Jack Herer Autoflower

Being sativa dominant, some if the buds ended up airy though most of them significantly more dense than the first run of these genetics. Even though they are still a bit over-dried, terp content is much more present. Still getting a somewhat citrus + gas smell and confirmed taste from the early finisher who was harvested probably a week too late and lost some terpene strength. Easy to grow with interesting phenotypes!

I am just cutting her down. I had lots of issues during grow. It was a 100 watt grow, and plant died during flush. Sh she is getting harvested. Nice smell, and good looking flower. I will update when dried, and processed on smoke report. UPDATE: She has a strong aroma of a pine, fruity, citrus mix. Excellent taste, and potency. I would recommend for sure if you like hybrid plants.

So yeah, harvest went well. Everything seems to have grown it’s course. Ended up with one harvest being 310g wet, another around 260g wet, another one around 280g wet, and very first plant harvest was 156g wet (I harvested it way too early, lesson learned). Overall things turned out well for my first grow.

All 4 phenotypes have different smells, tastes, looks and effects. They are all great. What a treat. 😎

Today is chop day! I just don't see any week to week progress other than this plant continues to drink water. 99% of hairs are red/copper, trichs are mostly clear still but bulbs are full and many stalks are bent. Has a great berry-lemon smell when lightly brushed against. I haven't watered for the last 3 days so it's time, that and i need to make needed room for a huge Purple Haze Auto! 10/25/21 Harvested outdoor Jack Herer that was planted same time as indoor JH, Just sun cured to dopey, trichomes ripened goodness! Will be doing Jack Herer Auto Outdoors next year, can't wait to taste this outdoor stuff as it smells totally different than indoors, musk/skunk, and very outdoorsy lemon/pine Marijuana smell vs. Blueberry pine with alot of candy tones but smokes smooth and light. This outdoors stuff has much more robust calyx/bud formation and zero pistils. Trichomes are stretched and bent, bulbs have mostly been lost in wind but by golly the buds are thick, dense and packed with crystals! This will be some primo sh*t! I always liked great outdoor strain buds. Fresh cut weight was just under a half pound. After quick, wet trim, it lost .10lb. These buds are so dense and trim leaves did not give that fresh cut smell or feel so a week hang drying at 69%RH won't lose much h2o weight but releasing buds from main stem will. I assume 1.75oz. Yeah... we'll see though. Keep ya updated.

Accidentally Updated wrong one, so its finished and i updated it ignore the last week because it posted to this week. Buds came out amazing i like it more then the others.

Well for my first LED and Auto grow I'll give it a solid "B+" Buds didn't firm up, like I'm used to with an outdoor photo but the ease of maintenance made up for it in my situation. Not happy with the root system. Seemed thin and I'm thinking I had a lot of nutes go to waste? Smell is amazing! Fruity, citrus. Easily concealed while growing. Harvested with cloudy tri's and you can tell. Major head buzz that will keep you up and going for a good while. Can't wait to take what I e learned and see what I can improve on.

Jack Herer Autoflower by ILGM grow's big and has a massive yield, there's a piney, peppery & woody taste when smoked and the high is clear headed and energetic it's great for daytime use 😎

This seed grew well. There were no real issues. I kept a disease free environment with growing conditions tightly controlled.

I started out with 3 plants. All was fine until one developed rust fungus. The was my fault. The other 2 never showed any signs of rust or any problems at all. They grew looking completely different and even the buds are noticeably different. As a 1st time cultivator - I have no idea if this is because of the way I grew them. The germination process was a non event - thanks ILGM !!!

Grew 2 Jack Herers. Both turned into hermies in flower with tons of pollen sacs (they may have shown up earlier and I missed it due to blind faith in feminized seeds). I tossed one of them and harvested one of them at week 13. It probably had 2-3 more weeks before it would have been ready. After too many hours of picking off the balls, it was too much upkeep. After harvesting, I'm confident it was the right call - there were pockets of balls all over the place and it would have been too much risk for my other plants and neighbors (one of them stopped by and kindly asked that I chop it as well!) I'm drying the bud now and will try to cure it nice and slow to see what I can salvage. I'm assuming I won't get much out of it which is a huge bummer since I was really looking forward to this strain. I'll probably end up making tincture out of it and having to mix it with other strains to neutralize any poor type of effects. But, who knows? Maybe it'll turn out. I'll update once I have dry weight and after testing it out. Given that it's my first grow, it could have been a ton of things that forced this into hermie status. Maybe genetics? Maybe the heat from the black fabric pots (switching to tan next grow)? Maybe too many nutrients (switching to Ocean Forest soil and will reduce nutrients next grow)?

Great buzz for vacuuming the house naked. Day or night bud, but more day bud. Great heady high with no couch lock, smooth smoke, strong buzz lasting several hours.
