OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa. Not as heavy or as strong as other GG#4's I have smoked, which would make me question the genetics used to produce the auto version. I will wait till after a cure and judge it again. TRAINING: ~ No defoliation or HST (Bar last week for pics) ~ A little LST and leaf tucking but largely just left the plant alone to do its thing. I felt chopping healthy parts off the plant would slow the plant down and leave it with less chlorophyll to photosynthesize the light. ~ I did prune by lightly plucking dead leaves away, when the plant was ready to let them go easily. DRYING ~ 20/21'C 50% RH with air circulation. ~ Homemade Drybox made using: 2 x Bankers Boxes ~ 2 x USB Desk Fans ~ 1 x Carbon Filter ~ 6 x Clothes Hangers UPDATE: Day 5 after Harvest: ~ Fast dried some small batches, as we couldn't wait to sample. ~ Chopped off branches as some are down to 12% moisture whilst bigger buds are up at 18%. Moving to paper bag for couple of days to even moisture out then transferring to jars CURING: ~Curing in jars 3/4 full. ~ Dark closet/18'C/50% RH ~ Jars burped once Hygro passes 65% and sealed when it drops to 58%. ~ Stabilised it at 62% and after 2 weeks I'll drop it some more and stabilise it at 58% to bring out more of the flavour. ~Sitting in jars with Boveda 62% at this stage. ~ Already tastes and feels great. This week is going to be hot. I expect everything to hit generative 2/mid flower this week. The #1 & #2 plants should hit that phase day 2 and day 3 of this week. The #3 plant around day 7. The coop poop I top dressed with is still feeding. It should be just supplemental about mid week. I'm feeding my gen 2 formula that's in the nutrient section for this week. The plants will get that feed daily once generative two phase begins.The one I didn't top is over 7' tall. I used it's height for the plants height. The other two I topped are just over 5'.

So I’ve only just realised how little these girls have been fed, I’ve just done a 10% run off and they had a low EC of 0.8 so I’ve just given them a high feed, hopefully I should see some difference in the plants over the next few days. I did this simply because they haven’t put on any weight and I’ve done my dates and they’re all @8 weeks and 4 days and they look more like 5 weeks to me, I’ve been over cautious of over feeding that I actually underfed. My bad lesson learned

08/29/24. Going into week 9 flower Day 65 out of the stated 71 Supposed to be 6 days left, but I’m thinking probably 2 weeks more. I’ll be checking trichs again today. Last I checked, a few milky. Nothing to report really. Giving nothing but water from here and decreasing light intensity to about 55% Will update if anything changes.

Firstly, the video of the popcorn bud from the mother plant, is showing what’s known as xylem sap from a process known as guttation. I never new that until this. Additionally, I am sorry to have missed out on so much documentation. I can talk forever about my plants so this will be short and to the point. Fast vigorous growth. Very resilient and hardy strain able to shrug of cold damp conditions, and freezing nights down to 32 Fahrenheit. The immune system seemed to be very strong. Never did I find any pathogens or even pests! A few but those little ghost spiders really helped out. During harvest, a thorough inspection resulting in surprisingly clean product! Finishing with large “airy” buds with fat bracts covered in trichomes. A rich musky cheese smell that surprisingly tastes of berries! I suppose I’m getting ahead of myself. But I was able to finish cure and smoke test the mom before harvesting the clone. Finally: this fast 50-60 day pheno will continue popping new bracts up to 90 days!!!! Or at least the mother in the tent did. Also, the dry weight is an approximation as I’m not finished with trim.

This orange cookie is a shining example of dutchfem genetics , I do the same thing in the same conditions every time and dutchfem plants come out on top every time . Massive yields , chunky phatness, and solid handling all sort of conditions. I’ve had low temps of 8c and a heatwave of 40c and she’s handled everything thrown at her and continues to pile on the weight. A few weeks to go still and I’m happy as with what’s coming, she’s got this citrus tone and a cookie sweetness to her already. I clipped a few lower buds off for a preview in a few days ( not that you could notice, she’s huuge) . Keeping the feeds up and gearing up for a mad harvest.

This week has been amazing nothing but growth and bud sites she is starting to fatten up now and within weeks it'll be stacked with those big nugs!!

what can I say over 7 ft tall now which is impressive in this drought with only the pittance of water I've been giving them once a week. Just goes to show you that my water conservation techniques work. They are both starting to smell like a hint of chocolate and peanut butter. Can't wait to see how these ones smoke. They are also into full pre flower and should be in full flower by next weekend.

Amazing stretch last week, but it’s still not enough. After day 36 defoliation, the plant has started putting many energies on branch development. As a result, in the night between day 36 and 37 she created many pistils and increased leaves number on every branch. It’s interesting how main branches have fattened up on cropped points. As you can see on the photos, some of them are huge! Day 36: made some defoliation because lower branches were covered by leaves! Light penetration is now optimal. Day 38: another huge cropping on every branch I could find, even on lower ones. EVERY SINGLE BRANCH, snapped!

This was the first run of a FastBuds strain and I appeared to have picked a strain that works well with my grow style. She had nice wide indica leaves at the start of her growth and by two weeks over the sides of the pot. 3 gal seems to be a good pot size given her life span and her size. She flipped to flower as expected in week 4. From there she steadily gained weight in flower and was a struggle to keep her tied down with LST. Removing the lower bud sites on the side branches would also have helped to fill in her top colas so don’t be worried that she won’t fill in and you talk yourself into leaving them......cut them off😃👍She sets into a nice yellow fade on the leaves and the edges take on a purple colour. Add in red and orange hairs with everything covered in trichomes and she is a beautiful girl🤩🤩 Flush was over two weeks so expect a smooth smoke 🤞 Will follow up with more as she progresses through drying. In the box with temp at 62 to 66 degrees and humidity at 60%. Branches are not that long so I am expecting dry should be around 7 to 10 days. *******Updated Mar 7/20********* Dry went okay and she was in there for 9 day dry, Feb 25 to Mar 5th. Will be waiting until she has roughly a three week cure before I sample anymore. Did a little for not just to test her out. Further notes from dry and trim........ Should have fed her another week for increased density. Smoke is smooth so far, I don’t mind sacrificing weight for smooth smoke but not sure it was a needed trade off with this girl. Find out next run of her, which will be very soon😀👍 Her high is nice and strong. Not much sampled so far........rather say more to come in a few weeks......sweet and impressive so far!!!! Again a real pleasure to grow and I see more opportunity to do better with this girl😃 Very excited to go again and will definitely be in the next auto run again. Love how she grew and looked! Finally the last week before harvest

Look at this... Look how fucking beautiful these plants are looking. It's really unbelievable that I am growing something like this at my home. This is their last week before harvest. The second round of photos are taken on the day before harvest. After that, I give them 24 hours of lights on to increase the trichome production even more but I'm too scared to do 48 hours on. They start to get a bit ugly, so I'm not sure if 48 hours of light would be too much

A good starter week. Both little ladies are doing well. They're both stretching just a bit. I've increased the light intensity so all should be good.
