Purple Kush

Was soll ich zeggen. Het heeft helaas iets kleinere bloemen geproduceerd, maar ik kijk daaroverheen vanwege de prachtige kleur en de smaak en geef volle punten. Wordt zeker nog eens gekweekt.

Ich habe den Strain überwiegend wegen seiner Wirkung gekauft. Meine Frau hat MS und der Strain soll Migräne und Kopfschmerzen vertreiben. Er soll bei Schlafstörungen helfen, die Muskeln beruhigen... Alles positive Eigenschaften, von denen meine Frau nur profitieren kann. Und sind wir mal ehrlich, sexy ausschauen tut sie auf den Verkaufsbildern von Kannabia auch noch. Das Geschmacksprofil mag ich auch sehr. Also ab an den Kühlschrank gegangen, 2 Samen von der Purple Kush herausgeholt und erst einmal gebetet, dass keine Rohrkreppierer dabei sind. Nach 3 Tagen waren beide Samen ohne Komplikationen gekeimt. Nach den ersten 4 Wochen Sämlingsphase habe ich mich für die stärkere Pflanze entschieden. Von Beginn an hat sich die Pflanze hungrig dem Licht entgegengestreckt. Sie hatte zu keiner Zeit ein Problem mit der Lichtmenge, auch nicht mit der Menge an Dünger. Ich hätte wahrscheinlich easy einen EC-Wert von zwischen 2.0 - 2.5 fahren können, die Purple Kush hatte wenig bis keine Probleme mit der Düngermenge. Ich musste aber die Düngermenge an die Verträglichkeit der anderen Mitbewohner, im Zelt, nach unten anpassen, die waren leider nicht ganz so tolerant. Sie ist schön kompakt gewachsen und ließ sich gut trainieren. Die Buds sind sehr schön dicht gewachsen, waren über und über mit Trichomen besetzt. Der Main Head Bud hatte eine Größe von über 20cm, die anderen Top Buds von ca. 15 cm. Leider begann sie erst sehr spät zu purpeln, wie auf den Trichombildern zu sehen ist. Es war einfach auch zu warm diesen Sommer, die Nachttemperaturen waren nicht ausreichend niedrig genug und da ich sie nach der 8. Woche ernten musste, bleib sie grün, bis auf wenige Spitzen. Auch auf den Trichombildern, der 15. Woche, ist zu sehen, dass mein Exemplar nach 8 Wochen für meine Verhältnisse fertig war. Es waren bereits diverse bernsteinfarbige Trichome erkennbar. Die angegebene Reifezeit von Kannabia (60 Tage) stimmt also. Der Geruch im getrockneten Zustand ist für mich ein beeriges / grapefruitiges Aroma, man kann es schlecht beschreiben, aber da ist noch etwas Brizziliges fast wie Brausepulver. Sehr lecker Die Wirkung entspricht dem oben Beschriebenem. Es ist ein angenehmes Rauchgefühl, nach 7 Tagen Trocknung und 3 Wochen Fermentierung. Die spritzige Zitrusnote (für mich nach Grapefruit) bleibt im Geschmack erhalten, vor allem beim vapen und wird von erdigen und Beerennoten ergänzt. Ich finde der Strain hat schon ab dem 2. Joint ein gewisses Narkose Potential und ist ein perfekter Abschluss für den Tag.

The plant grew well despite the extreme heat and produced a lot of THC — truly great genetics. The flavor is something special! The yield was a bit low, but it’s packed with flavor.

