Northern Lights is a well-known strain of cannabis. It is easy to grow, produces resinous buds, blooms quickly, and is resistant to cool climates. All these qualities make it very popular. It is an indica dominant variety that originated from strains from Afghanistan and Thailand.
Its buds are colored purple when flowering, with shades of green. They produce a large amount of resin and are completely covered with trichomes by the end of flowering. The plant has a compact size. After 49-63 days, the crop appears.
Smoke gives a strong relaxing brain effect, turning into euphoria and a happy mood. It also helps with stress and anxiety. Northern Lights has a light earthy and sweet smell with pine notes. The taste is soft with citrus notes.

Classic Stoney feeling. Not too strong or too weak. Reminds me of cannabis from when I was a teen. Would like to try another seed provider, as this provider’s strains tend to be too airy/larfy.

I've grown this previously, but under cheap under performing lights, and I even loved it then. The plant grew amazingly well under these lights and I really had no problems with them at all. The leaves stayed nice and green all the way until the last week before harvest and the buds look nice and dense.

The 4 Northern Lights grew well given all of the issues I went through regarding temperature, humidity and soil drainage. Can't wait to get her dried and cured. They smell very sweet. I can't weigh what I chopped down today, but stay tuned for dry weight summary.

Super forgiving plant, definitely a pleasant experience all around. Don't really have any negatives or criticisms--size, outcome, etc are pretty much spot-on for what the breeder claims. I don't know what the actual disease resistance is of this strain, but I had no problems out of her. I fed her very light and harvested a bit early, but was still very pleasantly surprised by the quantity she yielded. And the smoke itself is the best I've experienced. After a couple weeks of curing, it's just pleasant. Ash is white and it kicks in in a matter of seconds. Yas, queen!
