We know we haven’t been up to the standard, and we take full responsibility. We also want to be completely transparent with you: this project was managed by an external team and agency we were working with, and unfortunately, things were not executed as they should have been. As mentioned in the previous post, we’ve resumed the contest with full commitment — and now with real, daily follow-up. Over the next few days, we’ll be closely reviewing each of you, going through your content and giving it the value it deserves. :point_right: IMPORTANT: CONTENT UPDATE We need all participants to update their posts or diaries with as much information as possible. This isn’t just about posting a photo — we want to understand your level, your criteria, and your way of working as growers. What would we like to see? :seedling: More visual content: - High-quality photos, especially bud macros - Videos of your grow, process, development, or grow room - Plant progress and evolution, if available Technical grow information: - Genetic uniformity - Growth type and behavior - Type of strain - Flower formation, resin, and yield - How it performed in your environment :nose: Terpene profile: - What it smells like - Aroma intensity - Profile complexity - Overall sensations Extractions (very important): - If you’ve worked this genetics for extraction, tell us: - Type of extraction - Returns achieved - Quality of resin or hash - Behavior during the process Grow context: - Country - Years of experience - Type of grow - Brief explanation of your approach :point_right: All of this will not only help you in the contest, but will also allow us to better understand the growers behind the work. We love passionate people with real criteria and a genuine way of living this culture. :scales: What will we evaluate?: - We don’t care about likes, followers, or numbers. - We care about real growing skills. We will take into account :ballot_box_with_check:: - Flower quality - Growing technique - Environment and execution - Analysis and criteria - Presentation and professionalism - Authenticity :point_right: It’s not necessary to include absolutely all of this information if you don’t have it or don’t feel comfortable sharing it. However, the more details you provide about your grow, the better we can understand your work and properly evaluate it. Family, this is the moment to stand out. There are 19 of you. 15 will be selected. And this could be the first step toward something much bigger in the long term. We’ll review everything one by one. Hello Growmates! :seedling: We’d like to share a brief clarification regarding the first-place winner selection for this contest. According to our contest rules, first-place entries must clearly showcase Mars Hydro products in the submitted photos. After the initial winner announcement, we carefully re-reviewed the first-place entry and found that the winning photo did not visibly include Mars Hydro products. Additionally, we were unable to locate corresponding diaries to further verify compliance with this requirement. After raising this concern with the GrowDiaries team, they confirmed that this specific rule was not fully taken into account during the initial selection. To ensure fairness and full compliance with the contest criteria, the GrowDiaries team has since adjusted the results, and the original first-place entry has been moved to second place. We appreciate GrowDiaries’ cooperation and understanding, and we thank all participants for sharing their grows and being part of this community. Transparency and fairness are very important to us, and we appreciate your support. Regarding prize shipment: As we were in the process of confirming the final winners, prize shipments were not arranged earlier. Photoperiod or Autoflower, Sativa, Indica, Hybrid or CBD variety - the contest is open to any diary which features a Paradise Seeds strain.
