. Aug 5: lots of buds forming quickly on lots of decently uniform colas. Should be good. Big rain last night but plants were in dark garage. Watered this morning with 27 C water that had blackstrap molasses, soluble seaweed extract, Monster Maxx and Cal-Mag. Did all four on the weak side of the standard concentrations listed and just 1L used on the plant. Much cooler today so she won’t need as much water. Aug 6: added UV lights from AC Infinity. Very well deigned and manufactured like all of their gear. These are indoor lights so fair weather use only. This far north (53 N) we run out of strong sunlight before it gets too cold in the fall. Idea is to use UV lights for a couple hours each day centred at peak sun (currently 1:39 pm). UV light is the main environmental limit on THC and this will make the light in Edmonton in September more like California in July. Should have a big impact this far north. At other end of light spectrum, I use Forever Green Indoors (FGI) 730 nm far red light as a bloom booster. A few seconds at dusk is all it takes for the far red light. I poured it 3 times with 1.2 l this week. Tomorrow I will add the 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom because the first blossoms are coming :-). I checked all the leaves thoroughly for pests or diseases and everything is fine ☺️. Next week I'll look at your roots as soon as the coconut is completely rooted. As every week, the tent was cleaned and the entire technology checked. The humidifier was also refilled every day 👍. In the next few days I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up being wasted in the small popcorn buds. I wish you a lot of fun with the update. Aquí unos vídeos de la segunda semana de floración. Ya tiene los led definitivos y la malla más abierta, hace rato que pasaron a la 8 ball kush. Los riegos eran de medio litro cada dos o tres días todos ellos con fertilizantes. Se me olvidaba comentar que la red mandarin es de flor roja y de las tres solo una salió con ese tono que me está gustando bastante y otra cosa que no comenté es que la 8 ball tiene dos semanas más de crecimiento que las otras pero se le hizo lst y podas apicales a varios brazos.. las red mandarin solo fue una poda apical a cada una antes de la mallla.
