Plant Morphology All phenos were on the taller side, but not unwieldy. Expect about a 1.5x stretch in bloom. As far as coloring goes, we had 50% purple and 50% green (with some maroon/red fade) in our testing cohort, but they were all equally gorgeous. Staking and training will help to support the buds and create an even canopy. Trichome accumulation is so gluttonously excessive it should come with a frost warning. Buds were generally large, spherical cones with very fat calyxes. The quality was insane across the board: think boutique on steroids. Terpenes A very complex, wonderful terpene profile ranging from pine and gas to a sharp lemon Meyers hand soap with herbal and berry undertones. Effect A very spacey mellow effect and a nice, balanced body and head high. Not overly sedative but leans indica. Notes from the Grower(s) The Pine Tree Kush turned out to be one of our favorite breeding projects thus far. Beth, in particular, really fell in love with this one and it’s likely you’ll see it popping up in breeding projects to come. A mix of Grape Jelly [Dirty Bird] x Platinum Kush Breath Remix [In House], this lady is a tribute to our home state of Maine, aka the Pine Tree State. The amazingly complex terpene profile had pine overtones and undertones across the cohort, and her buds were largely shaped like pine trees, with so much frost you could ski them.
