Week 1 Veg Day 1: Things look good. When bottom watering the seed tray I noticed the roots had grown through the bottom of the seed tray. Will decide what size to move up to and when to start taking the PH for watering / fertilizing. Need to grab more soil too, these babies are growing fast. Week 1 Veg Day 4: had a couple days of just watching and watering intermittently, but the time has come to repot these seedlings! I’d say we are into veg as we move into these new pots for both the autos and the photos in this grow. I know we don’t have to (slash shouldn’t) transplant auto’s… but I only have so much space and didn’t have enough soil when the seeds popped.. and didn’t really know whether living soil would be too hot to start autos in. Decided to move the kids to 2 gallon pots though, and will probably let the autos stay here and upgrade the photos in about a month. Should just be watering and watching for the next week. Moving some of the autos outside in 2/3 weeks, will start PH monitoring water asap, and will continue to look into fertilizer options.

Mid week is day 21 of flower. I'll do one more leaf strip in the next few days and then I should be done screwing around in the tent with these ladies. I'm extremely happy with how the canopy filled out. Just a couple of weeks ago I had to cull 3 of my 8 and that left a void. The last leaf strip is done. I also removed the trellis netting. I am unsure if this was a good idea or not. As far as I figure, My canopy did fill the 5'x5' but it doesn't any more. Now that the scrog net is down everything "stood tall". The reason I removed it is so I could make sure that 1. I could strip everything that I wanted/needed to before everything turns woody and fragile. 2. get to my plants to make sure that no Male flowers surfaced. I did consider putting it back in but then I though of harvest time, what if one in the back is ready before the one in the front, that is gonna suck to pull out. So I left the net out. My hypothesis is that as the buds start to gain weight, the weight will get the branches to come down and spread out again. If the weight seems like it may break limbs, at that point I will apply the scrog net as more of a trellis net that will be easily removed. It's weird, two nights ago I was dreaming that I was in a panic looking for plant yoyo's. I was dreaming that my kolas were so huge that they were snapping. LOL Hopefully it wasn't a dream and it was more of a vision. I have still been feeding by my pH range. I still haven't had to use any pH up or down in the last 18 days. I have noticed that flower isn't as forgiving as veg cycle. I do have one strain that is showing leaf tip burn so I have decided drop my EC enough to let my pH rise a bit more quickly. In the flower cycle the plants seem to be more finicky with their uptake. If It's too strong they leaf tip burn within a couple of days so if you need to make changes you can't tip toe like in veg. You need to aggressively get back into range because the plant isn't going to wait for you. It's clock is ticking and it's going with or without you. After my recent leaf strip, my humidity has been lower than ideal so I will probably be putting a humidifier in shortly. I have been using the dimmer to dim my lights to 75% but I would rather have them at 100. I am looking forward to what the next 5 weeks bring so I hope you all stay with to see how this turns out. After 21 days in turbo cloner I transplanted 4 Sweet seeds Green Poison into 1 gallon plastic pots filled with Cana coco. Few days later I transplanted another 4 clones into DWC! Stay tuned! Coco feed at 700ppm Dwc feed at 480ppm

Starting week 4 and everything is looking good, buds are forming now time for them to fatten up. There is trichrome coverage starting around the budsites and on some fan leaves. The plants are starting to put off that pungent gg4 smell with earthy undertones. I did a pretty aggressive defoliation on day 21 (11/9/18) and cleaned up the lowers with a light lollipopping. The plants stretched more than I wanted so I may have to add 1 more layer of trellis it just depends if they can hold themselves up once they start putting on the weight going to have to wait and see. The plants seem to look happy and are moving right along. Thanks for looking and happy growing!

Just got back from vacation with lots of worries for the girl but she did fine , 6 days without watering :0

5/8 Watered both with plain PH'd water yesterday. Both of the plants are sucking up leaves. Trichomes are only really looking amber on the brown leaves, but otherwise milky. 5/10 Decided that these brown-leaved buds on Trainwreck were ready, so I tried a little bro-science and watered an hour before harvesting. Noticed there were some really nice green young buds intertwined, so I did my best to trim around to leave them for another week or so. No weight measurements yet, will wait till after trimming and before curing.

Not the best yield but some of the best (top 3 at least) I’ve smoked in my life. Taking a break for a few weeks to enjoy summer and not stress about plants.

In this breeding adventure, I can say the best taste and smell quality.

Switched to 12/12 Defoiled them every 2 days...slightly, just to stop all shadings Mixed in some flowering nutes mid week Got an really even canopy...LST did a good job...light seems to be used very efficient now

Harvest on day 72 for this Northern Lights auto by Seedsman. Yield was not a priority as I messed up my watering schedule. Overall pretty happy with this plant, buds are super dense and sticky, great citrus smell when you break up the buds, tastes really smooth and also sweet. Lovely night time smoke. Great strain by Seedsman!
