Blueberry Muffin

De toppen zijn niet zo dicht als ik zou willen, maar dit is een geweldige plant. Gemakkelijk te kweken met consistente resultaten.

Zeer gemakkelijke plant om te kweken. Als je aarde maakt, zorg er dan voor dat je de aarde goed aanpast aan de onderkant van de pot, je zult me later dankbaar zijn. Maar ja, goede rook, heel bessenachtig, maar op de snelle plant duurde het echt 50 dagen en ik had het eerder kunnen oogsten. Ik heb gewacht tot week 8, maar ik heb de telefoon pas in week 10 gedaan. Totaal 70 dagen of 65 dagen in bloei.. de andere gaf me echt gekke kleuren van paars en roze, wat cool is. Ik denk dat het beter zal roken dan de andere. Maar ja, dit waren testers van North Atlantic Seeds Company en Humboldt Seed Company: het is 20 voor een driepack fems, je kunt de deal niet verslaan.. zoals ik al zei, kijk ze even na..

Ze gaf me uiteindelijk 22 gram. Na tien dagen met vivi cure ruikt ze ongelooflijk, fruitig, wijnachtig, een beetje romig.

Deze strain was echt leuk om te kweken. Het is heel gemakkelijk om mee om te gaan, terwijl het geweldige geuren oplevert! Ook is het een mooie plant om gewoon naar te kijken. Ik zou iedereen aanraden om deze strain te kweken.

Over het algemeen een moeiteloze, handsfree kweek. Humboldt is altijd consistent, hoewel deze twee veel grotere nugs hadden dan de laatste keer dat ik deze strain kweekte. Vooral BBM2, die behoorlijk chunky werd in vergelijking. Hoeveelheid frost en het kenmerkende blueberry stankcake aroma is moeilijk te weerstaan. Super gemakkelijke kweek met minimale training/defoliatie. Ik had meer moeten doen om de bovenste toppen te maximaliseren, maar besloot om vanaf het midden uit te spreiden om te zien hoe dat uitpakte. Genoeg larf voor hash, als niets anders. Het is leuk om de reactie van mensen te zien die kennismaken met gelegaliseerde bloemen en de geur van Blueberry Muffin ruiken. Laat me elke keer lachen. Ik kan het Autopot-systeem niet genoeg aanbevelen als je niet consistent tijd hebt voor je tuin. Ik kon mijn huidige 8g reservoir gemakkelijk uitbreiden om me zelfs langer dan de 8-daagse werkreis die ik een paar weken geleden had, te geven.

Ik heb er twee van deze in deze ronde gehad, twee verschillende phenotypes: de ene had iets kleinere toppen en duurde iets langer om af te ronden dan de andere. Beide hebben langer geduurd dan verwacht om amberkleurige trichomen te ontwikkelen, maar de geur is gewoon heerlijk en het wachten waard. Beide ruiken naar bosbessen en deeg. Ik zal een update geven zodra ze volledig gedroogd en genezen zijn. Heb het natte materiaal gewogen.

Dag 64 van de bloei. De trichomen zijn voor een goed deel amberkleurig. Het is tijd voor de oogst. Dit fenotype is visueel identiek aan dat van de vorige ronde. De terpenen zijn echter anders. Dit fenotype heeft een sterke zoete fruitbonbon geur in de richting van fruitsalade met bosbessen. Het bessenaroma staat echter niet op de voorgrond. Niet zoals bij de vorige ronde. Dat was bosbes Hardcore Deluxe. Maar goed, ik ben benieuwd naar de smaak en de effecten. Komt dan als update over ongeveer 6 weken. De trichomen zijn gemiddeld voor 25% amber.

Ging oké, geur heeft wat zoetheid, maar geen duidelijke bosbessen geur.

Gemakkelijk te kweken en zeer veerkrachtig. Geweldige terpenen!

Quite a low yielder. But this terpenes are so sweet and crazy that this is still a 9/10. Buds are airy an leafy but trichomes all over. Flower Rosin is insane on this one. Smells like fresh ripe blueberries.

