Week 8 - Oct 26 to Nov 2nd Alright so upon reflection in Week 8 of my Chem-Bomb Auto diary it was not the best week but nothing disastrous 🙌 Random November heatwave got the apartment room up to near summer temperatures but the airflow was fine with an open tent + second fan. Crisped the tips a bit with the heat and upping the nutes. This advanced nutes stuff is very salty for a soil grow and even the small amounts reported above, split between the 4 plants, still end up getting to the fan leaves. Using Molasses and plain water feeds between nute feeds this stuff is still very touchy. The Chocolate Mint OG Autos are bigger overall plants with more stretch in the last week. A lot more bud sites but overall the buds are still smaller so hopefully it finishes strong and really plumps over the next few weeks. More in Week 9! Thanks for checking in! It was a easy strain to grow and was happy with the several watering she needed! I was feeding her every couple of days and she rewarded me with some immense dense buds! I have one more of this strain that might be heavier! I just got done with my 2nd plant and she was a big one! Got 792grams or 27 Ozas Wet weight! My best so far with a 5 plant limit this is the weight of only 2 of the 5 I grew..

The ladies are looking good this week. 2 of them on Wednesday had a few twisted leafs, so I have been trying to figure out how my ph got high. My normal routine is to prep the water the day before feeding to the correct ph. But finding after it sits over night, it rises from 6.5 to 7.1. This has now been corrected and only time will tell if these two ladies decide to untwist. My topping is looking really good, I've enclosed a photo of the beautiful knuckles on them. Trying to decide if I should top again, and when can I? I think the SCOG net will be coming out real soon, maybe this week or next. My one shorter girl has gotten bigger, but still considerably shorter than the rest. SCOG, should give her a chance to catch up. I'm really looking forward to this grow, and being my first, it's been really enjoyable. I only wish I picked up this hobby sooner. I find it fulfilling and relaxing.

After defoliating both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants after week 11 they now develop more and amore flower clusters, since the light can penetrate deeper int the canopy now. The plants are producing trichomes like crazy, even the bigger sugar leaves are covered in them! VERY FROSTY PLANTS! The flower clusters clearly form colas now along all side branches and both plants fill up nicely. The smell is now strong and sweet with a clear peach aroma to it, it makes me smile every time I look into the tent. The plants love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are getting the recommended dose every watering.

Continuing slowly on towards harvest. I Have discovered something bad looking under the microscope though, and im fearing the wortst tbh. Might have to be thrown away :(((((((((

Hey everyone! Do-Si-Dos ladies are growing inside the grow tent now and under a 250w HID, which is a HPS since my MH bulb burnt. They are growing very strongly, fast and healthy. With a decent thick stock for their age I believe. This genetics are very strong, so far no problems, no stunt growth. Made a 4-way topping, where you must leave 2 nodes only. The plant had around 6 nodes before topped. Will start LST on branches and shape them for the scrog I might apply later. They leave a sweet smell scent in the air. Roots are also growing pretty fast. Thxx 🙏

I just dropped it in water and rootjuice for 2hrs and then direct in peat pellet and after about 50hrs she was saying hello ✋ I'm very exited to start this experience whit exotic seed can't wait to grow this strains 😵

Esta semana incorporamos al cultivo 2 barrs de led 1 barra led kappa de 100w y 1 barra led lunatek de 100w Empiezan a tener ya flores y ya trabajamos hasta el corte con 830w totales. En las fotos se veran las barras Las plantas estan muy fuertes podeis ver la poda de ramas bajas maximo hasta el dia 14 de floración, mas tarde pueden estresarse mucho las plantas. Proxima semana veremos como estan de altas y loc cogollines como van avanzando

Day 59 Finally Fruit Spirit is going into 48 of darkness after 6 days of flushing.... She smells and looks just tasty cant wait to chop those girls in 2 days!!!!! 😬😁🙌

Week 16 - Day 103 08/16: Harvested Aaliyah on 08/15, Day 102 from soil and Day of flowering. After one week of pure water for Aaliyah, some of the trichomes have turned amber. I decided to harvest about 3/4 of the plant. Some of the lower buds didn’t receive enough light during the grow, so I’m hoping they can grow a little more before I bring the whole plant down. I also removed some of the dead and very young growth that was coming up. I didn’t have another spot to hang the buds because of the smell, so I tied them over the other plants. Now that she is mostly harvested, the smell has increased. I now have Annie on the side so she is getting less direct light. She already took some bleaching on her main colas. Alexis still has about a week left. I’ll check her trichomes before the next watering to see if I should start flushing. 08/18: Aaliyah’s harvested buds were getting close to being dry, so I decided to start cleaning up some of the sugar leaves. The smaller, less developed buds got chopped up and set aside for some dry ice hash. Since she was on the left side of the tent, a lot of her colas did not receive enough direct light. I hung up a few of the nicer looking ones that I’m keeping as flower to finish drying. [General notes: I still don’t have a scale to take note of the exact wet weight, but I’ll make sure to have one for the dry weight. And since all three plants are of the same strain, I’m going to wait till the last one is chopped up before posting the full harvesting results.]

Day 9 I had no choice but to defoliate, the canopy was getting way to dense and humidity was hard to control even with my 30 pin dehumidifier. Hopefully will not affect to much. Probably I will do another defoliation on day 21. TDS stays at 550PPM this week and CO2 at 1200PPM.
