<span class="link_user">@CaptainJimmyStoned</span>, yes, so the idea of flushing is to remove as much ppm (parts per million) or nutrients and junk in your tap water. Basically to bring the level as low as possible. So why distilled water is better, what you really want to flush with is an even lower ppm. This can be obtained by using RO water (reverse osmosis). You can usually get this at a supermarket that dispenses water into your own jugs. Usually RO water is very low with ppm, like 5 or something. That is the preference for flushing. If you can&#039;t get RO water, distilled will work. Hope that helps!
