Heartbreaker

HELEN was officially trimmed and weighed on 5/23/21 WOWWWWWWWW!!!!! Unbelievable!!! Ineffable (my favorite word)!!! My jaw has been on the floor since last night y'all....this is easily, the frostiest looking flower I have ever seen in my entire life, and I have more than I've ever had in my entire life. It's liberating that I KNOW I never need to go to a dispensary or a dealer or any other subpar method to get the quality medicine I've been looking for! It smells like sweet earthy, diesly lemons, and the high is a combination of body relaxation with an uplifting, calming head buzz. I feel like I can do anything with this strain, which is good because I'm gonna have it for a while lol She took about 3 hours to trim with a friend. Last night I also made dry sift hash rosin for the first time using the sift collected from trimming (I haven't even done the actual sifting part yet), and I got about 3.5-4grams of high quality sift. I pressed 2.7 grams and got 2 grams back (72% yield!!!) and I felt like I was high for the first time...it was truly an amazing experience. A night full of firsts. Here's the breakdown of the dry weight: 118 grams of larf + 83g of premium shit + 10g from previous rosin pressing = 211g of holy shit I can't believe I grew this ------------ HEATHER was officially trimmed and weighed on 6/3/21 Can I copy/paste most of the above? I'm still in awe and disbelief of these incredible genetics, and it's so cool to see the variation between strains. While Helen has now become a more earthy, OG dominant smell after the cure, Heather smells and tastes like a lemonhead candy (hint of pine). The bud structure is very different, denser (which makes sense b/c it had an extra 8 days) and sticky as hell, like touching pine cones sticky. At first glance, it doesn't look as frosty as Helen, but she is packed with trichs and super, super resinous. I haven't pressed with her yet, other than some of the best dry sift hash rosin I've ever seen (see pics), but I imagine she'll deliver just as well, if not better than Helen. I prefer the taste of Heather much better. The limonene is clearly there, and uplifting, but it's super stoney as well. I'll have to give it some more cure time before I give it a proper review, but needless to say, I'm excited. Breakdown of dry weight: 143 grams of larf + 100g of premium shit = 243 of holy shit, I can't believe I've done it...again! Lessons Learned: - will add when I'm less medicated (I promise I'll still do this)
