Bodhi Seeds

It smells strongly of pine when first drying. This gradually fades into the background as the sugar cereal smell gets stronger. I let it dry 10 days. I’ll update the smell profile and talk more about the effects if this entry can be edited. I want to wait until I’ve cured it for a few weeks.

Great stuff. Solid yield, frost, potency.. checks almost all the boxes. One of my top 5 strains I've tried. Smell: Lemon, funk, some sweetness, musk. After about a month I started to taste and smell rubber, not burnt rubber. An interesting hard to place combination. I sent some off to my friend and said the smell was unique and he had to keep smelling it. Effects: Clear headed, elevated, focused, euphoric, happy, creative. This has been my go to for day time as it doesn’t put me out, but now I am trying to save it so I don’t burn through it so fast.

Bodhi - Cherry Lotus I popped a pack and had 5 females and the rest males. I let the males grow out a bit, but I really liked a Sky Lotus male and that's the one I selected. I grew 3 for flower and 2 for seeds. There were a lot of similarities between the 5 plants, large colas, great structure, cherry/fruity smells, excellent vigor, and awesome effects. 1 of the females is my favorite as it has some unique effects and I am glad I have her running in soil now. I will get into more details of the smoke report down in the harvest comments.

Being my first grow ever (and a bagseed), this grow was a BREEZE. Inadaquate conditions its whole life and still never showed any issues besides my fault of overfeeding. Smell: MAJOR notes of pine, just like the buds the seed came from. Smells like walking through a dense forest after a rain storm. But it also has a nice sweet berry to it, with some general funkiness that comes out in the grind. Taste: Sweet sweet pine, the berry comes out more in the taste and considering my dry was a poor job, it has a nice little taste to it. Towards the end of a joint it gets quite funky, that resin that builds up hits hard at the end. High: A nice middle ground "hybrid". This is a strain that can be enjoyed anytime of the day, I love to smoke a joint of it any time before I go grocery shopping, makes it much more enjoyable lol. It can be pretty cerebral without bringing any anxiety or paranoia. But it also is relaxing, without being debilitating. So basically I get both sativa and indica effects, which the trichomes really helped me nail come harvest. 7/10 smoke and high (my fault due to dry), 10/10 grow.

Great strain and happy I ran her. Nice chunky nugs that smell of lemon, pine, and some spice. She seemed a little slow in veg, but caught up to the Sky Lotus plants in flower. She was the biggest yielder in the tent and some minor nutrient issues, but otherwise she was easy to keep happy. Smell: Pine-sol and musky/spicy. It smells like pine-sol lemon cleaner when it is on hard wood. I know specific, but there is some musk on the back end with all the lemon and pine. The smell isn't as loud as some others, but it is an excellent terp profile. Effects: Relaxing without making me sleepy. You know the high when you don't want to do shit but watch netflix... that's what this does to me. Love it at the end of the day.

I grew 2 different phenos of the Sky Lotus and both were strong, easy to manage plants. More details about the grow in the harvest comment. Smell: They both have a pine, lemon, musky smell, but the 1 pheno has a nice berry smell to it on top of the typical OG smells. Effects: Berry smelling plant is more uplifting, gives energy, and makes me happy. The more OG leaning plant puts me in a more relaxed, positive thinking headspace. Out of all my recent harvests, the Sky Lotus berry pheno rarely leaves the pipe.

I honestly feel like this is some of the best bud I've ever had. Maybe its the TLC that dispensaries can't provide en mass, coupled with top-tier genetics, and having it fresh--- but gee f***ing wizz. I've been toking it for a week now, and I went from 10 bowl packs/day to 2/day max. It is so strong, it makes me dizzy. Tastes and smells identical to a Lemon Italian Ice/Lemon Skittle. Its a very sweet lemon.

Smoke is good. This is a classic weed smell, although not too pungent. Effect I felt is definitely more towards a body high; couchlock and sleepy. Oh, and I do notice this one has a bit more of that lung expanding sensation compared to other strains I've grown. It's really fast acting too. Effect is felt within 2 minutes.

A real pleasure to grow this for the first time, I've already popped more seeds to look for a keeper pheno. These plants were leggy charmers, came out very similar, though one has more banana bread terp. Great golf ball nugs and ideal internodal length for having a sativa leaning variety indoors. Very unique citrus/bananabread/clean terp profile. Dense blocky buds, extra resinous. An up-and-about strain for sure. Sunshine in a bag. Very conscious, clear, pleasant high. The rosin I have pressed from some of the larf is scrumptious lol. Going up in my favorites list and can't wait to flower again. I stumbled and fell on these during their first week of flower, fracturing both trunks... They nannered a bit but really didn't hiccup too much, kept right on chuggin and really produced. Like I said, hunting a keeper of this atm because I like it so much.
