Brother Mendel’s Selection

So my harvest way exceeded my expectations. All buds are dried, trimmed, and in cure bags. I ended up with 218g from my cookies and berries, and my black strap was 208g!! I have a second Black strap I started only a week after this one I harvested and it still easily has 3-4 weeks to go. I think I may get 10oz from it.

This is the second strain I’ve grown from Brother Mendel and it was a “freebie” Kaleidoscope II. So the plants ended up staying really compact and didn’t stretch much. I also noticed the frost on these weren’t as strong as my Blue Raz run and the smell is also not as pungent versus my 1st grow. All in all no real issues or complaints just surprised how compact the plants remained.

Have you ever seen an auto go 16 weeks? Well if not you have now. This strain was a nightmare towards the end. I will say the genetics are supposed to be fire and I’ve heard a lot of great things but this strain in particular was a not so great. That being said eventually she did eventually produce good weight and okay trichome production but it took way to long and I’m still not to impressed with the quality. I can grow Fastbuds and have way better quality and just as much weight in a quarter of the time. But it’s all in the experience. Thanks for tuning in.
