Welcome back to week 9 This week will be mostly playing the waiting game and some post stretch defoliation on the Photos As all plants are done stretching, the feeding of PK was increased to support the bulking phase. The auto tent is getting more frosty every day with temps between 25-20 degrees Not much to do there, just ensuring reservoir is filled and airflow is good The photos are also done stretching….mostly….i hope 😬 The BBM now reached same height than the others and some side branches also If they stay like that for the next days I will do a final clean up defoliation on all 3 to get a bit more airflow and light penetration through all plants Feeding will reach its peak this and next week with 2.0-2.1 EC and 5.9PH and decreased slowly after that As an addition to my “why are photos stretching so crazy this time?” Question, I think I found the answer…. I started the PK a bit too early, as phosphorus in stretch makes plants grow more in between the branches… which is exactly what happened to all 3… they some times have 5-10cm spacing between the branches… Lesson learned: don’t start pk before stretch is REALLY done! 😅👍 Update: the BBM and BKH are both still growing 😬 while I first thought the CW would be the big stretcher…it now shows I was completely wrong… The CW is now the smallest in height and due to my LST the most dense I have all a heavy defoliation (not completely lollipoped but still a lot foliage removed) When I shut down the UCL it was complete darkness at the tray 😱 never had anything that dense and bushy I just hope I can keep the RH under control in late flower… And as a remark: I need new vents…both top fans get issues with the oscillation Those need to be replaced before late flower starts!

D29. We're at the start of the first week of flower, and all is well in the tent. Today, I made some minor adjustments to the LST wires and tucked a few leaves to bring more light to the bud sites. ------------------------------ D31. She loves life and is starting to spread out over the Gorilla pot. I noticed a few yellow leaf tips on a single bud. No idea what is going on, but I'll keep an eye on her. Otherwise, she looks healthy, and I already see purple in her young flowers. I did some minor defoliation low down, but other than that, she is low maintenance now. All I do is tighten an LST wire now and then to maintain a flat canopy. ------------------------------ D32. I brewed up a quick compost tea using oat flour as the food source. Some people claim that that will result in a fungally dominant tea, so I thought I'd try it out. I also added humic acid and a teaspoon of myco because why not? Honestly, I'm not sure it is even possible to create a fungally dominant AACT, as the constant water movement will most likely tear the fungal hyphae apart as they form. In any case, a different food source should promote other bacteria than the molasses I usually use. Diversity is the name of the game in living soil. Well, in life in general. I gave her around 1 liter (5% of container volume) of tea @ pH 6.1. ------------------------------ D35. We're on the last day in the first week of flower. All is well in the tent, and there isn't much to report. One thing I did was buy a mushroom grow kit to keep in the tent. I figured I'd test it out and see how it works. The mushrooms produce CO2 that the plants love, and hopefully, I'll get some tasty Oyster mushrooms to eat — two birds with one stone and all that. ------------------------------

Preflowering

Welcome growers We finished week n°5 with these three SORBET#4 🌿🌿🌿🍧 The whole family reacted pretty well after last week's topping and looks very healthy and happy They have some differences, especially in terms of height.. There are two fairly identical phenotypes, small in size with close internodal spacing and deep green leaves The other, on the other hand, is visibly more grown in height and has a more "open" structure, typical of specimens that tend to have a profile more on the Sativa side. However, I am giving everyone the same amount and type of nutrients, which I will report later 😉 In this week i have reduced the lights cycle from 16/8 on/off to 14/10 on/off 💡 At the same time i have increase the intensity of my two led SP3000 from 50% to 75% and im going to put them at the maximum potency after the switch at 12/12 The two led panel are connected with a cable and i have only to adjuste the dimmer of one of them for change the intensity of each one, in just one move.. About nutrients 👇 In this seven days i still giving their always organic/veganic nutrients.. A little bit of silicium (Bionova) / Activator (Biomagno) / Crescita (Biomagno) / Activera (Biobizz) / Grow vegan (Bionova) / The Missing Link (Bionova) / X-Cell (Bionova) / Bioheaven (Biobizz) for the first time and a little bit of P-K 3-5 (Bionova) {not in spray solution but mixed with the othersone in to the water} Like i usually do, a little bit of everything at any watering 💧 Anyway.. I decided to take both photos and videos, basically so as not to bore you and me with the same things over and over again.. WEEK 10/7F // D64/43F - D70/49F Die Guava hat an Tag64/43F das letzte Mal Wasser bekommen und ist an sich schon an Tag66/45F fertig gewesen. Allerdings gab es keine Möglichkeit die Guava anständig zum trocknen aufzuhängen. Daher wurde die Guava an Tag69/48F zum trocknen in einem Karton mit Lüfter aufgehangen. Vorher gab es ein wet-trim. Bei den Outdoor-Ladys bevorzuge ich den wet-trim weil man so schonmal schauen kann ob irgendwo noch ein kleines Insekt klebt und auch sieht wenn ein Bud schimmelt. Bei der Guava musste nur ein halber Headbud vom Seitentrieb entfernt werden weil der geschimmelt ist. Sonst war alles in einem super Zustand. Unter dem Gedanken das die Guava den Großteil draußen stand, ist die Guava eine super stabile Genetik. Temperatur Tag: 22-26°C Nacht: 13-19°C Höhe 84cm

