As a first time grower, I don't really have a frame of reference but I think they worked well. If you consider the stress my mistakes put the plants under, the nutes must have played a big part in the recovery (along with the genetics!)

harvest on 25/03/21 - In the end, a fairly lightweight plant but definitely robust. As previously stated in the diary, I stressed the plants out with my newb mistakes but the yield on the Northern Light was about 70% of the smallest Fat Banana. Looking forward to sampling after the 8 week cure but the dried variety is definitely decent. I would like to give this type another try when my growing skills are honed.

This was my first grow and I definitely made mistakes but the harvest was still very respectable. In the grow cupboard, I didn't water enough, air exchange wasn't great and as a result, the plants overheated on several occasions. On one occasion almost to death!!! That called for decisive action, so I picked up a Gorilla grow tent (1.2m x 1.2m) along with the extraction etc and things improved immediately. I don't think I'll grow 6 at one time again. Too much management for me. The LST seemed to work well for several plants and not the others - 3 were a Xmas tree shape and 3 were candelabra shape. Considering the stress I put on them (due to being a newb) they bounced back brilliantly and are definitely a resilient plant. The vape is great and really packs a wallop. Having said that, I'm aiming for a 8 week cure, so by the end it will be top class!
