Hello Diary! This time on the "Farm" there are two new strains from Royal Queen Seeds, Watermelon Auto and Purple Punch Auto. In this diary we will dedicate ourselves to Watermelon. 😀 I would like to thank James of the Royal Queen Seeds for sending me these strains. 🙏 LET'S START FIRST WITH THE FARM SET-UP: Box - Secret Jardin DS120W 120x60x178 Lights - MIGRO 200+ Ventilation - Blauberg Turbo - E 100 Filter - Primaklima filter PK 100/125 Fan - Oscillating Koala Fan Humidifier - Beurer LB 45 Soil - BIOBIZZ Light - Mix Pot - 11L AirPot Seed - Royal Queen Seed Nutrition - BioBizz and RQS Organic nutrition A few words about Watermelon Automatic. The breeders from RQS set out with the intention of crafting a strain that lights the taste buds on fire. To achieve such a tantalizing terpene profile, they selected two of the most flavorful parent strains available: Tropicanna Cookies and Lemon OG. Both of these varieties are packed full of limonene, myrcene, and other fruity and earthy molecules. Watermelon Automatic emerged with a genetic makeup of 75% indica, 20% sativa, and 5% ruderalis. The speedy autoflowering strain managed to inherit all of the tasty terpenes from her ancestors. These are the characteristics, we will now see what it will look like on my small farm. LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY: 14/01/2021. Planting. After cleaning the Farm (GrowBox), I prepared everything I needed. Soil is a Light-Mix from BioBizz, Air-Pot's, Organic Additives that I mix with soil. From the beginning of this hobby, I use only organic fertilizers. I used 11L pots, to which I added 50g Easy Boost Organic Nutrition, 10g Easy Roots Rhizobacter and 5g Easy Roots Mycorrhizza Mix to the soil and mixed everything well. After that I soaked the soil well with water, made a small hole, laid the seed inside and lightly covered it with soil. After planting is completed, they enter their new home. As I wrote earlier, in addition to Watermelon, there are two more Purple Punch Auto on the Farm to keep him company. The temperature in the Box at that time was 23 degrees and the humidity was slightly below 45%, so I will have to put humidifier to raise humidity. I set the lights 35cm from the pots as Migro recommends. 14 - 17/01/2021 I sprayed the surface of the soil with water a couple of times to keep the soil moisture at the surface. 17/01/2021 Watermelon Automatic sprouted. There was a seed coat left on the stalk so I had to remove it by hand, but a nice photo motif. 22/01/2021 I watered the plants with a small amount of water to which I only regulated p.H at 6.4. Farm: 24.7 degrees - 55% humidity I'm quite late with the publication of the diary, the reason is the large number of photos I take and then I need to find time to put everything in a pile, along with the notes and type everything nicely. Der Stretch is ist im vollem Gange und den Lady geht es soweit gut ! 2 Der Damen haben ein etwas schlechteres Wachstum,sie wurden etwas mehr aufgebockt um nicht unter zu gehn.Teils wurde ein wenig etwas Untergestellt um das Höhenwachstum den größten Pflanzen anzupassen.Nachdem ich die Pflanzen überprüft habe musste ich leider feststellen das zwei Damen von oben bis unten voller Säcke waren.Diese wurden sofort entfernt ! Bei allen anderen passt alles soweit. 😉

At the end of the 6 week of bloom the blackberry cake feminised is holding up. Her bloom is not that fruit full as was lacking the essential nutrients to achieve that. Although the lady is blooming nicely. Her leaves have faded due to the lack of nutrients. 1 - 03/27 - Starting up week #2. New light is installed, will be monitoring the set up now since the new light is 800w. Tent temperature peaked yesterday at 85. Added a big fan in the tent and an additional fan for circulation outside of the tent as well. Going to need my air scrubber sooner than later to help keep my temps in check. Likely need a cool mist humidifier as well now. Woohoo. At least they are all still standing! 2 - 03/27 - The new LED at 800 watts is far too much. The tent was heating up uncontrollably past 86, so I decided to take it back and grab the single 400 for the time being. That way at a later date I can upgrade to a secondary 400 and still pull equal wattage. Also added a 6in inline fan to help keep the tent cooler. Sitting around 76 -80 now so I'm pretty happy with it. The 400 run quite a bit cooler than the 800 does. The 800 brought my tent up another 10 degrees whereas the 400 unit sits my tent up at 3 degrees. All in all, feeling good about the swap and new lights. Time will tell if I need anything additional come first week of flower 03 - 03/31 - Almost nearing the end of week 2. The girls are doing amazing. Candy Cane is finally catching up and everybody is filling out now. Super cool to see what a week does! 🌱 Each of the ladies received some very light LST last night. Light pull on the leaves downwards to pull the top open and create some more developmental growth. I also decided to run a really light liquid nutrient cycle. I'll post the product and details tonight. Happy growing! 🌱 - Made an executive decision mid morning and decided that 1.5/2g is not a big enough finished pot size for the EM Auto. I moved her to a 5. I was really sceptical since she's doing the best for vegetative growth out of the group but decided to embark on the risk. I consider it a move and not a transplant at this point. When I moved her, I cut the fabric pot in 6 spots down to the base. I let some of the loose dirt fall into a tray and prepared the 5g to accept the 1.5g transfer. I used a single table spoon of the gia green power bloom and coated the hole. I gently misted the outside of the remaining dirt and the EM root base and picked nearly the whole plant up with little to no disturbance whatsoever. (80% of the total potted plant and coco stayed in tact). She went in beautifully and still looks happy. I guess we'll see how much damage has been done come harvest. Fingers crossed that she didn't feel a thing. 👍🌱

Coming along, got the temperature down by moving the schedule more into the night and morning. Hopefully have it down enough to get some colour towards the end!

Eccoci qui... Tutto va per il meglio, questa settimana non ho applicato stress alla piccola, ma ho guardato l'evoluzione che ha avuto dando i nutrienti. Ora ha un odore davvero intenso ed uno strato di resina pauroso, vediamo come si riprende dalla defogliazione che ho fatto settimana scorsa. Do-si-dos received a heavy defoliation, there were a ton of small inner branches starved for light, so they got cut. LSD, Green Crack and Mandarin dreams all received a light defo, yellowing leaves were removed. Lighting provided by Mars-Hydro TSW2000. Ich bin mit der Entwicklung der Buds sehr zufrieden, wie jede Woche musste ich wieder ordentlich entlauben und die Pflanzen wieder genau anschauen. Die Pflanzen beginnen bereits von selbst die Blätter ab zu werfen , also erhöhe ich meine Lichtleistung auf 100% für feste Buds am Ende.

All is well so far, starting late on day 4 of flower. I did a 21 day Veg from clone in a diy res. I ran the Roswell already from seed in coco so moms of this is in the Veg space and I’ll take a cut of the Cherry in a few days because I got this cut from the growmie so I need a mom!
