Hello this is the end of week 3 and the beginning of week 4 of flowering. Did a trim up last week. Removed the bottom sucker branches and fanleaves and some top fanleaves. For better air flow and light penetration. Better chance of "not" getting bud rot and WPM with better airflow... And A bud get bigger, with the more light it gets. So cut back some of those top fan leaves for bigger middle buds. The pics show the resin is just starting on the top leaves by the flowers. Time to turn up the light to 65%... and 75% next week OK. Welcome to week 4 For Enigma in this Seedsman Tiny & Rare pot contest. After a bad start to week 3 she recovered well. Today I have added an air hose into her pot. It's run by a 5v 1w usb pump, connected to a 5v 2w solar usb panel. Using this I have been able to test the effectiveness of the light at different angles and ranges. The pump runs at full power within 30cm of the light. From there it slows rapidly down to 70 where it stops completely. I need a better light. Day 23: I have reconfigured the tent. I replaced the solar panel with a plug as I need the air to run when light is off too. My idea here is that if you can DWC with airstones, maybe if I blow air to her roots she can handle being in a saturated medium, thus allowing me to ensure she always has nutrition available. If it works as I hope, I may be able to have her exceed the size she might otherwise achieve in this pot. I have refilled the pot with fertigate every time the bubbles stop. There is no way its evaporating this fast. She has now been totally saturated for at least the last 6 hours and no drooping. Day 24: Been a bit lazy topping up her liquid but I'm confident the air pump is working as intended. Day 25: Enigma is on day 2 of a little dry-out experiment. Day 25.5 Enigma was wilting, so I fertigated her until the pot was full and then topped her up again twice. Day 26: Drowned her. Whoops. Day 27: Let her get too dry. Whoops. This is not easy. Day 28: End of week 4. Enigma suffering. It's difficult to get a balance between sufficient nutes and moisture levels.

Yes! It reversed, now it's going to self and create more feminized seeds, the selfed ones probably be like clones if the strain is stable enough, if not, it'll show 1-3 phenos in my experience.

Biotabs program goes on : a big shot of orgatrex (10 mL/L) with bactrex (1 g/L). Plants #2 & #5 still don't have pistils and look bad... I guess they'll go to compost too! From 10 seeds to 4 living plants... not my best run. light is now set to 45 DLI for 18h at 30 cm. 2023/06/26 : still stretching... #2 - 38,5 cm not flowering, looks like it's dying. #3 - 32,5 cm OK #4 - 41,5 cm OK #5 - 26,5 cm not flowering, looks like it's dying #6 - 32,5 cm OK #8 - 31,5 cm OK 2023/06/28 : removed futur popcorn buds... and took a few shots of first trichromes. 😀 #2 - 48,5 cm X #3 - 37,8 cm OK #4 - 46 cm OK #5 - 33,5 cm X #6 - 34,5 cm OK #8 - 32,5 cm OK

July 9 Mixed 1 tsp of RAW Grow with 1.25 gallons of water and PH'd to low 6s. Fed about 1 gallon. July 10 New nutrients seemed to take well. Leaves perked back up like usual. July 14 Got some RAW Bloom out for delivery. I think that will help with the yellowing lower leaf tips. Will feed 1 tsp per gallon tonight and will mix in 3 teaspoons of epsom salt too.

Started intense stress training by bending the main stems below the canopy line. She has stopped smelling completely which is a good sign the flowering has flipped nicely!

First experience, low budget set up, poor product as expected i wanted to try and flavor profile was nice, produce a sleepy effect as i intended but buds are not hard or dense, as i expected…

7/3/25 Topped her twice since the start, also started to bind her down for even light distribution. Feeding at 50% strength (lucas formula) and keeping the ph between 5.7-5.9 only adjusting if it reaches 6 and more. Can't wait to flip 7/7/25 All good. The only thing worrying me is the roots turning a little brownish, no smell tho. It might be the micro or calmag, its my first time doing dwc and if anyone has an idea let me know! 7/10/25 Roots, PH and PPM! She is recovering well from another topping. The smallest plant in the tent but damn the smell on this one. Can't wait to flip in a week or two. I hope I will get a really nice pink flower out of this pheno, but I have another few seeds for a little pheno hunt I can pop in the future.

Alright grow cycle, mistakes, improvements, etc... She did stay in veg for too long, her growth was slow and not the best and so she took quite long, next time i'll be there from the beginning so I can take care of her throughout. But her growth is really fun. It is a tall growing sativa with fairly tight noding when trained accordingly, producing long filled colas. The buds grow fairly dense and fluffly but do air out a little when dried. Trichome production was pretty impressive as well as terpene production. She had thrips since her early days but did not seem to mind them at all. I did spray them initially but once flower started I stopped. I believe predatory mites might have been feeding on the pupae in the soil, if that is what this specific species of thrips did, the reason I say that is I could never see adults only larvae. Whatever the case maybe they were there but the population never really increased. Something I did not mention during the grow is that those plants were played music during the days, music that is apparently developed for plants. The 10L pot was WAY too small for a true sustainable living organic and to provide enough space for the plant, that was a mistake, I'd say a 20L would be the bare minimum and still. The bigger the better. The hempy transfer did not hurt the plant and I believe even helped to some extent, BUT, I am still running test on the subject and so can't confirm anything, here are my observations Roots did not colonize the perlite, a little on top and the sides but that was it, I was expecting to see a big root mass in there. I believe hempy are great for salt fert as it hold a soup of nutes where the plant can feed from since the coco only holds very little Whereas in nature most nutrient are in the top soil where the highest amount of decomposition happens, this is where the highest microbial activity happens and so where the plant will find food. Living organic is trying to reproduce nature and so there is no need for the plant's roots to gather at the bottom of the pot. Although it could have potentially provided the plant access to a larger amount of water and possibly more oxygenation of the pot. Those are all theories, please speak up if you have other proofs. In conclusion , unless i get proven otherwise by someone or my latest running experiment , I will not be using hempies again as I believe it brings more complication and issues than a simple fabric pot. The lights, The 600w at the start was good, then I decided to add a 400w...😂 That was completely overkill and not necessary. Waste of electricity. And they started suffering from too much light it seems at some point, I raised the light by a good 30 cm and they were fine. 600 is more than enough. I am happy about how the soil performed but it has room for improvements. As for the watering technique I have been watering large ammount every few days, next time I will be giving constant small amount of water each day and a soak every week or so, I believe the soil might perform better under those conditions. She was also an easy plant to harvest whit her long colas which had very little foliage, I do trim in excess as I like my buds extra clean but the buds are not excessively bushy. The trims were use to make some bubble hash, around 100g of wet trims yielded around 1.5-2g of bubble hash. I did add a negative effect but only because it wouldn't give me a smile otherwise, but to be honnest it barely dries your mouth. The soil is going to be recycled and reused in a next grow. I can't think of anything else at the moment but if you have any question don't hesitate.

The stretch has started. Very manageable since they started flower on the shorter side. Some adjustment to feeding and a good leaf striping mid week. Pheno number 1 has broad leaves and a very tight node spacing compared to the other four. Number 3 has shown to be very vigorous in growth and cloning. Number 2 is the runt and slow but stinks. The others are very similar. The girls got fed after the leaf strip the next day they looked really happy.