Grow had its ups and downs, but I learned a lot with my experiments, which were: - How does 13h of Light affect the yield / Buds? CONCLUSION: Colas seem to get bigger, but mainly due to the induced foxtailing, which at the same time delays the plant from finishing properly. I may do it again, but switch back to 12h latest from week 7 of Flower to avoid these extreme foxtails. - Does Living Soil work with VERY small pots (4L in this case)? CONCLUSION: No. Nutrient deficiencies/buildups make it really hard to balance things out. Will definitely switch back to at least 12L again next time. - How do I like auto watering? CONCLUSION: I didn‘t properly read Autopot‘s insctructions and forgot to add the needed 40-50% perlite which resulted in an extremely wet soil, rendering the auto watering useless. Thinking about the perlite, it reduces the useable amount of living soil by nearly half the volume. Therefore I‘d use at least the 35L if not the 50L Pots. However these won‘t fit the MiniGrow then. For the future growing in this minibox I will switch back to hand watering or try the Bluemats I have lying around somewhere next time. As for the strain, the Blueberry terps are quite strong and I cannot wait how they turn out once dried. Will definitely grow this once again in a bigger tent with proper living soil conditions.

Everything in the tent hermed a little. Sad thing is that I don’t even know why and haven’t realized it until I harvested. So that was kind of sad but also explains why they stopped developing flowers at some points. Even under these circumstances, this plant managed to grow amazingly smelling resinous buds which gives you a nice afternoon high.

To be honest I'm a bit reserved about this strain. I have been growing for many years now (not all my grows are on GD) and this strain is probably the smallest I have ever grown. It needs A LOT of veg time. I received these clones in mid November and vegged them out till the new year. I barely touched them so over watering is not the issue here. During the flip to flower all my photos usually double in the stretch. This strain only went up a few inches at most. So if space is an issue for you this might be the right strain for you to grow. I had 10 plants and it was very manageable. These ladies do not drink much I could go about 10 days without hitting them with something. They just simply did not drink even in the flowering stage. So I think this is a great beginner strain. The yield on it is disappointing about 45 grams per plant or a total of 1 pound from 10 modest sized plants. Yet the smell and taste is great! All in all I don't think I will be growing this strain as a mono crop ever again. I need a modest yield as my general harvest is around 600 grams. I might grow it as a side plant but I doubt Humboldt Seed Company will be in my tent ever again. The failure of the freak show and the donuts triploid controversies as well as my own experience I think their seeds are over rated. Ein Strain in den ich mich sehr verliebt habe. Ich krieg von diesen Blueberry-terps nicht genug. Die Terps sind bei allen Phenos ziemlich ähnlich. Der Ertrag unterscheidet da doch etwas mehr.

Pretty good strain, smells good and produces. Although will probably stick with Blueberry for my BB kick. I still 4 seeds so will do another round, buds are nice and sticky so could be a really good hash plant.

Auf BlueberryMuffin von der HumboldtSeedCompany kann man sich einfach verlassen. Das aussehen der phenos unterscheidet sich leicht. Eine ist hübscher als die Andere. Aber der Geschmack ist bei allen eine Wucht! Hätte ich den Platz für zwei anständige Zelte wäre einer dauerhaft mit BlueberryMuffin belegt

The Blueberry Muffin’s the most terpy strain i’ve grown so far. Lot’s of tropical fruits (pineapple, guava) but also some blueberry and a subtle gassy-ess. No mold, and except for the slight deficiency not major problems in growing, always recovered well. Also found 1 (and only 1) seed while trimming. Slight variation between the pheno’s: the purple pheno has a bit more fruitiness while the greener pheno has a bit more gassy and maybe even earthy terps…. while smoking there is some piney mintiness going on too 120g dry! Which makes for a good grow in my eyes. The smoke is smooth and although the weed’s not the strongest (+/- 16% im guessing), the high is a pleasant hybrid high with some tingles in the limbs, calm in the head, and a little couch-lock.
