This one has been delightful to grow full of buds everywhere with very little Fan leafs can't wait to cure and tested. I have cut down in jar everything the wait was 97 grams please consider that when they comes to my scale weight i wait until the main stem breaks with a loud crunch and the buds are really dry to the touch reason for it I have a very busy life and at the end of the day this is just a hobby so I cannot be opening those jars many times a day at most one in the morning and one in night so I want to avoid mold on them.so I push in a Boveda pack to keep them nice Thank you for reading I will update the other details when ready have a happy grow.

This week started with flowering. The lst was a bit too agressive and one little branch broke but I save it. I applied more lst to the plant this week. The plant doubled the size within a week. I had a pH problem that im fixing, the soil at one point due to nutes hit 4.8, way too low. The flowering is in full power now, I did a flush to adjust the pH and tomorrow will add new nutrients and control the pH. All good for now, a little of stress is visible on the leaves, is due to pH and strong light. For the rest everything else is going fine. See you next week.

To be honest overall this strain done good so as the others. Reflecting back on how i started with just a tent and light, and slowly buying the fans and filters whiles the plants were growing. But i did want these plants to grow naturally without topping and Low Stress Training. I regret not removing the lower branches becuase i did get alot of small airy buds down there. But it was all trial and error. All i done was remove some fan leaves when good to do so every now and then. Not on a mad level tho, i did have alot of sugar leaves which i will be making some stuff with! At veg the plants had deficiencies due to out of date Biobizz bottles. But that got sorted with the magic of Algimac and Calmag. Overall Next time I will definitely train the plants and maybe top a few. Final Yield: Plant #1 21.88 Grams Plant #2 33.36 Grams Plant #3 56.06 Grams Which yield exactly 110 grams! Ounces come out very fat with these light buds Not bad for the conditions they were brought up in, and with no training! Thanks for everyone who has followed this diary throught out the journey! 2 GIRLS IN 1 CUP: This round I have decided to grow the BANANA KRUMBLE from GREENHOUSE SEEDS. It is a cross of Banana Punch with the original OG-Kush and said to have a very strong effect, which makes it a good medicine against my chronic backpain! In the catalogue description of Greenhouse it says the buds grow compact with big colas and get a purple coloration. Since I LOVE PURPLE VARIETIES OF CANNABIS I decided to give this strain a go. 😃 I planned on doing 4 plants in a SCROG (=screen of green) with longer veg time to train the plants into my trellies, but all 10 seeds germinated well and grew into healthy seedlings, so I decided to keep 8 instead of 4 plants and do 2 plants per pot --> hence the title of the diary: 2 GIRLS IN 1 CUP ... 😉😜 In my HOMEBOX Ambient R120 growtent I use four 20 liter pots filled with soil amended with BIO TABS nutrient tablets (3 tablets per 20 liter container plus 100 gram Startrex, 6 gram Mycotrex, 2 gram Bacterex) and watered it with Orgatrex (5 ml/liter water). The Bio TABS nutrients are VERY CONVENIENT, after amending the soil I only need to give pure tab-water for the rest of the cycle, which saves me a lot of time. Since the soil is self-regulating with BIO TABS I als do NOT need to measure the ph- or EC-value of my water and adjust the ph-value. No mattter what, pure tab-water is all thats needed from now on...yiiippie. During veg. (4 weeks after germination) I use two SANlight Q4W-Gen.2 LED lamps, which are dimmed to 40% (=no green light on dimmer ON) for the first to weeks and then increased to 60% (week 3) and then to 80% (week 4). At the beginning of flowering I add one Q3WL-Gen.2 in the center of my tent and increase the dimming slowly from 40% to 80% over the next few week. The spectrum and the light intensity of the SANlight LEDs are OUTSTANDING and PERFECT FOR GROWING CANNABIS! Unfortunately I didnt take any pics before week 12, therefore I described the setup here. Now in week 12 (=week 8 of flowering) all 8 plants have developed HUGE colas, which are GLISTENING with TRICHOMES and already show a BEAUTIFUL purple coloration. 😍 You can see an nice overview in the video above. The plants have a sweet smell (like cinnamon with banana) with a gassy and fuelly undertone from the Kush...simply DELICIOUS!

