Hell yeah, this light was epic! Probably not the best plant to demonstrate this light's potential, but check out the Toofless Alien harvest, which was in the same tent/light and basically had 30 of these huge nugs.

Love this tent - for the way I do hydroponics, it has ports in all the right places! It works well for me b/c I run autos, but I'm docking a star b/c there are several light gaps by the zippers. I'm sure I could patch them with duck tape, but it's worth noting for anyone running photos.

Toofless Alien is an incredible day strain. It's the kind of strain you can smoke on all day, and it leaves you with positive vibes and good feels. This is a good social buzz, and everyone who sampled would agree. A deep inhale after cracking the jar yields an initial funk smack that primes the airways, leaving a sweet, muddled candy berry smell and a hint of citrus. The nugs were THCICC and I was left with only 6g's of larf b/c of properly defoliating. Unfortunately, she didn't yield too well when making rosin - about 15% or so, but damn did she taste good. The resin was sticky, but not frosty enough to brush off.

Well, this probably isn't going to be the most accurate review of Double Grape, seeing as how I royally effed her via continuous drowning/stunting while left on vacation (see earlier weeks). But you know what, she's a trooper and she pulled through despite all the abuse and suffering, and she put out a whopping 15g permafrost nug! The smell is a subtle, deep concord grape with sweet, earthy undertones. I was honestly hoping for a louder grape smell, but the hint of grape is certainly there or at least the placebo of it is. DG has been great at night for helping me sleep and easing the tension in my body. It has a lot more physical effects (maybe myrcene?) like a warm weighted blanket draped over my shoulders. I will definitely be growing this one again so it can show its true potential.

This was a great tent, but I realized for my particular setup I needed more headspace and additional lower side ports by the vents. I got the Spider Farmer 2x5x6.5 and will be using this Mars Hydro as my veg tent.

Clearly, this light worked well, but I didn't get the advertised 300W. I clocked around 250-270W.
