Blue Zushi - Dutch Passion Day 106 - Watered with 5 litres of RO tap water, with a reduced number of defined nutrients, mixed in order and then pH'd to 6.3. She has reached a stage now (around week 8-9 of flower), where I'm happy to start the flush process, so I'm easing her off the nutrients now and from her next watering, she will get no nutrients at all - this should take about ten days, after which I will harvest her 💪🏻. Not much work done on her this week, just a couple of leaves removed around the top bud sites to improve light penetration 👌🏻

A 4 hour planned power outage in my area gave me the excuse to flip the girls. Kept the lights off for a cycle then immediately went 12/12. Although the temperature dropped to a root freezing 58°F, the reservoir didn't have a chance to fluctuate much and I also kept my air pumps running for an extra hour and a half off my computer backup battery! The battle with root rot is basically over. I am taking care to rinse the roots every once and a while. Growth has been amazing! Loving DWC! It also gives me things to do as I lie to pay attention to my plants. Doing a thorough clean with H2O2 every res change. PPM is around 800-900. Drops fast now. Every two days I check PH and correct if necessary. Usually it's been around 6.2-6.3 when I check. I PH it back down to 5.8. I've heard that flowering is a little on the acidic side so I'm planning on dropping my PH to 5.5-5.6. Did a major defoliation after this diary entry. Will do another in three weeks. Stretch has started by the looks of it. This girl is coming along fairly well. She is starting to put in a little weight now. I have been battling powdery mildew on this lady! She does not seem very resistant to it unfortunately. I will have to up my treatment regime a little bit I’m thinking. I may also take one other plant out of my greenhouse if I can squeeze it out to make a little more room. 😎🍿

Increasing feed and light slowly , things are coming along , there nice and compact , they seem to have good root growth so far and will speed up as I increase the light and feed from now . My ec/ph meter decided to break so been waiting for a new one .

So like I said last week, this is definitely not an autoflower..10 weeks of veg in a one gallon container, it makes absolute, you know sense, and the second I flipped her, she flipped... So at this point i'm just hoping it's still purple haze... i will say she's been happy and she's growing right along, as you can tell she's crowning nicely, and she's stacking fairly quickly for what's supposed to be a heavier sativa leaning plant ... by the looks of her plant leaves, she looks like a right down the middle of the road hybrid.. As long as when she's all said and done, she looks and smokes good.You won't hear me complain... I really hope everyone is doing well. God bless and a happy growing ✌️

Quiet week. Some lst and defoliation. Trying to get the EasyFeed timer dialed in is a bit tougher than I imagined. Different phenos may feed differently, so one pot may be dry and the other may have an inch of water and isn't ready for another feed when the other is. Going to focus on dialing it in. I love the concept, but it may not be practical. We'll see.

Last week of flower I will be harvesting these three females Friday night . Been a fun grow glad it’s coming to an end so I can finally dry, cure , and taste. Really excited to try each one they each have unique smells. I’m letting these girls goto day 63 , I’ve been checking the trichomes and I feel like the BBxPBB could be a 8 week strain , ima try another grow with her after my Ethos Forbidden Zkittles run, I love the way the BBxPBB did in veg and flower I feel like I can get a little more out of it i missed a few feedings for 2 weeks had a newborn and wasn’t up on the feeding like I should the buds on the BBxPBB are a little airy and they have packed some weight at the end last two weeks . I will be upgrading my light next grow and will try to run them one more time , looking around November for the next BBxPBB run . I have a few buddies growing some outdoors so I will update this entry in October when they are harvested . The Ethos Punchberry Cookies was easy grower , finished really well , buds are rock solid and have great structure , each one has different small , one has a fruity sweet tart smell the other smells like a rotten banana with a hint of fruit punch on it , the BBxPBB seems to have taken on more of the blueberry smell has a hint of gas smell or rubber, smells great