I started feeding liquid nutrients this week. Although I’m using Nature’s Living Soil Super Soil Autoflower Concentrate mixed with Fox Farm Ocean Forest—so technically I could water only until harvest—I decided to begin liquid feeding in Week 3 at half the recommended dose. I also have a Tray2Grow Autopot system for automatic bottom feeding, but I haven’t activated it yet. When using liquid nutrients via top feeding, I’d need to turn the Autopot system off and wait until the plants absorb all the water in the tray before feeding from the top. Afterward, I’d have to manually turn the system back on. That seems like a hassle compared to just hand-watering and feeding. I could technically add the liquid nutrients to the Autopot reservoir, but that somewhat defeats the purpose of the system. The tank holds 25 gallons—enough to last a few weeks—but if I want to change or rotate nutrients weekly, I’d have to dump the remaining water and remix the solution each time. If I wanted to feed nutrients every other watering, I’d be changing out the tank every 3 days. Plus, liquid nutrients can cause buildup, so I’d need to clean the reservoir and all the tubing regularly. For now, I’ll stick with hand-watering and top feeding. I’ll only switch to the Autopot system if I need to leave town.

06/15/2020 Harvesting a good amount of pollen, not sure if you can see but it is cloudy in here. Female will be fed Happy Frog fruit and flower 9-4-3. And that will be all she gets till harvest time (seeds popping out.) Next week male should be spent, putting out clouds of pollen every day very copious amounts! And diary will continue till I harvest her seed. Just topping off reservoir with plain water for the male I have got 1.3 grams of beautiful pollen to selectively pollinate only the finest of female specimens for at least 6 months. Cookie Cake will get dusted with this bad boy. As well as Red Sky #1

Definitely would’ve been better had I not moved but nonetheless it was a great run overall, super frosty and sticky with not very dense buds which made for a difficult trim but I didn’t mind.

D43. The first day in the second week of flower, everything is good in the tent. She might be small and stunted, but she looks healthy, vibrant, and strong. ------------------------------ D45. There's nothing to report, really. She is quietly doing her thing, and there isn't much for me to do at this point. The mushroom kit seems to have just died after harvest, and today, I noticed some mold and removed it immediately. It was a fun experiment that didn't work out as I'd hoped. Oh, well :) ------------------------------ D47. Zzzzzzzz... flower is so dull as there's nothing to do but wait. ------------------------------ D49. There's not much to report at the end of the second week of flower. Yesterday, the entire tent was without power, so there was no light or exhaust for five hours. Ugh! Fortunately, I was making some compost tea and discovered the lack of power when watering. I gave the girl 2.5 liters of compost tea and humic acid @ pH 6.6. ------------------------------

Ok these auto girls have been through a lot the past few weeks: three different nutrient lines, multiple flushes, LST, a bit of supercropping. All from a newbies first grow. So at this point I think it's safe to say, these AK48 girls are pretty bad ass. Coming near the end of my 4th week and they are flowering! I can not believe I've made it this far. They look great, growing daily, and make me smile every single day. I was having a lot of nutrient issues up until I received my sample set of Oregon's Only line. Holy crap y'all my plants look great with this stuff! This line just feels more intuitive for me. I had used the GO box nutes, then some Fox Farm nutes so I know I needed to flush before using the OO nutes. It worked out. I just went for It and used the recommended full strength. Running my pH at 6.3-6.5 flowering in coco coir/perlite. I feel there needs to be a slave to the plant song? Because that's what I've willingly become. I had shoulder surgery this week and not feeling super hot, kinda depressed. But looking forward to taking care of these girls each day has really put me in a good mood. Since my shoulder is out of commission I've enlisted my daughter's help with helping me with watering, etc I water with full nutes when the fabric pots feel light.