~ All 3 are fantastic! They all have strong notes of sweet kush ~ one is a bit earthier but VERY pungent, & another tastes a bit more like sweet pine. ~

I woke up yesterday to a sick plant. I'm not exactly sure what happened but I think it's something in the dirt I decided to trim off all the dead leaves and leave the rest in hopes it would recover. Then this morning she was worse than yesterday morning so I had to chop her down I was so happy with how great this beautiful lady was doing. What a sad day

13/04/25: After 69 days of flowering I felt like it's time to chop her down! Did some rough wet trimming and hung her up as a whole plant! The buds seem to be a bit more on the fluffy side and it didn't really turn purple, maybe a bit reddish...let's see how the colour turn out after drying! The aromas are really pleasant, I think I love them the most. The buds give a nice sweet candy smell! I am really curious about the total dry weight and smoke after curing! Update: Trimming this plant was a pain in the ass...so many small buds when compared to my other two strains. Also yield was lowest: 37.8 g. On the other side this was has by far the most appealing smell, still really sweet and fruity, love it! Also ist covered in an unbelievable amount of trichomes, I guess this will be a strong one! Can't wait until curing is done and I can have a tester!

PURPLE KUSH / KANNABIA SEEDS This lady was easy to grow she made some nice dense trichome covered buds she didn't give me any issues and she really gives you a nice relaxing high and if you have issues eating she's a strain for you !!

No real problems growing this one, just wish she had more room in the tent

Was suppose to go purple didn't happen, Bud to leave ratio terrible alot of leaves. Not very resistance requires you watch them very carefully. The high is fire mainly to do the fact is she amber. Overall thought 6/10 Would i grow her again probably not

Buena producción. Una vez cosechada y curada..podríamos decir que es una variedad muy exótica tanto en el modo de cultivo como en el sabor de sus frutos. Toques muy pronunciados a nata con un trasfondo terroso, humus.. Es una variedad muy exquisita de fumar.. con esta cepa notaréis que is pesan los pies. Jajaj

Poca producción que compensa con buena calidad. Muy aromática con un sabor muy agradable y peculiar. Efecto positivo y gran pegada.

Pues que les voy a contar de esta magnifica variedad de Kannabia. Muy buen crecimiento, muy resistente. La recomiendo bastante para cualquier tipo de cultivador ya sea inexperto o experto. Sinceramente les recomiendo al 200% esta variedad por su buen crecimiento y su buena floración. Yo no pude sacarle el color violeta por que aquí en Canarias estaba haciendo mucho calor en las ultimas semanas de vida de la planta y no le pude bajar la temperatura como me hubiese gustado pero aun así yodo un lujo cultivarla💪😍

She was a strong one had some issues along the way attacked by osalating fan looked like road kill at the time but pulled through got super cropped and still got to a massive 120cm and a meter round easy grow it took care of it’s self tryed a few techniques which she took to with no problem got a big yield better than what I thought ended up with 275g dry laughing

Not too strong. I normally use 0.7 g of stronger cannabis in the evening but this one takes 1.0 g to get where I need to be. Beautiful, lighter green buds with lots of sticky trichomes.

Overall, I was quite disappointed. The best thing about it is the fresh sweet peach smell throughout the entire flower. Buds didn't get a tinge of purple despite being in the low 60s most of the time. I expected the stone to be similar to grand daddy purple, but it's more like an Afghani #1 stone. Happy, content, lazy stone. Sex was off the table. The buds were the densest I've grown so far and the yield surprised me. Unfortunately I had this plant going into the 13th week of flower, so it takes some time to pack on the mass. If they could get the flower time down a week and get some more purple on it, they'd be doing well. The leaves were very dark green with a waxy like luster to them. This is a strain you would want to LST and/or top multiple times no matter the desired yield. Buds were very frosty as well. I would not recommend to a first time grower. It was a bit finnicky and hermied fairly easy with no known cause. I'm thinking cooler temps sent it into hermie mode, or a very tiny bit of light leaking from under the door. Tasted like cedar wood with hints of diesel and something else. I'm going to have to try it again to nail it down exactly. I'll update this weekend. Through and through, a connoisseur strain for the curious buyer.

All my plants was growing in a 5x5 grow tent but Purple kush came out pretty well with me not keeping up with everything like I’m supposed to it smell good and the buds are great if I would’ve kept up with everything I think I probably could’ve got more off her but I’m satisfied with what I have
