Mephisto Genetics’ Iced ’n’ Baked is an F4 feminised autoflower bred from Mephisto’s Wedding and Gelato #41 (Sunset Sherbert x Thin Mint GSC). The cultivar is mostly indica (70/30), with a compact structure and heavy resin coverage. Plants typically reach 80–100 cm and complete a 70–80 day cycle from sprout. Expect dense, golf‑ball buds showing green to purple hues and an aroma of sweet cream, fruit and gasoline. Mephisto advises light feeding early, particularly with nitrogen, and good airflow or defoliation in humid rooms due to tight flower density. Reported effects are a mellow, relaxing body high suitable for afternoon use with uplifting qualities. Typical yields are around 70–120 g per plant under favorable conditions.
Harvested on the 14th and dried for 2 weeks and cured for a few days.
Sensitive to N in the early phases but once into motion it isn’t very picky at all. Yield was down on last run but the soil was to blame. Didn’t realise it was cut with coco coir so need extra watering.
Now let’s get on with the review;
Flavour: Creamy iced berries and vanilla with subtle cake/sweet notes. Really does taste like a fruity cake with a little gas!
Effect: Starts off very euphoric and relaxing and continues to be for a good few hours. A high that really slows the mind and brings a great sense of well-being. Very warm cosy body high. Perfect for anti anxiety!
Smell: Creamy with a strong gas/herb notes. Very different once ground. Fake berry and diesel like smell.
Potency: 9/10 The effect lasts a good 3hrs. Does make one feel a little heavy as it wears off but doesn’t crush you.
May be my new favourite indica! One to keep in the rotation I think.