05/24 - (M) - The mother has been harvested and dried - She produced roughly 3 oz's after drying - Considering I pulled a good amount of clones from her early 3 oz's is acceptable on this harvest - Completely negated the hay smell through drying - Nuggz are full and dense - smoke is clean and smooth. 05/24 - (C) - The clones are coming along nicely - They have about 5 maybe 6 weeks left until harvest - They were moved into the 2x2 tent to finish (Needed the bigger tent for my follow up grow) - The clones have a deep citrus smell - The budsites are filling out accordingly- Thus far no issues through first couple weeks of flower - I included 2 nutrients to their feeds Green Planet Horti Bloom and Late Bloom. This is my first round with my BRAND NEW LED-Lights from SANlight in Austria. I got myself TWO EVO4-120 fixtures for my HOMEBOX Ambient Q120 growtent, which has an area of 120 x 120 cm. The new EVO4-120 looks AMAZING, reminds me a little bit of a spaceship. I also got myself two magnetic dimmers for the LED-fixtures, so I can control the amount of light my plants get. Then I went into my 'treasure-chest', where I keep my genetic gems I collected over the years and selected the strains I want to grow this cycle. My good friends from CNNBS.nl recommended their SNEEZE (=Amnesia x White Widow) to me, which is produced by seedstockers.nl. Since the parents are two classic strains with copious amounts of trichomes, I am curious how 'white' this variety will come out. My FAVORITE STRAIN OF ALL TIMES is THE PURPS from BC-BUD-DEPOT. It is a purple variety, which has the aroma and taste of grape jolly-ranchers and is simply DELICIOUS! I won the third place in the Sativa category of the HIGH TIMES CANNABIS CUP 2009 in Amsterdam with it and have grown this strain A LOT...therefore i know it well and it is ideal to see how well the NEW SANlight LEDs work. SERIOUS SEEDS has a NEW PROMO STRAIN, which is called WHITE DELIGHT (=Mimosa x OG-Kush) and which I am very curious about, therefore i will try two of those seeds next to their classic SERIOUS HAPPINESS (= AK-47 x Warlock). The Happiness is an easy to grow strain, which ALWAYS delivers GREAT results, therefore I had to have it in my tent. My treasure chest revealed some CHEESE seeds from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS, which are the ORIGINAL seeds from the HIGH TIMES CANNABIS CUP 2006, at which the Cheese won the Indica category and started its now famous legacy! Milo, the breeder from Big Buddha Seeds, gifted those seeds to me directly at the fair of the Cannabis Cup that year and I cant wait to smoke some ORIGINAL CHEESE again. The BADAZZ-CHEESE (=CHEESE x BADAZZ-KUSH) is a collaboration of Ripper Seeds and Big Buddha and entails the BADAZZ-KUSH from Ripper crossed with the CHEESE from Big Buddha. This variety grows hard compact buds with an insane amount of trichomes, I cant wait to see her in flowering. The STRAWBERRY SOUR-DIESEL from DEVILHARVESTORIGINAL SEEDS (NOT TO BE MISTAKEN FOR Devils Harvest Seeds, because its a split-off!) and the BIG CANDY from Mr. Hide Seeds have been recommended to me by a good friend, therefore I will give them a try as well. All seeds are germinated in the 'Serious' Way' promoted by Serious Seeds. It is basically the wet paper-towel method, but instead of leaving the seeds laying on a plate, they are hung inside a plastic baggie, so the roots can grow out STRAIGHT of the seed. I use this methods since years and always have GREAT success with it, therefore I put a little video tutorial together of the germinating method, I hope it can help others.

Sorry busy week. They are getting close. Just turned the lights down 20% to simulate fall for last couple weeks. Will add ice in 6 days to flush.

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️

Weather was already cold, she has long flowering for our climate.

This girl started showing her pistils 3 days ago. I amped up her feeding with some extra Budswell Guano. The growth has been exploding pre-flowering.

The plant that is in the autopot system is 20 inches tall (grew about 7 inches in a week) and i call it #1, and #2 indoors; #3 is outside. #1 and #3 are identical in physical traits. Beautiful plant overall. This is Day 21 is the last day ill do a;ot of training

Hey guys! Another update! 💪 I bought a Cal-Max from Grotek 👌 From the photos I shared it seems Matcha and Pistachio are suffering from some Magnesium deficiency (I hope that's the issue 😰) and this should help with the issue. I foliar spayed both of my babies and then I added the recommended dosage to all the waterings I made during the week. Gladly the first changes were clear after 48 hours of spraying them and I'll probably see the rest of the changes next week (or the week after) 😱 Besides that Matcha is still super small compared to Pistachio and I wonder what might be the issue. Maybe I'm watering her a bit too much or the heat is too high and it's not letting her take the proper nutrients? Maybe her roots are still small (for some reason I think this might be the main issue) or the damage she suffered from the lack of magnesium was way too severe and can't be fixed? No idea but she seems to be recovering so I'll let her continue that way for a bit more (and let her grow some more roots) before switching into flower. Oh! And I switched places between her and Pistachio, in case the lights were a bit too strong for my baby! As for Pistachio, she's growing strong so I suspect she'll be a huge plant during the stretch phase 😃(you can only dream). She's also showing some chlorosis but absolutely nothing compared to Matcha. I also defoliated both of my plants, they were getting bushy and I want all the "new" colas to receive as much light as poooooosible! Anyway, that's all for now.
