the start was kind of slow about 5 days for the seed to pop, I was kind of worried but soon after she came up. she grew short like most indicas do, she started to frost up in her 3rd week of flowering, her frost continued to coat her buds while they where getting fatter and denser. she started to smell real nice around the 4th week so if smell is a factor u will want to get a carbon filter. she is sticky and dank, real strong smell. she is not a big producer but you could increase yields by putting a net on her as well as a bigger pot, 5 gals. and let her go. I did not top her as I was unsure how this strain would re act. she grows pretty bushy around the 5th week in and you may want to defoliate in the first 2 weeks in flower. she was not much of a drinker, about every other day. the germination was good as I only popped 1 out of 3 so I have 2 more to work with later. I probably will grow this strain again as she was easy and with little effort I got a ounce of some dank dens buds. I do kick myself for not running 1 more of the seeds but I am happy with the weed I have. I have more weed today than I did the other day. big thanks @fastbuds for letting me do some testing. the fades of purple light green and yellows made my day.

01/09/2022 Finally time to flower, and all girls went into flower room at lights out.The males will be next week, don't want to put them in to early so I will carefully check every day and separate before they open their flowers. I'm guessing week 3-4 I Will select two branches on each female to selectively pollinate. 01/11/2022 Blue Matter #5 (update #5 culled male) repotted with lemon og seed Will continue in her own evolving diary. The girls just keep on cooking...and things are starting to get really bushy. I'm hoping that we're close to finished on the vertical growth front. Chem Brûlée just keeps getting bigger and bigger, but she seems to be spreading OUT faster than she is growing UP at this point (she's already 56" call). Day 21 from seed today, plants are growing good. Going to give some Microbe life and add some top dressing but that’s about it. Been doing LST on the one cookies and she is growing really nicely.

I’m happy to be here at this point. Hoping In these few weeks these ladies start to thicken out. Sundae Batter is sticky sweet as hell. Bubbles smells so good, just stomping up my nostrils.

Week 13 - a cute visitor! We've had strong winds, so I made a little support net with some hemp string. Tbh, I just went with my inuition: knots here and there and strong support. Let's hope this will do the trick. Temps are lower this week but humidity is up. Sun keeps shining. This should be a good harvest. Another 10cm growth spurt. That's more than 1cm per day. I should hear her grow at this speed. Also, the leaves on this one. She really means business. It's almost a full time job to keep her in check. But I'm only here on weekends and I think she likes that. 5 days of undisturbed growth until it's time for a little leaf shedding. She's doing and looking great. I found a tiny critter enjoying some leaves, luckily my cats keep them at bay, so no damage.

Royal Gorilla Automatic: Checked out some similar grow diaries and came to the conclusion that she's definitely in shock as she's lagging behind quite a bit. Last week I diagnosed the plant with some deficiencies (mg/mn/calc), possibly caused by the soil's PH being to acidic. To counter this, I started the week by topdressing the plant with some fresh soil, quite a bit of kelp meal (to raise PH and supply the plant with calcium and magnesium) and some worm compost. This time I watered the plant without adding lactobacillus. This seems to have been effective seeing as the plant has restarted growing . Buds are finally starting to dense up, trichomes are finally forming and the plant is starting to look healthy again. Still waiting on the smell though. Added some bone meal at the end of the week to try and get the buds to dense up some more. Solomatic: Plant is looking great, showing no signs of nutrient deficiencies. Her buds are getting quite dense and the trichomes are present and sticky as fuck. She has a nice haze like smell to her, which I really like. Although she isn't showing any signs of deficiencies I did add a tiny bit of kelp meal and worm compost at the start of the week, followed by some bone meal at the end of the week. Normally I wouldn't add fertilizer this close to harvest, but I have a feeling I can get the buds to dense up even more this way. Will probably give her another week and a flush before I harvest her. Stress Killer: The healthiest plant of the bunch, showing absolutely no signs of deficiencies or stress. The sweet smell is present, yet not (yet) overwhelming. Her buds are getting really dense and the trichomes are everywhere and super sticky. Added some fresh soil, some worm compost and a bit of kelp meal at the start of the week, followed by some bone meal at the end of the week. She should normally grow for about 10-12 weeks, so I'm expecting her to fatten up like crazy now. Can't wait to smoke this one.

As of day 36, the NYC Diesel continues to have nice healthy growth and decent flowering. It started more indica in structure early in the grow, but has been showing more sativa growth traits as it has progressed in flowering. The buds have not started to bulk much, but there is still a good amount of stretch and blooming. I am trying to decide how much more defoliating I want to do, as it seems to fill in with more growth as soon as I finish a round. With the good light penetration I get I worry about over doing it and having a weakened plant later in flowering, so I am going to take my time with the next rounds of leaf removal. These were all pretty Uniform in height and weight even with #3 being replanted 2 weeks in, lots of Haze smell diesel and pungent on the front end and some sweet at the tail, I should of let these go a few more weeks I think it would be better. I have read and have heard that the flowering time the breeders recommend is based on a 1000w set up. and light plays an important roll in yield as far as flowering goes Its all about time. and maybe next time I will grow these to a more perfect pant. but this round as a grower I give myself a 6 out of 10 got some buds to some and turned the trim and larf to hash, not a huge return and the Trichomes were mainly in the 25 micron range with a minimal amount in the 76 micron bag. so My thinking is that these were all small and under developed trichomes, this leans into my theory that they could have gone another 3 or for weeks, Failure has been my greatest teacher and I really enjoy this hobby. Next grow will be an Organic Dry Amendment Auto Flower with new lights no more Blurple import lights. I got my 1st vaccine shot. hope you all are staying safe and lifted. Added some bat doo-doo to her feed she was showing some phosphorus deficiency. Lowered the ph to 6.4 from 6.9. Hopefully fixes the issue...might have to drop the ph to 6. I know P issue arise if it's not acidic enough. Bought a microscope to check the tricromes, the only way th know for sure if she is done or not.

Hey everyone! Just a quick recap from last week: we've removed the LST bands and are letting the plants grow freely. They are looking fantastic and have developed a very dense canopy. 🌿 Now, we're at a bit of a crossroads regarding when to start the flowering phase. The back three plants from our second grow are only 23 days old, and I’d prefer not to have any plants outside the tent. Today, we're changing the light cycle from 20/4 to 18/6. This will give the plants more time to rest, which should help them grow even stronger. 🌱 The 18/6 cycle means 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness, providing the plants with more downtime to recuperate and grow. Excited to see how they respond to this change! Day 45 (First Grow): Hey everyone! Exciting update: we’ve built a SCROG (Screen of Green) net for the plants! 🌿 For those who don’t know, a SCROG net helps to train the plants to grow horizontally, which maximizes light exposure to all parts of the plant and promotes more even growth. We're using it with our six plants to ensure they all get plenty of light and develop a uniform canopy. We've also placed a hygrometer among the plants to measure the humidity between the leaves. We've noticed that the humidity sometimes exceeds 70% in those areas. Do we need more fans, an intake ventilation system, or would a dehumidifier be a better option? We’re leaning towards adding more fans to improve air circulation, but we'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Day 46 (First Grow): Hey everyone! Exciting news: the plants have names now! 🌿 This will make it easier to identify and keep track of each one, especially if they get moved around.
