Ook al wilde ik haar een paar keer op de composthoop gooien, ben ik uiteindelijk blij dat ik dat niet heb gedaan. Van alle meisjes heeft ze wel de kleinste opbrengst, maar zeker de meeste suiker. Na het drogen schrijf ik hoe de rook was...

Ook mooi roken

Gorilla Melon: produceerde voornamelijk dichte toppen, het product heeft een gematigde sterkte, ontspannende high. zwakke aroma, maar de lijmgeur komt naar voren als je het maalt.

Ook een hele mooie plant geworden, die echt super plakt haha :D De knoppen ruiken ook echt goed fruitig :3 Ze zijn ook keihard geworden als kiezelstenen :D Je kunt ze gebruiken om mee te gooien voor zelfverdediging ⭕D Helaas heb ik het denk ik een beetje verpest door de luchtpomp die constant aanstond. Volgens de trichomen was ze namelijk eigenlijk reisefertig na week 8 van de bloei. Normaal gesproken hebben de planten altijd een week langer nodig dan aangegeven en dat was 10 weken :o Maar ik heb geoogst op basis van de trichomen, niet op tijd. Het zou me echter wel wat opbrengst gekost kunnen hebben, alles bij elkaar :D Ik wil deze soort zeker nog een keer uitproberen, misschien met stekken en vergelijkingspotten :o

Een zeer frosty genetica! Absoluut de droom van elke washer! Zeer mooie budstructuur, zelfs de buds die nauwelijks tot geen licht hebben gezien. Ik ben mega tevreden met haar!

De bovenste bladerdak presteerde zeer goed en ontwikkelde een stevige en dichte knopstructuur. Onderste Bladerdak: Door de 50W lichtlimiet bleven de onderste knoppen kleiner en minder ontwikkeld, maar hadden nog steeds een goede harsbedekking. De Gorilla Melon bleef volledig stabiel en vertoonde tijdens de laatste droogperiode geen tekenen van stressgerelateerde problemen. Terpeenprofiel & Hars Aroma: Een prachtig en zoet geurprofiel waarbij het frisse meloenaroma duidelijk op de voorgrond staat. Ondertonen: De zoete fruitigheid wordt ondersteund door een duidelijke "Glue" funk, wat het een complex en plakkerig-zoet karakter geeft. Frostigheid: Zeer hoge trichoomdichtheid op de hoofdcolas, wat de knoppen een zilverachtige, bevroren uitstraling geeft.

Should have listened to all the ppl warning me. 60% of my Gorilla Melons were herm'ed on the 3-4th week. Too many balls to count per plant on week 5. No bananas or "nanners", but actual pollen sacks on different places than the female parts. Genetical, not environmental. Found multiple dry opened shells of the sacks on top of the plants soil. Whole tent pollinated. Fast Buds is rushing these genetics out too fast without proper stabilization. Check GD and reddit for other people's experiences. All the time and work and investment ruined. Not happy.

Another great strain, heavy and strong as a bull

Poor thing had a rough start but came back strong. Funny that at the beginning of flowering i could smell the diesel aroma but then the sweetness of fruits took over. Took the wet weight with the whole plant which was 810g Friday 02-May25. Got her hanging in the grow tent with one fan on low speed along with a humidifier set at 58 %RH with my INKBIRD device and the MarsHydro exhaust fan at the very lowest possible level.

Be questa ragazza è uscita bella anche lei, ottime cime dure come sassi e una buona quantità di resina, le cime un po piccoline rispetto alla sorella papaya, ma cmq un ottima genetica e posso dire che fastbuds ci sa fare veramente con queste nuove fotoperiodiche!

Las Gorilla Melón son una variedad que aparte de ser fácil de cultivar tiene una flores que son bien prietas, densas y muy pegajosas, bastante resinosas. Los sabores que se remarcan para Mi gusto son dulce y terrosa con toques tropicales. Y la pegada es bastante dura cerebral, muy física. Son bastante resistentes, para mi gusto bastante buenas, a mi sabores así tan exóticos, me encantan, si os gusta el tema Cali, es una gran elección, de mis favoritas, os lo garantizo.

It definitely didn't have an easy time with me. Nevertheless, it remained stable throughout. Unfortunately, seeds formed shortly before harvest.

Drying and Curing After careful inspection and harvesting, the buds spent 12 days drying in optimal conditions. The process highlighted their density and frostiness, revealing red undertones beneath a blanket of trichomes. Once trimmed, the buds were cured to bring out the strain’s full potential, locking in its flavors and potency. Smells Like gasy fruites, the buds are super sticky!

Nice smell of citrus and poison green buds,the Gorilla Melon is a nice strain for every one who wants big flowers with big green colas.

The smoke on these without a cure is excellent. When breaking up these beautiful buds first thing you notice is that up front gorilla glue smell. On the backend you get that watermelon sweet smell. The inhale without lighting is very strong gg/melon taste. When lit the first pull you can really taste the watermelon in it . On the first hit you get a heavy indica affect in the body. A relaxed heaviness followed by a relaxing mellow buzz. No paranoia just a real nice relaxed feeling. Three hits is all you need. If you keep smoking it will knock you out. This is definitely potent smoke. Think twice if you have a big day planned and want to chief heavy on this one. You will stay right where you are.
