Oh it was a special week. Day 21 of flower marks the Silver Back Guerilla defoliation day!!!! I left one be. For him. To prove me wrong. BUT!!! That one had some dead leaves at the bottom that needed removal, not the defoliated plants!! Time will tell as to if what Im doing is right. I stick to my guns that this works for my room. Even though I read differently, removal of foliage has lowered my rh. Could very well be outside environment, however. By day 21F the room was a bush again. In my opinion, it needed the heavy defo to breathe. As for light penetration, I am extremely happy with the amount of heads receiving direct light. Im a pig in shit Thanks for looking, I dont want to hear your opinion on defo or schawazze, unless youre SBG

Welcome to my Lemon Orange Diary sponsored by Green House Seeds. Day 57-64 Week 9 She grew very well. Really healthy through pre flower & very happy to be high stressed. Kept up with Atami Bloom Stim until mid wk 9. And then I started pushing PK booster from plagron and made sure silica boost was given for the stress. Which helped the nodes not break as I HST'ed after pre flower, so there was no growth in the nodes to spring them back up. So the stems walls needed to be strong. And they were. Some naturally did rise towards the light. But not enough to point to rapid but stiffness back into the nodes upward growth, so it's important to have strong membrane walls. After pre fower was over, I cleaned her up also. Took 70% of everything, (defoliation that was done over 3 days.)The other 30% was removed during ripening as it had loads of (hat leafs) leafs surrounding the tops of the main buds blocking light to buds below. Plant has moved great through pre flowering. Very uneven nodes. And where the rest of where my plants where I needed this smaller. So early into week 9 I lollipopped were I knew the HST bend be everywhere below it was stripped. 90% of the nodes where HST'ed. Maintenance Summary 1:Start of wk 9.i lollipopped her, Everything below the planned HST points was removed 2:Defoliations were done in 3 stages. Removing big fan leafs once pre fower was over..I left more than I normally would as HST was in the same wk so I didn't wanna stress too much 3: HST'ed was applied and to make sure she kept a level canopy her nodes were tied down. 4: made sure the soil didn't dry up and was given silica to protect the nodes main membrane as the nodes would be moving for a wk r 2 until it stiffened during fattening. // Day 91 She is getting there. The buds ware not fattening up as much as I wanted to but her trichomes are almost all cloudy and a very low minority is amber. So I guess I give her 2-3 more days and cut her down on friday or saturday. This time I try out the bro science: Befor cutting, I'll let her stay in the dark for 48h. So maybe I turn off the lights tomorrow until friday and chop her down. I chopped her down today. Since I need to do a bud wash (spider mites, outdoor grow), I can't hang the plant whole. So I cut the stems into as big pieces as possible and washed them with deluted hydrogenperoxide. I hanged them into the tent and try to dry them as long as possible.

I have only been treating the top soil and bottom 6". FF Tiger Bloom every other water. About 2 tsp. Just over a gal of water. pH 6.58. I've noticed all her branches are really trying to catch up to the main cola. I can't wait to try LST on my next grow. This light is fantastic! Well it’s looking like it’s time to flip these girls are Losing their shit on this run. Huge props to MSNL so far, I mean, we’re talking 8/8 seeds popped, fast healthy growth like nothing I’ve had(and I put these girls through some shit-stripped them down to nothing almost weekly and they just bounce back. Seriously, if this run continues to go anything like the veg then I’m 100% a believer in MSNL’s quality. They’re hardy, put up with some crazy shit that happened with circuit breakers cutting the lights off early on, a lot of supercropping, defoliation and lollipopping... And you don’t even need to rub the stems for scent... I just walk into the room and it’s like a sweet peppery gas smell. Straight fire. Catch you guys next week, can’t wait to see some pistils!

Hello Diary, The fourth week of flowering is over and we are slowly heading towards the end. Last week I did defoliation, so now there is better air flow through the whole plant. Purple Punch looks great, some leaves take on a yellowish color which are the first signs that its end is near. The flowers themselves fill very nicely and become larger and larger and are full of trichomes. As you can see in the photos, Purple Punch has a nice shape, good leaf color, the scent is intense, it’s just all great and I’m looking forward to the harvest. Although there are two Purple Punch on the Farm, I didn’t do photos of both plants this time but I promise to show both in the end. In one watering I added Biobizz and that was the last addition of nutrients for her. From now on just flushing. Conditions in the growbox are good, the temperature varies around 25 degrees, while the humidity is around 40%. Now comes the stage when I start observing the development of trichomes through a microscope, it’s a special experience for me, like I’m looking at something from another planet. Here's a brief overview of the week: 11/03/2021 - Day 44. Watering. I didn’t add any nutrients, I just lowered p.H. water at 6.3. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.5 degrees and 36% humidity. 13/03/2021 - Day 46. Watering. p.H. I downgraded to 6.4 and added BioBizz as scheduled for the current week. This will be the last addition of nutrients. From now on only clean water. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 26 degrees and 39% humidity. 16/03/2021 - Day 49. Started from seed this lady's have 17 days under half load 4 X 50W Cree CXB3590 CRI 80 3000K custom build led. 7days in rockwool cube under a dome , 10 days in 750ml pot. Freshly transplanted into to final pot. They have received 250ml of fertilizer solution and transplation soil was moisted with 6.5PH water. Led now running on full load. This project have some custom/extra gadget, a prototype growing controler. Hardware Specs: Raspberry PI 4 4Go Ram + SSD 120Go Phat sparkfun qwiic i2c hub + i2c sensor for : temperature,humidity, co2, tvoc, air pressure and distance measurement(plant height) Linked with one custom wifi power bar for schedule and countdown. One sonoff pw r2 for energy monitoring. Both using ESP8266 chip and running on Tasmota alternative firmware. Linked to the controler using normal wifi AP. Added silica to boost stem strength. Brew compost tea with 3 gallon rodi water, 2 tbsp molasses, 1 cup worm castings, 2 tbsp alfalfa meal, 1 tbsp bat guano, 1 tbsp seabird guano.
