I wish I could have put them in then tent a few days sooner to speed up growth but all good, ladies needed a few extra days in there. They were transplanted on the last day of this week. Doing a tent full of autos this grow, 20-4 light schedule with 7 plants 7 strains. this diary of course will just be covering my lady purple haze. I put them in 1gal pots for now and will be trans planting to 3gal in about 7-10 days.

The plants are really beautiful with this huge top, the flowers underneath are large and very fragrant. They are dark green and white really nice. The resin is really sticky and fragrant, I can't wait to harvest

Pflanzen jetzt in der ersten Blüten woche bzw. In der vorblüte wachsen sehr schnell und gut bin sehr zufrieden. Auf dem Balkon ist es einfach anzubauen.

The strain is fantastic! While my yield was slightly less than anticipated, I'm not complaining because I truly appreciate the quality.

At day 20 I switched to flowering and sent my light schedule to 12/12 hours of light/darkness, therefore this is the first week of flowering now. I know that these plants from seeds are still to immature to switch to flowering directly, but they will grow slower with 12/12 until they are old enough to flower. This should happen when they are appr. 4 weeks old from germination, then they will be mature enough to be able to flower. I do this, because the Growfor.Life-Closet is limited in its heigth and I want compact and short plants at the end, so i can keep a minimum distance to the LED-lights from SANlight, which are built into the closet. The minimum distance should be appr. 25 cm from the canopy. At Day 25 the biggest three plants (=Double Dutch from Serious Seeds and OG-Kush from Humboldt-Seeds) have grown so many leaves that they start to touch each other and condensed water is building up between them, the plants seem to sweat. This means I have to defoliate the plants again in order to get a better airflow and also to let the light penetrate deeper into the canopy. You can see a video-tutorial for defoliation I made on Day 25. The scissors I use in the video came WITH the closet, they have a special anti-sticky coating and work like a TREAT! During the defoliation I recognize that one sidebranch of a Double Dutch plant is TRIFOLIATE (see in pics!), this means each node grows three instead of two leaves and sidebranches out of it. That is a rare occurrence in cannabis and can be seen like finding a 4-leafed clover. Although this should mean good luck, I also realize more and more fungus gnats flying around and put some sticky yellow strips (=sticky traps for insects) inside the closet. The plants also seem to get a little bit lighter in their green color in general, therefore I decide to start adding nutrients (=PLAGRON-TERRA-BLOOM) to my waterings now. All in all the plants grow like hell (the biggest one is appr. 30 cm tall at the end of week4) and develop excellently...I LOVE THE EXPERIENCE WITH MY GROWFOR.LIFE-CLOSET until now!

Very good week. The new plants are 24 days old. That’s how they are supposed to look at that age! They will be much bigger plants than the others because all was dialed in for this new batch. With autos there can’t be anything off or they won’t really get to big (typically). The older plants 6-8 weeks old - will be excellent smoke still just not as big as they can get. Start of week 9. The smaller plants are 31 days old. All looking very very good. I upped the cal/mag The TD and LS will harvest in around 3weeks. I always run them close to 1-2 weeks past recommended. They really frost up and gain weight the last 2 weeks. Excited about the new plants. When they are dialed in I’ve gotten 3-7 Zips from each plant. Pretty amazing for soil grow. Hydro is faster in the beginning and sometimes the entire grow but soil when all on point can keep up with hydro (after a few weeks) and lots of time surpass hydro. Definitely in taste and terpenoids. Happy growing! Any comments appreciated. I love learning about this wonderful plant!

🌸 Woche 5 der Blüte Die Early Skunks sind jetzt mitten in der Blüte und entwickeln sich richtig stark. Der Stretch ist so gut wie durch und die Pflanzen haben ein schönes, gleichmäßiges Blätterdach aufgebaut. Die Blüten werden von Tag zu Tag sichtbarer und setzen schon ordentlich Harz an. Das DWC-System läuft stabil: frische Nährlösung, klare Werte und die Wurzeln strahlend weiß. Genau so soll es in dieser Phase aussehen. Die Pflanzen nehmen sehr gut auf und zeigen keinerlei Mängel oder Stress – Farbe, Struktur und Wachstum sind voll im grünen Bereich. Das Klima bleibt konstant und das Setup arbeitet sauber zusammen. Licht, Luft und CO₂ greifen perfekt ineinander, wodurch die Pflanzen richtig Tempo machen. Fazit: Sehr starke Woche. Gesunde Pflanzen, satte Farbe, stabile Blütenentwicklung. Day 28: I got home from 10 days of holidays and these girls had cruised along as if I had been there with them the whole time. They are very happy, especially the middle one. The small one on the right has always been small, is what it is. She could be a stack little shorty. Time will tell. I did a feed today, top dressed according to Gaia Green at 15 ml/ gal of media which should last approx 2 weeks. I also added a bit more 444 just to make sure there’s enough N during this stretch phase. All 3 have pistols showing and are starting to flower. I was unable to train as much as I’d have liked but is what it is. Sometimes the more indica strains I’ve done are negatively effected by topping and excess training. I removed a couple huge fans that were shading too much of the plant. I also am trying a “super cropping” of top fans to get them out of the way but still save them as a nute source if they need. We’ll see how it goes. The Vipar spectra xs2000 is killling it as usual. As I’ve said 50 times it’s super powerful and I’ve had to raise the light above recommended height as I started to see leaf edge curl and light stress. No problem at all tho, better too powerful and raise it than too weak and have loose buds. I did a micro top just to stop excessive apical meristem stretch and leaving all the other lower branches too low for effective light absorption or burn on the top cola. Happy Growing 🌱
