Today the girls are 17 days old and are looking great and growing fast. I performed LST last week for the first time, i decided to get rid of the bend and let them grow upwards. Im currently bending the branches to encourage them to grow outwards. I also use the ponytailing technique. By tying the uppergrowth in a ponytail 5 hours a day you maximize the light penetration. I repeat this process 3 to 4 days in a row The girls had their first feeding of Canna Terra Vega at 0.5ml p/L and are loving it so far.

Buds are bulking up nicely 🔥🔥 some loud citrus and tropical terps coming through 🤤🤤

Changed all water, switched to flowering fertilizers. I built the bio-filter, I'm waiting for the silicone to dry and I'll put it between the two tanks, connected to the circulation pump.

Day 5 since time change to 12/12. Hey everyone ☺️. Finally the time has come :-) The lady moved into the flower tent on January 6th, 2021 😁. The day before, of course, a cutting was taken 👍. In the flowering tent, the distance between the plant and the lamp is 40 cm so that she can get used to the strength of the lamp. After 3-5 days I go down to 30 cm. This week it was watered twice with 1 l per plant. GHSC enhancers were added to one wash :-). Flower fertilizer will only be added in 12-16 days as soon as the first blossoms are there :-). Otherwise the tent was completely cleaned and the humidifier refilled. For the next few days I have filled fresh osmosis water in canisters again :-). Next week I will remove the bottom shoots so that the energy doesn't end up going into small popcorn buds 😉. D64 - We're at the start of the fifth week of flower, and the girls are looking better day by day. However, a few days I noticed very minor leaf damage on two leaves on the second girl that "might" be thrips damage. It's not a huge deal since the girls will finish in two to three weeks, but I figured it would be prudent to be proactive before the next grow, so I ordered some Cucumeris predatory mites. They arrived today, and I hung a sachet with mites on each girl. D68 - Today, I disconnected the Inkbird controller and humidifier that kept the humidity in the tent high. It is getting towards the end of flower, and I want to decrease the RH in the tent to avoid botrytis. I also set the exhaust fan to run constantly. I hope that will be enough as there isn't enough space in the tent to fit a dehumidifier. #tinytentproblems D69 - The humidity in the tent is still too high for my liking so I had to get creative. I drilled a hole in my dehumidifier so that it can hang in the tent. It's only a small dehumidifier and not very powerful but the tent is tiny and the dehumidifier should be enough to drop the RH by around 10%. D70 - We have reached the end of the fifth week of flower and the girls are rocking it in the tent and their buds are getting fatter as each day passes by. It's only a waiting game at this point although a game where I'm trying to avoid budrot. I adjusted the light schedule yesterday so that the hottest hours of the tent are during the coldest hours of the day. That should even out the temps a bit, and I also keep a flap open on the tent to further reduce the temperature and humidity. The girls are looking great and I would hate to get botrytis and lose part of the harvest.

So here we are with the last chapter of this journey which had many ups and downs but overall was a great experience. I love growing, it slowly became my passion thanks for GD and the community. It makes so much better, and lot of fun, one can interact with others and can learn from each other. Thanks for everyone who was with me in this last 2 years, you made me a better grower.🌱🌞 So let’s talk about the progress. I grew Liberty for the second time because it was my first photoperiodic strain 2 years ago and totally impressed me with it’s high yield and the effects. I wasn’t disappointed this time either. She had great structure, responded well to topping and training, and was resilient to pests. The germination rate wasn’t as good as usual and finally got 3 different phenotypes from the 5 germinated seeds. I topped them once and performed low stress training to get a flat canopy. The strong structure and rate of growth was impressive in the first 10 weeks which was actually a vegetative phase. They didn’t have any nutrient issues and even though they were under stress for two weeks (was my fault) in mid flowering, they performed really good. So it is a stress tolerant variety in my opinion.👌🌱 The buds are large sized and fat with medium resin production and a different scent for each phenotype. They aren’t dense and sticky like some indicas, but that says nothing about their potency. Flowering time was longer than the breeders recommendation but it's worth all the patience. Four plants were harvested 10 weeks after switched to 12/12 and one after 11,5 week. The harvest took place in several phases and some were immediately trimmed, some were hung with leaves. Calyx to leaf ratio was high except one plant so was relatively easy to trim. Plants which were trimmed after drying was easier this time.💚✂️ Based on the name, you'd really think it's a strong sativa strain but actually, this plant is a balanced hybrid, and it shows in both the growth characteristics and the effect. I am satisfied how this grow turned out however I know that it could have been better without my mistakes. In those two mid flowering weeks when the VPN was off and they were in stress I lost both the yield and the quality of the bud structure. So the total weight is 475 grams. 41 grams ore smaller airy popcorns and the rest are nice nuggets. I weighed the plants separately because I stored them also like this for later testing and smoke report.

24 HOUR CONTINUOUS LIGHT FROM GERMINATION TO FLOWER. I HAVE ALWAYS RAN 24 vs 20/4.I have had 0 pests in 3 years or growing and I use my lights and 0 heaters. It’s a set up that works for me. I have ran 20/4 in the summer to reduce heat but I didn’t feel I had the same results. Any one growing auto should try at least once.

Day 43 and i have to apologize for not updating this girl the past week or so, but non or less here she is,and she is doing great, i wold risk saying to much great that today wen i open my closet, half of her couldn’t take the wait from the fruits she’s producing so i pick up some yo-yos and try to fixit the best i could, should’ve put my net or something, my fail on that department and now im paying the price. Still feeding bud booster and k but i will very soon stop it all and start just watering, i believe she will go for whatever still is in my soil and after she will go to her reserves and start the fading out for her end of season . I think in a couple of days or so i will defoliate her since i notice that some parts are not getting enough light.
