On week 8 i just gave these girls a water feed because i been dealing with ph problems so i ph my water at 5.0 - 5.4 for about week and a half to try and bring the levels downs so far its been working the ph reading today was round 7 -6.9 so happy now we can move forward. Did a lil Lst today to get the new site growing taller. So happy growing and cheers

Second week of flushing. Took accurate measurements today. Tallest blueberry headband over 50 inches tall! The rest are coming in around 3 feet. Took microscopic photos of the tricomes today. Some appear to be milky, while others seem to be transitioning to amber while some are still clear and transitioning to milky. Thoughts?

Blue Cheese, smelling pungent, nice sweet musky smell.. Can definitely tell it's cheese. Day 52 today, started her flush on day 50 and will take her to at least day 64/65 giving her a 14/15 day flush, maybe longer but i'll see. Slight nute burn that i'm aware of but nothing overly major, doing really well otherwise. Can't wait to try this one. Thanks for following along people. Stay tuned

Starting this grow from a vegging clone i had from a friend.. the clone was under 18hr light and got to me when it was outdoor 13hr light and days got longer Decided to do something big outdoors with a big pot bottom-less to the ground so root can go deeper. This clone was used to 18hrs - then i introduced 13hrs (days getting longer - arround june 1st) - so it started to flower (i took it as a consideration and planned it ahead) To be continued

This is the sister diary of the Runtz showdown, in which we pit two great performing strains created by two highly acclaimed and respected breeders, in a duel to the death. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos 3 weeks of Flowering Completed 19th March 2020 Hi folks , I hope everybody is keeping safe and well during these trying times. 😷 The Ginger Nut cookie plant might end up needing a new name because she smells like pineapples and other fruitiness. 😛 All of the buds are starting to fatten nicely and have a generous amount of resin being produced. The rainy weather is back but this time instead of it being humid , it is getting cold especially at night. None of this seems to be having any detrimental effects on her but to be safe I put the pot under cover when it's raining. Just feeding the botanicare pure blend pro grow now , her soil ppm has been pretty steady on the one lady. he lighter color bigger girl has been super hungry . She's gonna be a monster the nodes swelled up to support some monster branches. Can't wait to see how they fill out. Gotta water them later so I'll snap some photos of the stalk and limbs just to show how bulky they have gotten. But they are looking great , been stupid easy so far just keeping the soul free of salt building up aswell as trying my best to not over fertilize .. (nitrogen is pretty high I've noticed the darker green on the other girls. Besides the smaller plant it's PH is low from the automatic watering thing im trying out) Really trying to get more time so I could be alil more detailed. New growers ask about my water routine but it's hard for me to explain atm . Gonna work on it and see of I can do these any better. If ur reading these and have any kind of input please comment and let me know. I'm always looking for constructive criticism/ feedback.. But I appreciate anyone's time checking my mess out lol. Very nice plant to grow. Beautiful flowers covered with trichomes. The smell is very lemon citrus flavourt. She gave a bit of a stretch. I think she isn’t the biggest yielder but definitely quality over quantity. Later on the results. Very pleased sofar! I underestimate the density of the buds. Dry weight 375 gram of 5 plants. Pheno number 2 yielded almost 100 gram! Powerfull lemon flavour with a touch of sour. Running pheno number 2 again!

Light up to 70 %power. Run off was 1200ppm organic still so will feed next time for first time bloom nutes. White preflowers starting to shoot up all over the place. Will continue with a bit more lst throughout the stretch period.

*** RESULTS ARE IN *** Final results are in! Updated with pics of dry-trim and weigh-in :) Total yield was 228g of bud + 45g trim to be used for tincture. Total weight 273g / 9.75oz This was way beyond what I was expecting! Was hoping to get around 6oz from this grow, so the final result has absolutely blown my mind. But more importantly, it's a !!REALLY!! good smoke :) I've taken half oz off the top and put the rest into mason jars for curing, but even without a cure, the taste is good - sweet and creamy. The smell has come on LOTS through the drying process. When I chopped, the smell was fragrant, but not too strong. Now, you can smell it across the house and no mistake. It packs a punch too, very potent high - Can't wait to share with a few friends :) ********** Well, this has been an awesome experience for my first grow. Thankfully, these girls were super strong - they took a LOT of abuse in terms of high temps (up to 38C some days) and survived me being an idiot in the early days and not really knowing what I was doing. But here we are! Almost didn't want to chop them down..... but I got over that pretty quick. Total wet weight from both was 1339g (47.8 oz), of which about 150g is popcorn / larf. Super impressed with the yield :) My aim is to be self sufficient, in terms of yield being able to last long enough for another grow cycle to complete. With a rough estimate of 3 months per cycle, and based on my current usage of approx half oz a week, I would need this to result in about 6oz when dried, and I think this could be achievable. I will update the dry weight in due course. Can't speak to the quality yet. As tempting as it is to quick dry a test nug for a cheeky toke, I'll wait for it to dry properly, so I can really appreciate it. I've waited this long to harvest, another couple of weeks won't kill me. Also, I still have some of my current stash (hopefully the last weed I'll ever have to buy!). It's really difficult to be patient though, because DAMN it looks good. I'll give the buds a good manicure and dry trim when they're ready. It smells really good too! The smell is not overly powerful, it doesn't slap you in the face like some weed does, but it's delicious! Fresh, bursting oranges, with just an undertone of that unmistakable weed smell......It's like The Man from Del Monte is stood behind you in a queue, and he has an eighth of dank in his pocket that he doesn't think anyone else can smell. If I had to say I've learned anything along this journey, it's that it's better to be prepared. Research things that COULD happen and have necessary stuff on hand when you need it. Don't wait until that deficiency shows before ordering what you need and finding out it'll take 2 weeks to ship (fuck you, covid-19). And there we have it.... will report back once dried for the final weigh-in and smoke report. Stay safe, stay high :)

We’ve decided to order a microscope to keep a closer eye on the trichome development. Additionally, we’re considering ordering CANNAZYM, a nutrient that could help our buds grow even bigger and healthier. Here’s to another week of growth and progress!!
